The person who checked my truck in was extremely personable and helpful! The two dozen packing blankets I had to purchase cost $333 ( and I was given a huge discount from Lowe’s) and the employee managed to get me a $200 refund (apparently that is UHaul’s limit). I would definitely recommend the Adel, Iowa, UHaul!

I feel you guys should throughly explain all charges and expectorations. I specifically asked about mile and fuel charges and was told there were no extra charges. Now you are trying to send me a $500 bill.

Finding a trailer was ridiculous! We had to drive two hours away just find the size we needed. The dispatcher was rude and snotty. She sent us to a store in West Des Moines that was supposedly to have one but when we got there they didn't so we literally took a two hour trip for nothing very dissatisfied with uhaul in general.

The truck and tow dolly looked good when I picked them up but 3 hours into my drive the tow dolly broke down and has to be replaced in Moline, IL. The break down causes damage to the car being towed so I will be reporting an incident.
Everything worked great with the truck.

Our first choice where we could get a 10 ft truck (and we did reserve it) in Waukee IA did not show up after giving him 20 min heads up phone call like instructed. Place was creepy and no one around so had to go to Adel site. Had to get a larger truck than desired due to time constraints and they didnt have what we needed (10 ft) and knew that per phone call. For the Waukee guy not responding, we were unhappy with the situation. Adel was nice though and we got out of there quickly to get on with the out of state move. Would not recommend the Waukee site.

The place was closed and I had to drop it off and check out on line which was pretty simple and convenient. I didn't like that it cost me $20 but I would have know that if I had read all the fine print in the contract.

I did the drop off at night and really had no contact with anyone, but they did close my account out with quick. I would recommend more lighting in the drop off area. Easy to get to and easy to drop off.
