I wasnt sure who would be receiving the review, but I had made the reservation for 9am, and it turned out the location didn't open until 10. I couldn't get ahold of the customer service (sat on hold for 20 minutes with no answer) and the gentlemen was kind enough to do the inspection and give us the truck. However, we were almost an hour off due to the mishap and it made our moving situation much more difficult. You shouldn't be able to reserve a U Haul at a time when the location won't be open.Joshua F.
We had to keep the car an extra day because of storage facility issues and we were threatened with a stolen vehicle report. Very unprofessional and I will never ever use your services again and I will make sure to tell everyone and leave a bad review on Google if nothing is done about this authorized dealer as they should not be representing your company this authorized dealer can get you sued.EVA J.
They charged me for what I did not ask for. The lady charged me for$10 extra for furniture pads and dolly which I didn't ask for. She just put it in the rental agreement and I found out when I returned the truck. What a rip off. Be careful. I won't rent from this location anymore. BadTuti N.

It took forever to pick up. I understand the female worker was walking with a cane and slowly but I had things to do and it took forever. I was just standing there puzzled and not knowing what she was doing taking so long. Her cell phone kept ringing. I understand this was like a ma and pops location but I rather go to a real U-Haul location.Be M.

Unable to complete online confirmation of return of truck. I was on line for 30 minutes because everytime I took speedometer pic and tried to upload it...it kept saying low memory and I couldn't complete turn in truck registration. I called 800# and she told me that she would put notes on my account and just drop keys n drop box. Then call Uhaul agent n morningsybil B.
I was charged more than originally stated. I originally said It would be 25 miles. When I returned it the person who waited on me said I only went 17 miles. I tried to upload a picture to document the actual gas amount. It stated 1/18 when it was 1/16. It took 20 minutes to get the truck before they realized i did it online. Then it toom 17 minutes to return the truck. The ppl there are slow and argumentative and are in need of younger tech savvy customer serviceSharon V.

Bad customer service and unprofessional !!...I rented from this place on November 30, 2018 and Ttld me that the money held on my debit card was just an hold to reserve the truck and that my card was declining for the final total amount. I paid cash and the next day my debit card was charged also. On December 15th I brought it to their attention and they still haven't refunded me an it's December 25th.CORNICHE D.

Have your representative LISTEN more effectively. GIven the fact that what appears to be an error by the people at this location resulting in nearly 400 in additional charges, to say that I am displeased is an understatement. Additionally, I was advised that the facility closed at 6:30 and so when I arrived at 6:15 and they were closed I was forced to leave the truck without any communication from the people there. I attempted to contact another uHaul facility and spoke with a clerk who advised that there was noone at uHaul that I could speak with. The location that I called was at Cherry and Carson in Long Beach. I would recommend strongly that someone contact me immediately to assist in resolution of this problem as I will accelerate the issue accordingly. I had reserved to pick up my truck at a location on Cherry and Carson in Long Beach. I had used that location before and it was near Long Beach Airport where I was flying into. I was notified the day before it flew that my pick up location was being changed to a location that turned out be twice as far from the airport as the one I had requested more than doubling my cab ride. The location turned out be a store front in a strip mall which had a few trucks sitting open in the parking lot. I had lived in Long Beach for 35 years and I know the city well, if I had wanted to pick up a truck at that location I would have booked it. I was not happy about that change. That said the person that I dealt with at the pick up location was helpful and was willing to stay open late which was necessary because I couldn't get there before 6:00 when they closed which was another reason I picked the other location that stayed open until 8:00.Theodore C.

Dolly and equipment needed for move was not available. Didn't seem like they were to familiar with process and prices of renting out the Uhaul truck. Location for pick up was to far off from location needed. Not a good first experience renting a moving truck.ERICA C.

FRAUD ALERT! I was overcharged for over 120 miles that I did not use. July 31st, 2015 I used a 10 footer truck, went from the city of Compton to Santa Monica, 43 miles both ways to be exact. I was told to return the truck the very next morning because it had a reservation. I was instructed to leave the truck in the shopping center lot and drop off the key in the mail door slot. When I received my bill I couldn't believe it, I was being billed for over 180 miles. My guess is these people used the truck after I dropped it off for their own personal business and then added the miles to my bill. When I went back to the place which by the way is a "tax preparer's" office, I told the man who had originally helped me to explain the reason of this ridiculous bill, the man tried to turn things around and acted as if he was the victim, and said that he knew nothing about it and that he wasn't going to refund any of my money. I then contacted the main UHAUL customer service office, got no help from them of course! still I went ahead and filed a complain ,U-Haul Reference #905823, they said they were going to review the case, but I have not heard from them to this date, they of course charged my credit card and were paid in full. I regret the moment I decided to rent from U-haul, I would not recommend this place to anyone.ARMANDO B.

Took the trailer to drop off at the appointed time. The owner was so busy managing his quick stop/gas station alone that he said he couldn't unhook it for me-a 58 year old woman alone. He called UHaul and asked if I could take it to a town 25 mi away because he couldn't deal with UHaul trailers only trucks. My husband didn't like that idea and took it back to Mathiston but unhooked it himself rather than our using 50 more miles worth of gas. We were not happy and thinks he doesn't need to be a rep. There were no other UHaul items on the lot.JANIE D.
