The trailer had been washed earlier in the day, in fact. Staff made sure that the connections, both mechanical and electrical, were solid and functional. Tire pressures were visually nominal. There were no rust, dents, dings, or wobbly places in the structure of the trailer. Staff stayed a bit later than their normal closing time to accommodate my return at the end of the day. A completely satisfactory rental experience!

This location was farther from my house but I selected it since they were the closest that had the truck size I wanted. However, the truck I reserved in advance was not available when I arrived. The location knew that in advance but didn't contact me so I could have made other arrangements. They provided a larger truck (which I didn't need - I was purposely trying to avoid a large bulky truck). Although they said they just cleaned it, it was filthy. Contents spilled on the middle seat, mud on the door and mats, the windshield was so dirty you could hardly see out of it and the windshield washer didn't function. The roll-up door was excessively difficult to open or close. Lastly, although the documentation said the fuel tank was full, it only had 3/4. I had to go back into the office. Although the staff marked my sheet, they didn't update the system, so problem on web after-hours check in which indicted a full tank. Obviously there was no outgoing check on this truck. The hole experience was disappointing and fully avoidable.

Have the gas tank full like a rental car and request it be returned full rather than having to do math to figure out how much to replace. : ) Otherwise, easy transaction, easy to drive, made the move quick and efficient. I work for a film festival production company and my car was damaged regularly loading pipe and drape and projection gear. I've got a shiny new car and will insist we rent a UHaul next month!

Truck was very comfortable and drove very well. Check in was pretty easy although the check-in website would not recognize my location so I just dropped off the keys and the contract in the drop box. I received a receipt first thing Monday morning! Very good service.

The billing process is inaccurate and borderline deceptive. I turned my rental back in clean and was charged a fee for cleaning. I called U-Haul before turning the unit in and they said it would be taken care of. A week later I receive notice of the final bill and the cleaning charge was still there. This is not an issue with Nelson rather a problem with U-Haul. I checked my vehicle out at 6:00am and turned it in at 9:20pm same day. No one saw me or talked with my from Nelson as I used the app to self check in and out. Please remove the default cleaning fee from your billing process.

Make sure you contact customer beforehand to confirm truck availability...no one informed us, and had to take a much smaller truck. Personnel was fab, tho, and should be commended for polite, patient, apologetic handling of our disappointment!

I rented a car haul trailer at this location The employee that hooked the trailer up for me didn’t tighten the hitch. When I pulled my truck up onto the trailer, the trailer flipped up almost stroking my daughter. Also the unit number on the trailer didn’t match the unit number on the contract

They were convenient to my home for renting equipment, were efficient in getting me set up with what I needed including a last minute trailer receiver/ball unit. Appreciated the one-stop-shop! Nice friendly staff. The trailers were in good condition, good tires.

They increased the rate by double when I showed up to obtain the truck. Then , we were not told that there was a charge per mile on the phone only a daily charge. Never going back!

The guys I received the truck from were very helpful, however I did not receive the truck I ordered online. When Filling out my application, I signed up for a 17' truck. When I arrived at the location, I was given a 15' truck with no notification that this was changed. My confirmation said 17', but the contract I was given said 15'. I was told that U-haul double booked this reservation and there were no 17' trucks. This resulted in me having to return the next day to rent a trailer to pick up the remaining items that could not fit in the 15'. I am extremely disappointed that U-haul switched my reservation without my knowing. It caused me to loose an extra day and money from the additional rental to pick up the remaining items.

They charged me for two extra days when I did not have the truck for two extra days. They also charged me for a gas fill up when I brought it back with as much gas as I picked it up with... 1/4 tank. I wrote an email response and would like to see a speedy resolution.

Making a reservation through the main line was infuriating. I first made my reservation for a truck in Louisville CO. Got to the location and they only had a blanket and dolly reserved for me. They didn't even have trucks. Then I was sent to another location that was an auto garage. They had never rented trucks before and didn't know how to operate the Uhaul computer system, so I missed my pickup window for my couch. Then the next day, when I tried again at a 3rd location, they told me my reservation had been sent to a 4th location. Luckily they had a truck anyway and were able to rent it to me.

First off I would like to say this has been the worst rental experience I have ever had. I will not ever be coming back to U-Haul. First problem I never got a drop off location until late afternoon after I was already done with the U-Haul so I assumed that I had to drop it off at the location I picked it up at. Second I get an extra day charge for dropping off the U-Haul on Monday which I dropped it off the same day that I picked it up which was a Saturday. Third I did the online Express check-in paid $158 including taxes. Then I get a $16 charge because U-Haul system didn't include it. Is what I was told. I thought all I had to pay was the amount that I paid when I did the online check which is BS. It should have been included in the original purchase price not some hidden fee. Fourth I get an email today October 20th stating I owe $89 for mileage and an extra day which I have already called about and got credited back the extra day but now I'm getting charged an extra day plus late fees. I'm going to be sure to spread the word with my friends not to ever use U-Haul

If you take a reservation, and confirm it by both phone and email you should have the reservation. This was the worst experience I have ever had

My gas tank was not full when picked up. I drove truck 25 miles and had to fill 16.6 gallons. The guy I returned the truck to took care of me, but whoever filled out the paperwork said it was full. It wasn't even to the end of the white lines much less on the F.
