Jacob WalwerAll employees should tell the customer the same information no matter what state they are in! I was told I’d get a partial refund for turning the truck in a day and a half early plus I was under the mileage by 42 miles and plus a deposit and I didn’t get any refund! I’m so upset! I drove one way from Louisville Kentucky to Bloomington Illinois abt 300 miles one way trip and I’m disappointed in the company over being down this way! I’ve made this same trip the same way at least 4-6 times in the last 10 years and it’s never costed me this much through UHaul! I usually only pay about $350-$370 plus gas! I only had the truck for abt 20-22 hours! SMH :( :( :(
Tara GibsonI would say that you need to give us some money back a little bit more than what you gave us on the time you had us pick it up at nine and he didn’t open up until 10 but I brought the truck back at three and I would rather you know seeing some appreciation about it or something out of this Just have management need to be a little better at the facility
Michele JohnsonThis was second location I HAD TO GO TO. fIRST WAS A MOM AND POP GROCERY THAT COULD NOT ACCEPT 26 FT TRUCK. THEY SENT ME TO 2700 DIXIE HWY. NOT MUCH BETTER SMALL CAR REPAIR SHOP. THEY DID TAKE TRUCK BUT AFTER 20 MINUTTES OF PHONE CALL AND WEB REQUESTS FROM UHAUL. DO NOT TURN IN 26 FT TRUCKS TO SMALL BUSINESSES. jERRY bABIN
Jerry BabinThe staff was very kind and quick with service. I did the return through my app so I cannot speak to that. My frustrations lie with U-haul in general. I made the reservation at a different location and upon arrival was told the vehicle wasn't available, but they could offer a more costly option. The staff at the original location offered to call around and found this one. However, it was farther away from my starting location and much farther from my destination. I selected the original pick up spot based on location since I have to pay mileage. Not to mention the delays cost me more money in staffing because the change in location delays took about 2 hours, so I was paying people to wait on equipment to arrive. I have another vehicle reserved next month and I'm leery, wondering if I will have the equipment and what the cost will actually be.

Judith WilsonThe owner of Mr. Good tech was great! The process was easy and the truck we wanted was available. Uhaul, however, should update the information on their site about this location; this place does not open until 10am. If you have an earlier appointment, you will most likely not get the truck until opening time. We were lucky and the owner was there at 9am and helped us out. Five stars to him!

JAMES STEWARDMy issue was with U haul. By phone I was given a time & location. Then given a different one via text. Originally told I could pick up van at 8am, then it was changed to 8:30, then 9. The pick up location didn’t even open until 10am. What a mess and waste of time.

JESSICA SMITHThe inside of the building was dirty, hot and infested with flies. I ordered an appliance dolly and when I got there they told me someone else hasn’t brought it back it. Went to drop off during business hours and no one was there.
Mercedes HaleThat location was terrifying. I just figured I'd be picking up my UHAUL from a corporate UHAUL location. The website just defaulted to the closest one. When I pulled up, I wanted to turn around, but I wasn't sure if I'd be charged for the truck reservation so I went in anyway. It was truly scary in there. No overhead lighting. It reeked of drugs. A big portion of the room had all this broken weird stuff and old food. Every surface was disgusting and sticky. I was half sure the location was a front for luring in and robbing people. The employee that checked me out gave me the truck keys was super nice and friendly! I just don't think a location that sketchy should be renting out UHAULs to people. I really did feel I was unknowingly kind of lured into a dangerous situation I was not comfortable with.

DIANE HOWARDI was referred to this location by the extremely rude owner of the Uhaul location on 405 Mac Brae Rd. Upon arrival, I was confused on where I was supposed to park (you’re supposed to park at a closed down gas station next to the building). You then have to navigate a packed car lot to enter the cluttered and dirty lobby of the building. Guy who made my reservation was friendly. He told me that there would be $219 hold placed on my debit account and got me the key. At this point, I thought the $219 hold was routine and was only expecting to pay the advertised cost of $29.99 for the U haul truck. When I returned the truck on time, imagine my surprise when I was told that my bill would be $85! When I asked for a price breakdown, I was informed by a different guy that on top of the $29.99 for the truck… I had been opted into a $14 insurance coverage plan and had been charged .99 cents per mile (for a total of 29 miles). Obviously, I feel ripped off since none of these “fees” were explained to me until after the fact. To make matters worse… I later learned from reading an invoice… that the reason why the $219 hold was placed on my account was because the estimated cost of the trip was $190!!!! That is something that definitely should have been brought upfront because the thought hadn’t crossed my mind that it would be anywhere near that much! In summary, my complaint is that no fees were discussed with me upfront. I was just handed the truck keys and later hit with the bill. That is not how you run a business. Customers deserve to know what they are getting themselves into! It only takes a minute to do so.
