Everything went smoothly and checking out rental truck was a quick process and all info was simple, direct and accurate. Thankful even though arriving 15 mins before closing, the customer service representative was friendly and very helpful, took time to explain everything & gave clear instructions and the price was great! I did try downloading the App but I wasn't successful on my side, no fault of UHaul. Even without the App to help with reserving/CheckIn&Out it still was a relatively quick process even with several customers there at the same time. The customer service agent was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He would not tell me how much I was being charged on my return which I thought was odd. Then I heard him outside talking about extra charges for cleaning. I looked in the back and saw a few leaves in the trailer so I told him let me clean it out. He said no it was too late. At this point I asked him what the hell his problem was because he had been acting bizarre and his customer service was awful. At this point he started screaming at me that I was banned from Uhaul. This person clearly does not like working in customer service and in my opinion should not be working at all.Marshall S.
Communication was very poor I was given incorrect information a had a one way and was told I can drop off in the area where I was moving to only find out they picked 3 different locations which where all closed than I was told to take it to Schmit towing which closed at 4:30 and when I was given that information it was after 5pm so I had to keep the U-Haul for an extra day and was charged for it after I had to take it to 3 different locations that was closed I asked a lady by the name of Sammie to add extra miles so I didn't be charged she was very rude I asked to speak with a manger because after three locations and no extra miles for sending to places she should have known was closed was very upsetting she hung up in my face, laughed talked to me very disrespectful about how it's not her fault those places where closed I never got a chance to talk to a manger she said she was in charge and I would love for someone in CORPORATE to give me a call at this point I don't wanna talk to anyone from the office she works inNaomi J.

Trying to return this truck after hours was a RIDICULOUS COMEDY OF ERRORS. Taking photos to verify mileage, gas and cleanliness of truck is required thru the uhaul app, but THE APP FAILED TO TAKE PHOTOS. After several attempts and even restarting the app, the app continued to fail to take photos. So I left a note stating the problem in the drop box with the keys. THAT NOTE WAS IGNORED. Next, I tried to contact uhaul to report the problem thru the email address provided. The email came back to me as undeliverable. I WAS PROVIDED A FAKE EMAIL TO HANDLE COMPLAINTS. After 2 phone calls this morning, the only answer I received was WE'LL LOOK INTO IT. Oh goody, that's reassuring.CA R.
I was a little put off by the representative castigating me for not uploading my driver's license prior to pick up. I have rented from U-Haul several times and representatives are fine capturing a photo at the pick up time without admonishing me for "not following instructions." . I would have expected a little understanding about the reluctance to upload my drivers' license online. I was also very frustrated with the use of the app when I dropped off the vehicle (well before it was due). The app's insistence on getting a location before proceeding was just silly. Of course I am dropping the truck off in the right spot - it's where I picked it up! Because I couldn't figure out how to re-set all my phone and browser location settings to the app's satisfaction, I couldn't proceed and wound up paying the $20 extra. That's the kind of annoyance that I will be sharing with others to discourage them from using U-Haul. Tom PetersenTom P.

Clean the inside of the cab! It looked as if it had never been cleaned! Two of us spent a good half hour scrubbing with disinfectant wipes and they were black! Also, had to go to a different location in Plymouth to pick up moving blankets as this location had none and said they were not on my reservation, which they were. I spent 30 minutes scraping snow and ice off the entire truck. The store new what time I was going to be there and could have started it up so it got warm and defrosted the ice. The truck also didn't have a scrapper and I had to use mine.HUMBERTO M.

The men here were very rude and condescending. I was given a dirty van and then chastised by Steve for not cleaning the previous renters mess. He said it was my responsibility to clean since I had accepted the rental and he was going to charge me for cleaning. I told him on the check in I had taken pictures and he said that did not matter, he said that it was my responsibility to clean and future renters should not be responsible because I did not clean the other renters mess. He said that in the spirit of Thanksgiving he would clean it and told me to leave. It was very odd. I know this is not the usual policy for Uhaul and I would recommend that this Tire Shop not be representatives of your company.LORENE I.

The online check in process needs work. I took pictures of my DL and submitted but when got to the pick up location I had to do so again. I also was not advised that I would have to use a lock box to retrieve keys for the truck. Then had to call customer service to get access, only to find out the location keeps the keys and that they are not in the lockboxs. Customer service rep was very nice and helpful. Technician at the location provided me with the keys to the truck but due to the lengthy check in time and mis information I didn't actually begin my rental until 20 minutes after my rental start time. I wont use the "share a truck" option again if I need to rent a truck.Heather C.

I was told it is fine if I get the van back on Sunday before my due time and just drop the keys in the box. I was back before my due time and since they checked in the next morning, I was charged for two days even though I returned it within 24 hours. When they themselves told me it was ok to return on Sunday and they'll just charge for one day, still they were not careful while checking my rental back in.
