Although this was a twenty four hour drop off there was little signage to help. We had trailer and therefore no keys to drop. So no verification. I called next day for confirmation and was told although person had no idea about the traits returned they would call back only if there was s problem. A little disconcerting but I guess that is Montana!

The only bright spot in an otherwise miserable experience with U-Haul

The facility was easy to find and easy to get in and out of. The facility closes at 4 pm and I got there about 3:30 pm expecting to go through the check out process. But the person who does that part had already left for the day. It seems like someone should be on hand to verify the truck was returned in proper condition and sign for it or something. The rest of this is may not necessarily apply to to drop off location itself, but more toward the way Uhaul works in general. I found the process of getting my drop off location assigned to be a little cumbersome and very vague. I needed to drop off the truck in a specific location that was within walking distance to where my car was parked. First I was told by the scheduling department that I could only request a drop off location with no guarantees of getting it because it depends on what the inventory needs are around town. This does not seem like it should be the customer's problem. A customer should be able to drop off or pick up a truck at their desired location and if the inventory needs to be moved around town then Uhaul should coordinate things to accommodate. Later I was told that I could choose my drop off location when I did the online express check in. This was not the case. When I called about it at that time, I was told I would choose my drop off location when I picked up the truck. Again, this was not the case, and I was told to call the scheduling department when I reached my destination. It seems like Uhaul could do a little improvement with regard to making things more streamlined, efficient and convenient for their customers' needs. And also have clearer communication about the process.

It was a nightmare getting the remote after hours puck up. The uhaul site wouldn't let me create a login to pick it up. We had to have my drive log on. This caused a multitude of problems a couple days later as she basically hijacked the truck. Most if the phone reps were helpful with the exception of the Montana rep. Helpful would be each rep write detailed notes when a problem arises.

Took almost 40 minutes to just pick up the trailer. Trailer chains where too long and draggin, as well as rusted out.

Easy to locate the business, staff was friendly and helpful, service was professional and speedy which i really appreciated because I was running close to my next meeting! Thank you!
