This place is a scam! I bought the $10 insurance like I always do. When I got in the van I noticed the sun visor was a little cracked so I didn't touch it. When we returned the van, the guy bishop said we had damaged it and charged us the $150 deductible for the insurance. Seems like he took advantage of the fact that I had purchased the insurance. I absolutely did not damage the sun visor. And the time before that I rented from this place, they charged me an extra $100 because we didn't do the online check in when we returned the van. We rent uhaul vans often and never have problems. But This place is always over charging!!

This location charged me 81 miles I did not drive! I had a video of the milage out before I took the vehicle time stamped 1 min after my contract was printed and the rep told me I was lying about the milage and charged me anyway. I filed a complaint with customer service they said I have to wait 72 hours for the field manager to address it! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN ALL OF RETAIL! Even with proof of my miles in video they over charged me!

Though it has nothing to do with the pick up location, Uhaul allowed me to set up a rental for a trailer at a particular location and then moved that pick up location to another pick up point an hour away. The trailer they said was available was one that was to heavy by their standards at the original pick up location. So, Uhaul doesn't know where their equipment is if they allowed me to rent one type of trailer, and it wasn't the one at the location we had agreed upon, and didn't have a solution to this problem, and surely no discount for my incovenience.

The U-haul employee name Bishop was very rude and over charging me on gas, and when I got the truck the gas Cap was the off and gas was spilling out the truck, I didn't realize till people was yelling to tell me, I told him about it and his response was something in the truck should have alarted me and it didn't, so he said he was gone call and report it, but call me a few minutes telling I have to pay for it and he waved late fee, but when I told him I was going to call haul corporate, he got mad a said he was gone charge me for an extra day on the truck, in that case he should've let me kept the truck.

If you don't check the vehicle back in, they WILL charge you extra days even if you returned it well in time because they don't have people there on the weekends.

They really helped me out of a jam! I had rented a truck with Budget, trying to save a few bucks, and when I showed up to the Budget location they did not have my vehicle. They tried to rent me a beat up van that was probably for local deliveries only, when I was driving almost 600 miles one way. I went on the U-Haul website and saw that a 10' Truck was available at Mt. Moriah. I called to verify, made my reservation, and had my truck in less than 30 minutes. It was very clean, low mileage, and the insides had been sanitized. The man who rented it to me (I am sorry I did not catch his name) was super kind and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend renting your next U-Haul from them!

I hate this location with a passion! The guy who runs this place is very unpleasant and unprofessional! I don't understand why they would change my reservation to this location one hour before i was to pick up from the Choctaw location! I will not be renting from this location EVER again!!!

There was a lot of confusion and unnecessary driving around to get my equipment and to get answers/help on how to use the car tow. The lack of communication on Uhaul's end made this experience very stressful and unnecessarily frustrating. It took me from 9 am to about 7 pm to get everything I needed. Not pleased at all with the experience. The locations mentioned in this review were fine, but the others, which are not included, were not helpful at all.

The owner was very disrespectful. He continued to call and harass my husband and I even after we told him we were headed there . An error on his behalf at the time of pick up after he notified me that there was an e alert and under my name that was cleared he left the premises before we were able to get the truck , afterward he returned about 4 hrs later after our reservation we sat on the phone with multiple U-Haul people who attempted to figure out what he had done to create the issue . The alert was removed 5 minutes after he pulled off he did not have patience to see this matter through upon his return he failed to acknowledge i was still there even after i walked up to him to describe that something was wrong and needed to be corrected because we were unable to get our truck . He walked away and went to service other customers who were male and ignored my request he then walked past me and looked back and stated i needed to sit in his waiting room after he served individuals who pulled up hours after me . I waited an hour and i believe he still wouldn't have attended to me if it wasn't for one of the customers stating i had been there long before them and he needed to wait on me . He even argued with them stating i had to wait I was upset because i was three hours late for a pick up He did not update our pick up time when he finally handed over the keys and also charged us for the safe move even though i declined . My original file should show that He called my husband threatening to call the police because we were in a stolen truck even though we were less than 30 min past the time . He did not have any respect for us and spoke to us and such a rude manner when i dropped th U-Haul off i made sure to inform him that i would be reporting him and no longer coming to his location . He then stated he didn't care and that he would make sure i was never able to get another U-Haul again, he said he was independently owned and “they” couldn't do anything to him . I have rented U-Haul nearly every week or two for the past few months due to my business needs . But i am not only disappointed but hurt that i was treated like this as a customer after I've spent thousands with the company

There should be an option for different rental hours. Sometimes you just need rental 2-3 hours to accomplish a task that you otherwise cannot do with your vehicle. I am sure such an option would bring in more renters

Mt. Moriah Baptist Church is not in the safest area of town. That fact, coupled with the hour and a half it took for our verification to go through so we could pick up the truck leads me to never want to use or recommend U-Haul again. For starters, why can't the verification process and all the info they require not be given beforehand (we ordered the rental truck the day before). I had issues with the automated system returning the truck as well. It was a terrible experience overall.

The check in process took a lot of time and the U-haul website and app is not friendly user at all. Although I did the check in online before I arrive, we had to do the same process again at the office. Also, I could do the return process by myself, everytime I select my location, U-haul app was not able to detect my location. Also, I had no choice to enter my return location ,manually. So, I had to just put the keys inside the box beside your u-haul office. I think your u-haul app needs major modeification to make it much easier and more efficient. Another comment is that, following your confirmation text, I went to pick up the truck from 1260 Florida street at 9 am July 2. However, the requested car "26 feet" was no available there and I had to go to another location "7605 Tom drive" to pick up the vehicle. I think you u-haul app should be more accuate. Gracias
