The van cabin was very dirty. I don't think it was sanitized. I was not comfortable driving a dirty vehicle. Uhaul must request customers to upload pictures of the cabin and the cargo area at the time of picking up the vehicle.Francis S.

The manager/customer service was rude Did not have the vehicle at 12:30 and 5-10 mins before he calls to come at 3 pm we were coming from far we couldn't go back and forth No sanitation or anything The truck was just returned and given to us When we went there the person who was their didn't even had mask on At one point they said wouldn't help us until they heard we are on line with uhaul The overall experience was really bad our moving got really delayed and we are not happy at all We will never come back to uhaulBilal O.

The fact that I had to scan my driver's licence was very disconcerting. Your company has no right to request a digital copy of my government issued ID. This is exactly how ID theft happens. I want my profile completely deleted from U-haul and I will not be using your services again. I would like a response email to conform my profile has been deleted as requested.STEVEN O.

Went to the first location, no keys. Called the customer service phone number listed on the reservation... 20' wait with a message saying that I should wait 5-10'. Meanwhile I used the chat and it took less time to reach an agent so I hung up the phone. April was useful but she gave us a second lock code... no car keys. Then a third lock code... still no car keys. THEN we had to go to another location... And the Uhaul system wasn't able to give us the code of any keys. We had April on the phone who did her best to help but unfortunately the Uhaul system on her side wasn't being cooperative. Went to a 3rd location and finally got things in order. It took 2h and 3 different locations while on the phone with April who by the way was very courteous and helpful so...good job to her. I thought the problem would stop there but when I came back to drop of the truck, there was no dropbox mailbox... I had to call again the customer service, wait on hold to then explain there was no mailbox and put a note in my file saying that I dropped of the keys where I originally got them. All in all, a 1h quick pick up, grab a dresser, drop of ended up taking us almost 4h. The experience was very frustrating to say the least. The after hour U'haul process needs some work done.Kevin L.

Parking lot. If you are not an experienced truck driver... it would be safer for U Hall location to reverse the trucks in as backing into a busy street is near impossible to get out.Donna P.

My rental was scheduled for 3pm on Good Friday. I happened to call the location at 11am to confirm where they were located. When I called I was informed that they would be closing at noon so I needed to come NOW to pick up my rental. I asked the gentleman if they were planning to call me to let me know they were closing early. His response â€˜well you're calling me now' ... if I hadn't called I likely would not have been able to get my moving truck that day. HORRIBLE!Keron B.
The return lock box situation is confusing at best. Having a key drop that requires a code but not providing it is about the dumbest hiking I could think of. I ended up having to wait a half hour to talk to customer service only to have them tell me to just tell me to put it in the insecure mailboxTroy T.

Waited on fuel refund before completing survey but obviously not getting one. Not using UHaul again. Way to costly. Similar moves with competitor were far less expensive and the inconvenience experienced was enough to permanently use competitor.PHILIP P.

The dolly required was not available - a substitution was available. The windshield was so dirty it was barely visible in bright sunlight and a hazard during driving. The check in and check out process was horrible.john F.
I did all online which was convenient, however received a call less than a week later telling me I had to return the truck to the location and that it would be half the cost but they would give me double the km. None of this happened I not only wasted my time after spending the day moving, had to drive nearly 50km back to the location they then proceeded to charge me not only more than half the cost but cost me nearly $150. Which I was really expecting for how sketchy the operation was. Very disappointed in U haul. If I every have to move again I will definitely be looking for alternatives.stacy S.

I booked a 20 foor truck to get my furniture picked up at 6 am at King street Oshawa and was waiting from 5.45 am but no response , we were waiting and then at 7 am we were asked to go to Ajax location and were not given 20 foot , so we had to do two trips and had to pay extra. Fount inside window was filthy. Vehicle was from USA so it was in miles not KM so price was different. Did not like that had to do everything on line at store. Older generation does not use data on there phones and you have to scan your drivers license on line. Did not get a copy of receipt said it would be emailed but came as a text.Glenn L.
The experience was great and the rental process easy to follow. Great use of technology to complete a simple task. I wasn't sure if my price would be adjusted based on km usage before the billing. Perhaps I missed reading that clause, otherwise that may be added.Sami O.

Easily found the location on Harwood Avenue in Ajax. Owner was very personable, helpful & friendly. Truck was clean & well maintained. Owner actually gave me a better deal then what was originally quoted. Overall, great experience. I will definitely rent from here again & refer my friends.Peter C.

The U-Haul operator did his best to try and resolve several technical issues that slowed down my rental. It took 45 minutes of troubleshooting before I could leave with the equipment I had reserved online. I wasted my time and the time of a friend who'd come to help me move.
