Upon returning the truck the woman who was looking over was rude. She first insisted that I was under the proper gas amount and was going to charge me. I showed her the paper I received upon rental that showed the gas tank at half full and she insisted it was supposed to be 3/4. Then she proceeded to tell me she was going to charge me a cleaning fee if i didn't fold the blankets. So I folded the blankets. I return inside and she informs me I went over the included mileage for the rental. I was confused as we drove the truck directly from one location to the other- no other stops. A man named Ed became involved and he was nasty right from the start he went to “reverify” the mileage and I asked why would the company not include enough miles in the rental to get me from point A to B and he told me I should've asked for more mileage. This didn't make sense. Then he comes out and shoved his phone in my face saying that Medford is only 50 miles from Waterbury and I said I drove directly here from there so if 150 miles were included and I only drove 50 how could I have gone over the mileage. This man had terrible customer service skills basically telling me I was lying and that I needed to pay him the extra money. The woman who was initially rude began to calm. I believe she was realizing that I was not lying and there must've been an error on Medford's end. However they were still insisting I had to pay the difference of the mileage (40 cents per mile for 140 miles) they were telling me we put 300 miles on the UHaul. But we never drove it around so how can that be? I have never been treated so poorly by Themis company before I have moved several times across 3 different states and have always rented UHaul and now I will hesitate to patronize this company ever again after this stressful experience. Treated like a liar, expected to spend extra money I did not have just so they could “close out the rental” it was beyond unreasonable.

I appreciated the trailer being hitched to my vehicle with my permission. I felt that the walk-around inspection of the trailer was thorough. However, this was my first time renting a trailer and I didn't figure out how to latch the trailer doors open until after a door was caught by the wind and blown open during loading. No damage or issues, but I don't know how to secure open the doors at first.

I was contacted by text before returning the truck and that was very helpful. I had some difficulty using the return app (it kept crashing), but the Montambaults' texts to me allowed me to return the truck without issues. I appreciated the after hours text telling me that he would check the truck in the morning.

I only traveled 90 to 95 miles somehow the miles at my arrival point were 159 that just wasn't right I left from waterbury to Danielson the miles calculated were 87 so I left some miles for driving home even with that I know I didn't drive 159 miles that is a problem I think should be fixed

27 foot van was hard to steer probably because of a worn front end It wandered terribly it was not a windy day Brake warning lights going on and off Truck was reasonably clean Manager was very gruff when there was no reason for it It was like he had too many bad rental experiences I was glad to get the truck It did the job as needed but was a challenge it just could have been so much better with proper maintenance and a few less cups of coffee

The customer service was great. however I noticed there were additional charges I wasn't awarded of,a cleaning service in the amount of $50 and environmental fee. My preference in the near future before there's any hidden fees I would greatly appreciate a-least a call back n discuss these hidden fees.. Communication is everything ! Overall experience was great. Also due to the storm they were very understanding to allow me to have rental for a couple of days.. Great job! God bless n be safe n healthy.

The tank was not full upon pickup, it was about 7/8 full but the mobile pickup app wouldn't allow me to upload a photo of the gas level. When I dropped it off there was a query from the center about why I was returning the tank about 7/8 full. UHaul either needs to fix their app or the store employees need to check the gas tank level before the truck is driven away to avoid awkward moments like this for customers.

The employee Ed was knowledgable and friendly. I even called him on Sunday, his day off, to confirm i had checked the van back in correctly and he helped me and was courteous. I'll definitley use the services again from that location.

Professional and polite customer service. The van was clean and they did a good job of explaining where the accessories were located i.e. windshield wipers, lights, gas gauge, etc. Drop off was easy and they sent an adjusted bill the next day. Great rental experience for a fair price.

Needed a one way truck, had issues prior to getting the 15fr truck I used. Was not able to drop off where I needed the truck to be dropped off was forced to take the truck 3 hours back to where i moved from, as well as pay additional mileage, and gas for another vehicle. Overall very unhappy with this Uhaul experience. I have spent more money moving then I have ever had too using a uhaul.

They were excellent in terms of customer service and checking out the truck was a speedy process. Unfortunately, they don't sell boxes or other supplies and didn't have furniture pads. For this reason, I selected a Uhaul location, not a neighborhood location. I can't fault the location for doing their job, but Uhaul should have never reassigned by rental pickup. I have now had two disappointing experiences with Uhaul over the last two months. What's the point of making a reservation if it is very likely to change at the last minute? I received a call within 24 hours of my pickup to say they didn't have the truck size I reserved. They also said it was available at a different location than I selected. This is unacceptable. Uhaul should have the truck driven to my selected pick up location, not change it at the last minute. It meant stopping at a different location 30 minutes away and waiting in line for another hour or more to pay for boxes, rope, and furniture pads. The other location was horribly understaffed and in total disarray. I also paid for 2 dozen furniture pads but was only given 1 dozen, which we realized as we were folding them up post move. Uhaul loses a lot of its convenience when it adds several hours to the process, which cuts into moving time. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next move.

There was someone waiting for me outside when I drove up, and he showed where to park and what to do. Then Mr. Montambault himself was communicative and helpful - he allowed me to leave, saying that he'd call me later if there was an issue, when it became clear that this wouldn't be an easy check-out due to the blankets/dolly mix-up on the front end.

The truck could not be driven above 50, the steering was so bad, the truck would pull to the left. Any bump in the road the truck would veer left, very nerve racking. So maybe the vehicles should be checked better this was definitely a safety issue.

I rented a 20' truck and they let me take the truck with a 2 foot crack in the windshield. I rented another truck at Penske the same day and they wouldn't let me take a truck because it had a crack. Penske truck was much nicer.

This location was outstanding. My experience with U-Haul as a company was dismal. I made a reservation for a trailer at a certain location, and received confirmation. When I called that location to confirm, they had no record of my reservation. After calling 800 GOUHAUL, and waiting on hold for 45 minutes (!!!!) I was told my trailer was at a different location, and nobody knew why. When I picked up my trailer, we discovered that my wiring (installed by a different U-Haul location) had not been done correctly. In the end, we made it work, but sadly, it was a very frustrating experience.

The truck came without a lock. There is a mileage charge, which is not the case with Enterprise. The Truck has a bad gas acceleration.

A woman came out and was trying to direct us where to park. She was yelling and waving her hands when we knew clearly where to park. She was not friendly at all. The area is much nicer to drop off then the other location in Waterbury where traffic is congested.
