Your app location of where the truck would be located is different than site location. They cannot park the truck in the front due to city restrictions per the mini storage attendant. I had to wait 45 minutes before the storage attendant arrived to get this information.

The uhaul was in pretty rough shape the gear shifter was loose. The back gate was frozen shut, had to go all the way to the back and clear the snow off of it. Should have been started and brought up to us cleared and warmed up.

The contract for the truck I rented said it had 1/4 tank of gas. When you turned the key on, that is what it looked like. BUT, when you actually started the engine, it had 10, I repeat 10 miles to empty displayed on the dash and the needle plummeted to E. Do these people who check these vehicles in not actually turn the engine on to really check the fuel level?? What happened to the days when you rented a truck with a full tank and returned it with a full tank. I was thankful there was a gas station nearby. Then there was the issue of the back of the truck. When the back was opened, there were moving pads strewn about the back of the truck. I thought, no big deal…Big Deal!! I got the truck to my residence and went into the back to fold up the pads and they were LITERALLY stuck to the floor!! The previous renter had spilled a TON of sticky syrupy substance all over the back of the truck, then covered it with the moving pads. I literally had to peel the pads off of the floor and spent another hour scrubbing the floor so my shoes wouldn't stick to the floor and come off of my feet… it was that sticky. Someone should have folded those pads up and seen the mess before re-renting the truck. I felt overall there was just a total lack of interest in maintaining this vehicle… no gas, sticky stuff all over the back… why didn't someone catch this and why was I the one that had to remedy the problems before I could even use the truck that I had paid to use???? I have rented from U-Haul many times and have always been happy with my experience. This time I was not…

Make sure someone is at the shop with the doors unlocked next time. Additionally, ensure that customer service is available and easy to rectify the situation when something goes wrong. Have systems in place instead of transferring customers to different numbers. Don't charge customers twice for a truck they were unable to pick up. Make sure the lock and the code for the lock actually works.

First of all, the engine light was on the entire time I had the vehicle. Then the muffler is completely shot, I actually had another driver on the road wave me down, and yelled from his car that I could get a noise complaint from driving it! I ended up with a severe headache and ringing ears. The engine sounded terrible, we kept thinking it was going to die while we had it. And last but not least....someone prior to me had LEFT UNDERWEAR in the front seat!! Disgusting. Then they claimed I drove 44 miles. I checked with map quest on the distance between my home and location, and it said 11 miles one way, and I only live a very short distance from the pick up site. So I'm thinking 25-26 miles...........how did they get 44? I should have written down the starting mileage, but neglected to do so. But I feel ripped off. At the very least, they should have offered me a discount for renting out such an unsafe/terribly loud truck!! Very disappointed, will not be renting from this location ever again.

Other than to leave the keys in the red box and to fill the thank, I was not told about the link or online process to return the truck… and I failed to read all the instructions so I only did everything I knew to do. Suggestion not to assume the Customer knows… probably a “five” step “graphic” chart for returning trucks after hours would be nice.

Drove truck 5 miles but charged for 3 gallons of fuel. Requested packing blankets but none were loaded on the truck. Lucky the move was a short distance since the truck was rented out with barely over a quarter tank of gas....

Actually fill up the fucking trucks before renting them out so you don't scare people into filling up more gas than they used so they don't get gashed on stupid fees

The manager / office staff was great. However, she still charged me for a dolly which we did not receive and the truck was majorly in need of an alignment. This seems to be an issue with Uhaul; your trucks are just outdated.

I informed them on return that a break light was out and turn signal was not very visible. Had to wait for the truck to be returned for us. We had to sweep it out. They were doing everything they could to get the truck back so we could take it.

The location was great, and helpful, however your on line booking system sucks. Constant pop ups, i specifically said NO to carts and blankets... Guess what we in my cart at check out? When arriving to pick up my truck, it says "oh, there's a problem" so i had to go inside and waste an hour anyway. Should I not have received an email update BEFORE I arrived to tell me there's an issue? I didn't... But i did get an ton of spam from you...before and after. Pathetic for such an established company... Can you say "Sears and Roebuck"

I tried using Uhaul app, but it would not upload pictures. I finally went to Uhaul.com and several numb hands later it uploaded my pics. (Only negative experience).

The clerk helping me admitted the vehicle had just been returned and they hadn't had time to clean it, but the drivers area was so dirty. She did sanitize it, but it looked like there was dried vomit on the dashboard.

Madison Gutfleisch was the employee who I had assist me with my reservation. From the minute she got to work tj t morning she was rude. I had a gentleman who I had hired to help drive the uhual and pick up the item I bought who was with me in the store to pick up my rental. I Booked at the day before online prayer with a live agent who set up my whole reservation for me. Including my debit card and all required information needed for the reservation. When we got to the store she was upset that I had not download in my drivers license on the U-Haul app which I have no problem doing I just didn't know I had to do it. I asked how how to do it and she got mad that I didn't know how to download it and began to be so rude it was unbelievable. She insinuated I was stupid and unorganized. I took the day off work to get this handled and she humiliated me in the store I. Front of two men who were in there. I have never had such poor customer service in all my life. She said smart comments about me personally to me and threatened me not to let me rent the uhual. I felt at her mercy and it was so terrible. When she finally gave me the keys she refused to tell us which truck was ours so we had to go to each one outside while trying not to slip on the ice covered parking lot and as we walked out she continued to say rude comments. I am double her age and would never talk to someone how she talked to us. I am still so upset how she treated me. She charged me for an extra day upfront even though I told her I didn't need it. She made accusations of me streaming the truck and treated me like a piece of garbange. I asked her her name and she would not tell me. She proceeded to tell me she hated renting g the uhual out and all she cared about was the storage units. I found the customer service number and immediately called the rep Orr supervisor of this location who has been wonderful. His name is Jake. He is going to talk to the manager of the store tomorrow. So hopefully this will be resolved but something has to be done about this terribly rude employee. Not a good rep for uhual. I rent uhual all the time and will never ever return to this site as long as she is there.

Costumer service needs to improve. The staff member who helped me had an attitude and was rude. She needs to be more friendly. Also, she seemed bothered every time I asked a question to confirm I was a understanding the terms and conditions of renting the truck.

When we went to return the truck, there was not a lot of space. Overall, the most frustrating part is the repetitiveness of checking in and out the truck. I uploaded my license two separate times. Just seems redundant. Trying to check it back in was the most frustrating as the system wasn't working. The truck was also below 1/4 of a tank when we got it.

I rented a 15' truck. When I measured the bed of the vehicle it was only 13' from front of the box to inside the closed door. I needed a full 15' to transport the wooden bar top I built. Fortunately I was able to just get it in the box on the diagonal. Please represent the sizes of your trucks accurately.

After 2 very good experiences w/both staff & vehicle, this vehicle was broken down piece of crap. Driver side visor kept falling down to block my driving view(holder to lock in place ripped out), upon loading stuff to take to new location the door was stuck open as lock piece would hit frame. After jerking, poking ,etc for 5 minutes got it to come down. In filling up gas tank, cap fell on ground as tie broke loose. I shared all of this w/nice attendant who acknowledged, yes, they knew this was an 'old, junky vehicle.' I had picked up vehicle B4 they were open using your App registration. So I paid same amount of $$ for 2 previous good rentals as one 'old, junky vehicle', bad business.

The first truck that was brought out to me I could hear from the time it started till it got to me it was running so hard and rough so I requested a different truck and the woman's demeanor changed immediately and she became rather rude. Also the truck that was rented to me was filthy inside, hard candies stuck to the inside Of the box and wrappers everywhere. I was also overcharged and I'm not sure why…
