Truck cab was dirty, left over food items under the seat. Had issues with the app and mobile browser that caused us to be over an hour behind schedule. Only thing to show the Start Your Pickup button was to use an Ipad with data. Truck also did not include any of the requested items that I paid for.

Moisel GonzalezThe only negatives to this experience was the amount of information required to rent a trailer. You needed to know exactly which vehicles would be used as the pulling vehicle and the load vehicle on the trailer. I was also required to give the names and phone numbers of two people U-Haul could contact in the event I didn't return the trailer. Seemed a bit excessive. Took far longer to answer questions and look up names and phone numbers of add'l people than it did to hook up and leave with the actual trailer. And that included the lady being required to come back out to take several pictures to make sure I'd hooked up the trailer properly. The procedure to bring the trailer back was also a little wonky. I was told to just drop it off at the agreed upon time the following day when done with it, but noticed when I was unhooking it there was a QR code to scan to return it on a sticker on the trailer tongue. I'd paid when I picked it up, but following the prompts on the online app, after scanning the QR code to return it, I was prompted to pay for it again with no apparent option to select saying I'd already paid for the rental, so I didn't follow through with the online check-in. Then I later received a call from a regional manager asking if I'd dropped it back off and wanting to know roughly what time I'd dropped it off. There should either be an online option to check it in without paying for the rental again or should be a different way to return it that doesn't attempt to double-charge a customer. The lady that took care of all of the paperwork, directed me to the trailer, and took the hookup pictures was easy to work with and handled all of this in a professional manner, so despite those negatives, I would rent from her again in the future. She was the part of this situation that made this an acceptable experience.

Jim MyhrwoldThe uhaul dealer was closed for drop off this last Sunday. The vehicle was returned with the same amount of fuel as when I picked it up and I was charged an extra day for turning it in online 2 hours later.
John RainboltThe 24/7 check in process was very difficult for me. I was sitting in my car right in front of the window of the building and it kept saying I was at the wrong location so I got out and went right next to the lock box it still didn't work I tried for almost an hour. I ended up calling customer service and got help the owner showed up and helped which was great and very much appreciated thank you.

Emily PetersonDirt y windshield. Got charged for 3 days. Only used truck for 46 hours. Refund was applied. Interesting situation as site is closed Saturday and Sunday. Ideal for one-way rentals I guess but not for weekend movers. 15ft truck got decent MPG. Perhaps when returning truck, take a pic with a time stamp. All in all a good move.
Mark SecristNo one available to properly hook up trailer. Customer should not be responsible for securing a trailer to a hitch. Heavy lifting can cause a health risk and should be taken into account.

mark sommerfeldtMorgan Collision was excellent. The owner came when the shop was closed to help me because U-Hauls mobile pickup is a joke. The mobile pickup did not work, and I wouldn’t have been able to get the truck without Morgan Collisions assistance. Uhaul needs to update its mobile pickup as it does not work. Uhaul customer service Debbie was unhelpful and rude when called for assistance. Morgan Collision was great!

Michael BoumaHad a reservation for a different location and showed up and the trailer was not available. Found another trailer at this location and when I showed up, trailer was ready and I was asked if I needed help hooking it up and I responded that I did not as i have used trailers most my life. After connecting the trailer myself (which is no problem) I stood up and the attendant was gone. No help in checking the lights or safety check. It was cold out sure... but unprofessional. Most disappointing rental from U-Haul for me out of many.

PAUL FUNKThe self checkin service through U-Haul was not user friendly in that it would not work through Safari on my phone and I needed to download the app but then when downloading the app it wouldn’t let me sign in and my account wouldn’t work.

JOSEPH FRIEDENSince this location is normally closed for most of the weekend, there should be an email address tied to this location in order to send proof that a trailer or rental vehicle was dropped off on time. Although the site handled my transaction correctly, I think this would help prevent any confusion in the future.

Judy MueckeI dropped off the rental after they were closed for the weekend. Later, I found out part of my order came up as ‘not yet returned,’ and the staff at this drop off location made sure part of my order was correctly marked as “returned.”

Aislinn KlarichWe rented a 6 x 12 trailer and drove it about 1200 miles. One of the tires was almost smooth. We felt that could of been dangerous if we would of just hit something on the road. Should of probably been replaced before we drove that far.

Peter NeeWe reserved a truck in SIOUX CITY 3 weeks before our move. I am called 1 day before our pick up and am informed the truck needs to be picked up in Sheldon, IA one hour away!!!!! Needless to say we where NOT HAPPY. Then I get home and we were charged TWICE!! Long story but again NOT HAPPY!!!! Then my husband accidentally locked the Key in the truck. We purchased roadside assistance so I called the number. The agent said LOCKOUTS WERE NOT COVERED!!! YOU BETTER READ YOUR WEBSITE!!!! WE WANT REIMBURSEMENT AS WE PAID FOR THIS OURSELVES. WE NEED CORPORATE OFFICE TO COVER US ASAP!!!

Dennis MurphyI delivered the truck on Sunday when they weren't open. I called 888.793.5001 before I delivered the truck to verify everything. I explained the air conditioning didn't work for my trip and he said "oh sorry" and didn't seem to give a shit. He texted me a link to take pictures of the mileage, fuel level and appliance dolly and blankets. When I got to the location to drop the truck, the link didn't work. I called the number again and talked to a gal who help be try a couple things without success. She said she would make a note in my record so I wouldn't be charged the $20 fee. Very helpful, Thank you.

KIMBERLY REEVESWith current Uhaul company-wide processes, the size one needs may not be at smaller rural locations when needed. However, the company and location was flexible with us when our original move date fell through and ended up working in our favor that the size we needed became available at our preferred pick up. Otherwise we could have been driving 50+ miles to pick up our desired size.
