Gerald DThis site charged me cleaning fees of $50.00 on two different returns when i personally had cleaned both vehicles out myself. He didn't have the photos to show for it, and when i showed him mine he just plain denied it.
Gurjit MI was charged for extra mileage(it was from Grover beach to Kelseyville with no extra charge) and for cleaning fees(truck was submitted clean) after i had dropped off the Haul at the location, without my knowledge; only learnt of it on the Uhaul site later; This vendor has done a similar charge the last time my girlfriend returned a Uhaul and when asked for the explanation, the vendor didn't give any. There was nothing supposed to be due at the drop off both times.I would like a response from Uhaul on this practice.
Gurjit MI wasn't able to get a truck from the local U-Haul shop so I had to drive 14 miles out of my way to get a truck. The lady who called me said it would be a one way truck but when I got to the other U-Haul shop, I was told it wasn't a one way truck and I had to return it where I picked it up, meaning it was going to cost me extra dollars for the return plus the extra gas I had to put it. Not a big deal but if you quote one way, it should be one way.

Mark MI received excellent customer service from Mt. Konocti Truck and Auto Rpr. The young man who I picked the truck up from, Kyle was very helpful and could not have been nicer. When I returned the rental, the owner Mike was equally as good. I highly recommend these folks for truck rental!

Brandi CInitially I had made arrangements (months in advanced) to pick up a trailer in Ukiah. 2 days before scheduled pickup, I was told that the only trailer available was in Kelseyville. I had to travel an additional 85 miles to pickup. Not good customer service. Although Kelseyville location had great customer service. Mike was the greatest!

Raymond SThe truck was the wrong truck keys and number. I was never told to check the truck out on the app and we lost several hours of moving time because of this. Additionally I was unable to check the truck in on the app due to the mix up with the keys. I'm sure the other customer had the same problem with their truck! Very very disappointing.

Merrilyn YI ended up being charged much more than originally discussed. Departments do not communicate with each other. Every time I try to address something I would call somewhere and get forwarded to other departments that could not communicate with each other. It was extremely frustrating. The location was not open in the corporate office was not even aware so it was very difficult to pick up the vehicle. I don't have another hour to spend on the phone to try to get my money back. I will not be using you all again if I can help it.

Pat DThe website for self check out was frustrating, the steps were unclear, and it felt like a long process. The truck was dirty, damaged, and the check engine lites came on. Our moving blankets that we paid for were also not in the truck.
Scott FI have worked with numerous U-haul franchises this season and Mike at Kelseyville Truck and Auto stands out above all the others for the level of service he and his staff provide. The trucks are always clean and ready to go when I arrive, and the paperwork only takes a few minutes. I give Kelseyville Truck and Auto 5 stars and my highest recommendation.
Pat DI would not recommend it due to its locale only -unless going to/from that area. For us, it was extra 4 hr round trip out of the way because that’s the closest place our needed vehicles were. Otherwise, it was an excellent place.

eric lCorporate customer service was terrible. Truck not available the day of pick up without a two hour drive. CS rep was snarky and had an attitude and was overall horrible to deal with. Pay $300 worth of extra gas but get offered a $50 rebate. Great. Go with penske or whoever else. U-Haul is cheap for a reason.

I told her that because I'm handicapped I got them shipped to me .I was told about a 1 time charge for the dolly as well. She quoted a price. Today the owner said he dont want my boxes cause I didnt buy them from him.i said what am I going to do..he said he didn't care he doesn't want them and dont use his recycle bin either. We stuffed over 200.00 worth of boxes in my car and trunk. And now there in a storage shed. I moved 30 miles .3 trips over 5 days. 489.00 and paid 5x for the dolly and higher milage....20 cents higher because I didnt get it to him .very abrupt person. He may own the company but he doesn't belong in customer service.
