Check in process via over the phone is time consuming. Should be able to do some of the items, id, face pictures, contact info, before hand so your not standing around in a parking lot fumbling for your wallet.

It kept saying that it was 2023 which would not have let me rent the vehicle. I tried several times to correct it to no avail. Gregg MOur u haul van was not street legal and extremely dangerous. The speedometer was fault showing we were going significantly slower that we were. (Showed 18mph when friend following us was doing 45mph). The brake lights did not work, and the blinkers didn't work either. The van needed an alignment and was off significantly. The reverse beep was broken as well. Very dangerous to be on the road.

Joe CApp did not allow me to submit photos after the one picture of the dashboard or confirm anything about my return. I noted that there was a light on the dash that was on the whole time, but it never gave me the opportunity to say which light (It was a picture of a trailer, but I wasn't hauling a trailer). It was on when I got in and stayed on the whole day. It refreshed halfway through and said I did not have a truck to return. I have the picture of the cab and the back of the truck as well as the picture of the truck in the drop off location, but I can't submit them. The truck was returned on Saturday evening, but I was charged for Sunday as well. For all I know, the only verification that I returned the truck at all is that it's in the lot and the key is in their drop box, but no one will see it until Monday because that's when they open. Your virtual pick-up and drop off system is seriously flawed and I will never use it again. If I can avoid U-Haul period, I will. This was a traumatic experience. I will probably have to call around on Monday to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Mark MThe owner Steve was great! The truck was not! It was filthy! Black grime all over the inside of the cab! We were filthy just from sitting in the cab. The glass was broken over the odometer and gages. The windshield wipers were coming apart and did not work. Bugs splattered all over the windshield! Had to stop to clean the window! Gas tank on Empty!! Wish I could share the pictures!!!!

James HI'd recommend this location if you're in a pinch and really need a rental and have nowhere to turn. The trucks condition was subpar, the interior was disgusting and gross. While driving, the engine felt like it was about to blow up. But those are all things you expect from a rental. The bothersome part was that I used the truck for 41 miles, after I was done I filled up 4.5 gallons or $15 worth. The needle was now where it was when I Rented the truck. Do the math, that's $3.33/gallon. After I returned the truck I received an email with the invoice and I was charged $20 for gas, or 4 gallons worth, aka $5/gallon. What kind of rip off is this?
Ivan RI had an 8 am reservation. The location was not open at 8 am and I had to wait until 8:20 for the shop to open, The truck was not clean. The cab had dirt on the floor boards and the cab had clearly not been cleaned. I received no direction on how to operate the vehicle.

LUIS CThe van I rented had a crack across the entire windshield. That didn't exactly make me feel good about driving it. The owner said it was hard to get someone to fix things lately. I do believe that is a really important item to have in good condition! Also, the light went on to alert you that the rear tire needed air. Again, the owner said it was a sensor that wasn't working and that the air was fine. Didn't know this until I returned. The location is convenient and I would give him another try. I know now more questions to ask.

Everson AMy pickup location was changed but no attempt was made to contact me. I requested counter pickup but was directed to a location that only had self-serve. The online checkout process didn't work and an IT specialist had to make backend changes to allow me to access the truck. The moving blankets I paid for were not in the vehicle. A truly bad customer experience all around.
Steven MThere was an issue with the app. It had trouble recognizing my driver's license, and took a long time to accept it. I didn't get my rental until 20 to 30 minutes past the time that I ordered it.
Keith KApp did not work when returning the truck. Called customer support and the wait time was an hour. Also, I requested a dolly and did not receive it but was charged for it.
Roberto HFront window had a huge crack. If I didn't really have to move something yesterday I certainly would not have used this van. Very dangerous. Also if I have to use an app to get the van why would I not use the app to return the van. Following a link in an email is just very confusing.
