I tried to return the trailer at a different location due to the hurricane. To prevent me from driving in unpleasant weather in the direction of the hurricane Ian. Was denied the opportunity to do so and had to jeopardize risking it. Power was out throughout the area when I arrived due to hurricane weather. Unfortunately I turned it in. I did call before hand to see if it was possible. They insisted I still needed to return it at that location or I would be charged extra. Thankfully I was not in a accidentTAMARKION B.

I originally reservered a pickup truck on Sept 13 for pickup on Saturday, Sept 17. When I got to the Exxon at Irving Park 1820 Battleground ave in Greensboro, NC they said they did not have a pickup truck. When the owners called U-Haul their system said they had 2 in inventory. But the owner said they don't have any in inventory. The U-Haul representive that the owner was speaking to said I had to go to Monarch Auto Sales, 4519 W Market St to get a Van. Whats the point of reserving a pickup truck if you can't get one. The closest pickup was in Winston Salem, 30 miles away. If you need to rent a truck find some other business other than U-Haul.Harold M.

The left turn signal was out. Plastic over speedometer broken and jagged. Equipment was clean, just not maintained. Above average rating because they were well staffed at check in. Pleasant. But shorthanded when I returned it (all at lunch together?). So I wasn't able to tell anyone about the issues with vehicle.Teter L.

My first interaction with this location was a call to see if the equipment I needed was available. I did not get her name but she had the best customer focused I have seen in a long time. When I came in to rent my equipment, the fellow on the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The manager on duty was there and also very friendly and helpful.LONNIE C.

I received 3 defective trucks with check engine lights. It took an hour before I received a decent one. They attempted to count their failure against my time and then charged me $60 in fuel when I got a truck with a quarter tank of gas and I only had the truck for 3 hours. I was billed $195 for a truck that felt like the transmission was failing it was moving horribly slow, barely went the speed limit and I returned it with 1/4 gas. Horrible experience.Bithiah R.
I have be screwed out of almost $700 and can't get a phone call back. All of this is because apparently whoever checks in the customers can not read, and will give the keys to a delivery vehicle to anyone walking up. It is on video and there are witnesses as well. Then it is ok for them to deduct that money from another account 1-2 weeks later without prior warning or explanation. Now nobody will answer the phone.David N.

The truck had significant safety issues. First the driver's side visor was missing the clip to hold it in position. The visor would swing around while driving and blocked the driver's view of traffic and traffic lights ahead numerous times. Additionally it would slowly fall down while driving straight ever 1-2 minutes. The parking brake did not engage. The check engine light was on.Dustin A.

When I went to my return location they told me they were full and to go to another location. When I went to the second location they told me they were full and sent me to a third location. When I went to the third location, they did not offer a receipt. They then waited two more days to check the vehicle in and charge me for the 2 extra days.WilliamJason B.
I was only rating the person. The company failed because they didn,t check to see if I could drop off the trailer. There was cat or dog hair all over the interior. As someone that's allergic to dander, it was not a fun ride. I got overcharged and had no help when I called in to â€œU-Haul trafficâ€Joshua S.
My equipment was overbooked, however I was upgraded to the next size up with no problem so everything worked out. I would definitely recommend this location.HASANI H.

I had to pay for a 26' truck because that was the only option. When I arrived there were at least 6 or 7 smaller trucks that were in the parking lot. I had to pay $40 plus mileage since it was the larger truck, instead of one of the smaller ones that would've been half that price. It was an older truck and felt unsafe to drive. Feels like a big waste of money. I was told a representative would call me back before they charged my card and that never happened. They just charged my card A few more dollars the next day without ever contacting meJoshua S.

Instead of doing a night drop I waited to return truck to make sure payment went through. (I was leaving for california) lady told me it went through. I said it should of been 50 short. She said no it's fine. Just looked at my receipts and it shows I have a 50 dollar promissory note. Very disappointed in this location.aron D.

The van was very dirty inside...lots of trash, food spills and smelled of cigarette smoke...no one seems to maintain the trucks. The truck had a 15" crack in the windshield. Customer service was terrible. First, I was told I had the truck "For a Day" (and on the contract). I asked if that meant 24 hours..."Yes." Then I received a notice from U-Haul that the truck was due back in 3 hours. I called Monarch and was told it was due back in 7 hours or by 5:00pm when they were closed.Timothy O.
