A secure, u haul marked drop box should be available. No drop box for key. We went to the office and heard yelling and a child came out to tell us they were not open until noon and to just leave the key on the desk!

Dan CohanGet there 2:00. PM!!! Still in her PJ’s. Drive was an off-road course through 2 feet of snow from days ago. I had to shovel out the trailer. And unload it by hand into another trailer 30’ away through the snow. If I wasn’t desperate I would never have paid to rent the uhaul. Not only did I pay I had to work to get it.

PATRICK PJ BRISCOEMs Kitty's is fine. Uhaul is HORRENDOUS to deal with. I rent trucks 4x a month for work and I have never had my truck available, hassle-free, no matter how far in advance I make my reservations or how many people confirm my rental. I have been told each and every time AT THE LAST MINUTE that my truck is not available. There are 4 rental locations in my area and I still can't count on a vehicle. The system is totally screwed up and unreliable. If I didn't desperately need these trucks for work, I would never ever use uhaul again.
suzanne StrazzaArrived at 9:00 a.m., the advertised opening time. On one was around and the whole entrance area looked like a pig sty. At 9:10 a.m., I finally called the 1-800 number and was told to go ahead and drop the trailer off. When I received my U-Haul receipt, a $20.00 "After Hours Service Fee" has been added. WHAT A RIP-OFF!!! This place needs to be shut down and the equipment transferred to a reputable dealer!!

Taylor PendleyMy only issue was not being able to find the key. I opened the lockbox as instructed and no key was placed in it. I tried to go to the office but no one was present. I did find it on the passenger seat after checking the truck cab. I was only delayed for a few moments, and they did make the truck, and key lockbox easy to access and find. They were friendly on the phone when I called to confirm.
Haley MaddenThe computer equipment the dealership had was sub par at best. I ended up standing there trying to rent the trailer for an hour. I've rented u-haul before and it takes like 15/20 minutes, I almost just left frustrated.

michael poulosI really appreciate the help in returning my uhaul truck to this location. I was supposed to return it to a different location, but found this one much closer to me and open on Sunday. It was a relief to get the truck turned in so quickly.

Dan MorrisKit is welcoming and friendly! She did inform us that we drove all the way with the wrong trailer tires, which obviously isn’t our fault, but I’m glad she noticed and made note of it so it can be corrected! That kind of attention to detail is commendable! She also welcomed us to town, gave us some tips on local spots to check out, and some gardening advice! We also really appreciated the way she had the trailers parked. It made pulling ours in to drop it off easy and safe!

BILL BAIKIEDriver's door wouldn't shut without slamming it four times and they were aware of it when they rented it to me, but didn't tell me. Told me it had a ramp, it didn't. After using it, I washed it, cleaned the cab, swept the floor and filled the tank until the pump wouldn't pump any more gas into it and they still charged me 7.50 for "fuel". When i left the truck, the fuel line was above full. I drove it 4 miles and put $10 gas in, and they still charged me.
Cindy SimpsonThis location was very confusing trying to figure out where to park/pick up my rental key. I completed the online check-in (due to Covid-19 precautions) but there wasn't a box to pick up my key; the online check instructed me to go to a key box. The woman that worked at the office seemed confused as to why I was there, even though it was during my scheduled appointment time. She also mentioned that key box wasn't on 24/7, but I thought that was the point in having the self check in? She was very nice, but things did not go very efficiently. Even with checking in online, it still took me a total of 30 minutes to obtain my key. Returning was quick and easy though. Given the circumstances of the current pandemic, I feel like that is why my experience was only average. But the location would benefit from more signage though.

Doug MCGUIREThe U-Haul website (I have a screen shot) said that this location was a 24 hour return. I saw the contract had a note to phone when we got into Durango, so I did. No answer. I went through the procedures to return the truck (after a long day) and started to search for a drop box. There was none. I phoned the return number and left a message. No answer. I phoned UHaul. I was on hold for 35 minutes. They figured out there was no drop box. We could not wait for the location to open in the morning to return as we had to be at the airport. They finally figured out there was no drop box on site. After an extended discussion, UHaul did send me an email that I was authorized to leave the key in the truck with one door unlocked. Make sure the details of the locations (24 hour access) is correct. I had a problem after the next to last step in the return. How about a priority for answering those calls or more people trained to deal with the issue.
