Awful. We got to the location early to ensure all went smoothly, sadly this was not the case. First the location told me the UHaul wasn’t in service until Tuesday. Then after sitting on the phone with customer service, on hold for 15 minutes, waiting to get help my partner went back in to inquire as to what they meant by “not in service”. We were told we needed a key number. They key number was ridiculously difficult to find, and in the time it took to figure out what was going on, successfully login, and go through an absurd amount of customer verification we ended up actually getting into the UHaul a good 45 minutes after our designated pick up time. This set me back the entire day because not only did I get a late pick up I also had to drive a few extra miles to retrieve my apartment keys from my landlord. Because as stated I had a specific timeline to manage these things, with the UHaul taking forever to verify I had to drive out of my way to do this because I was supposed to meet them at a specific time, which as I stated was at the fault of the supplier being absolutely clueless and the customer service being horrendous. The cherry on top was the extra charges I got dumped on for getting it back a bit late. Which as mentioned numerous times is at the fault of the clueless supplier and the mundane and outdated UHaul platform and slow customer service. I thought this would be easy and has since made me think differently about using UHaul. I would LOVE the extra fee to be refunded but I doubt that will happen because UHaul very clearly does not care about their customers. Honestly better off using a local moving company, at least they care about their reputation.

The services were good, however they need a 24hrs. online close out service.. We had to give the keys to the cashier with no receipt, so we took a picture with the keys in his hand to say he recieve the Keys, Very unprofessional.

Comments: Service/attendant was very polite and thorough. Overall easy and smooth process. Suggestion: Perhaps have moving blankets, dollies, Hand trucks available for day-of rental? Although I realize you can do this ahead of time online in advance, this could make it easier to deal with unexpected circumstances on the day of moving.

Truck was dirty. Tire pressure light came on after I drove 2 miles. Tried to charge me over when I paid for my mileage 50miles. Paperwork did not match the information on mileage or gas tank . I put the tank back to the line where it was gentleman charged me for gasoline and for the mileage that was off on the truck . Truck was lagging and sounded like it was going to shut down. By far the worst experience I’ve had renting a u-haul.

I got the truck with 1/8 gas left in the tank. The manager gave me $18 credit so I would have return the truck with 1/2 tank of gas. $18 was definitely not enough for me to fill it up to 1/2 tank. I got scammed and I don’t recommend this place.
