I was quoted by Naballi that if I kept the truck additional days it would be $40 a day. I had an issue tried calling this place 3 or 4 times and no one would return my call. I finally got through, asked if I could return the truck to any uhaul rental place. I was yelled at by every member of their staff I believe letting me know , that was their truck get it back. I paid over 100 the first day then I paid an additional almost 300. How are you supposed to talk to someone when they aren't around and they don't answer their phone. He made me feel very stupid and very insignificant. Never once m looked at me, just said you will get an email receipt and get your bag out of my truck or you will be charged.John R.

Everything was great with the location. Uhaul on the other hand made it a nightmare first online they were charging me from Saturday to monday. But I only needed it Saturday. I had to call to fix it. Then when we went to pick up the truck they found nothing for me. No registration or anything. Which threw my blood pressure thru the roof. Luckily there was a truck available and the location fixed everything and we had a truck.Clayton P.
The pick off drop off was ok but uhaul customer service and communication was HORIBBLE!! Original drop off place put me on hold and never came back. Reason why I had to come back to Ashtabula!! Paid more and was inconvenience!!! A ton of improvement is needed there. Ends up costing customer more $$$Mark S.
Pull your equipment from this location. Nabali Auto Sales is a very poor representation of U-Haul. Look at all the negative google reviews for U-Haul rental experiences from this location. Multiple people complaining about overcharging and padding the bill. I am also one of the unfortunate ones that mistakenly rented from him. Worse experience I ever had with U-Haul. Nabali Auto Sales truly gives U-Haul a bad name.Allan M.
Well firstly there is not a clear spot to park when you return a U-Haul to this location. The employee that helped me, which I can only assume was the owner, was rude and was questioning me about where I picked it up from. When we were trying to park where he told us to, his directions while guiding didn't make sense. He also told us to leave the keys inside the vehicle, which means the vehicle when we left was unlocked and the owner left the premises before we had even completed the return. Trailer had one new tire and the other one was bald and looked like it was ready to blow out.Never noticed the bad tire until arriving at destination or I would never had taken the trailer.Obviously maintenance isn't very important part of your business.kevin L.
I was told that the truck would be available at 0800. there was nobody at the location. I called the 800 number and they finally got somebody to open up the business but I was an hour late from my schedule. The rental and return from the same zip code directed me to drop the truck off at a different location. MAKE sure you check the mileage charges for the I was verbally told the there was no cost for mileage if returned to the same location then charged for all miles over 30.Kevin C.

This person was rude he told us to shut up he smoked in the office. He told us because of corona virus he could not have more than one person in the office but the prior date he had three in the office he did not wear a mask. He also tried to sell a service to our helper that was only there because he was helping us not to be sold anything. This person has no customer service skills. I would never go business with him again. I have used uhual always always a good experience until now. They worst experience ever.Thomas M.

Close this location down. They should not be operating under the Uhaul name. I have rented many Uhauls before and never had a bad experience like this. I have always been asked before if I would like to purchase the extra insurance for the Uhaul. This location failed to ask me, instead they automatically added it to my bill. When I called for a refund, they were rude and unhelpful. This location gives the Uhaul company a TERRIBLE name. It is dirty and unprofessional.Jessica W.
The truck is aupppaes to be sweaped our after every use. When we picked it up it had macaroni noodles all over the floor. We almost ran out of gas because the gas gauge was broke, there was a huge crack in the windshield. Also, we didn't even pick up the truck at the designation location. I have used uhaul before and never have I ever been so disappointed in my life this time. The truck was $900.00 and it was a mess from pick up to drop off.Marisa T.

I rented uhaul on 9/29/18 at 13:53 and returned it at 12:36 on 9/30/18. I didnt even have it 24 hours and I was charged for 2 day rental period. I use uhaul often, I will not recommend anyone rent from uhaul. The owner said it's not him uhaul charges this way. I called uhaul customer service and was placed on hold for 30 min. I have never had this happen before I will take my business elsewhere.TRACY D.

They did not have the dolly that I ordered, only a furniture mover, which was no help. The Truck's windows were actually muddy when I ran the wipers across them. The truck on the outside was filthy and I barely wanted to touch it to adjust the mirrors. I did not understand why it took so long to get my truck when I checked in online to avoid the process. I was the only customer there and it took at least 20 minutes for the girl to process everything. She never looked over the truck with me or anything, just handed me the key and pointed at the truck. To say the least, I was disappointed in the service at this location.Melissa J.

I felt Nabali Auto Sales was dishonest, and I will be leaving a similar review on Google. I was originally quoted $19.99 for the rental, plus about $20 for mileage. When I arrived, Nabali informed me that extra insurance was "required". I asked three times, as there was a language barrier, but each time the gentleman assured me insurance was "required". Next, the gentleman informed me it would be cheaper for me to take a one way trip and drop the Uhaul off in Geneva. I explained that I had done the calculation and that his preferred method was not cheaper. He went through a cost breakdown. I assured the gentleman that I understood what he was saying, but thought the single way trip would be cheaper (it would have been--I took a picture of my mileage upon arriving at my house). Again, while the language barrier may have contributed to the issue, it is not appropriate for a vendor to change a requested service based on cost considerations unless the vendor is indeed correct. All said and done, a $40-$50 rental turned into a $105.68 rental. This is not an honest way to do business.Andrew B.

Pull the franchise from this location. Didnt even know i was coming with a reservation. The truck was blocked with used cars in a lot that hadnt been snow plowed in weeks. The computer wouldnt work to check reservation. Did not, and would not do a walk around. The gas gauge read just over quarter tank, was supposed to be half full. The front suspension was making a loud banging noise that to them was normal. WE cleaned the snow off the vehicle. It took close to an hour and a half, yes 1.5 hours just to pick up the truck from arival to driving it off the lot. This place sells used cell phones, and used cars, so the service or lack of ,was probably par for this place. I hardly doubt that im the only person to complain about them. When i return this summer to move the rest of my belongings, ill NOT deal with them again.WALDEN H.
Rental reservation was called in at 1:15 PM and I advised them I was unable to get there until 2:15 PM since I had to drive 20 plus miles. However, my contract read that I needed to return by 1:15 PM the next day. I had to rush to meet the 23 hour deadline and almost had to pay for an extra day.michael K.

Picked up a trailed that had two bad tires. This should have never happened. The owner should have inspected the trailer before giving it to me. I had to take it to a gas station to get replacement tires. Safety should be the number one concern.WHITE S.

I had asked for a truck from Conneaut, Ohio and when I got my confirmation, I had to go to Ashtabula, Ohio and it took me 45 minutes each way. This was 1 1/2 hours of unnecessary travel time for a 4 hour rental. I was also not pleased with being charged 99 cents a mile on top of the rental especially since so much of it was simply to pick up and drop off the truck. It would have cost me less than half this amount with a different rental hauling place.athur P.

I requested a small Uhaul ($19.95) at .79 cents a mile. Reservation was confirmed. I went to pick it up...and it wasn't there. I was sent to pick it up at a location further away. The business owner was argumentative. I took the truck, brought it back in a couple hours and was overcharged for another truck and all the owner would say was "Take it up with Uhaul.") And yes I am going to do that! What a hassle the whole ordeal with Uhaul can be.CHERYL V.
