It is impossible to rent a u-haul without having major billing issues. Rent for 5.5 hours drive 21 miles and put $15 of gas in. $216 charge. Someone please offer a competitive product. U-haul is a nightmare.Dennis J.

They did not do a proper survey or check the contract drop box that showed I dropped off my trailer the same day. Called me 2 days later stating I didn't return. They found there mistake but still overcharged me. Would not refund so I had to do a dispute through my cc. I return trailer the same day after hours, put contact in box and they charged a $20 after hour fee?? WTFSHANNON E.

Switched locations on me last second. Called location and they said they didn't have a truck for me. Had to spend 2 hours on the phone to make sure I had a truck. Place was busy. Don't get your contactless app function when you still have to go inside and wait in line.Charles B.

The customer services was terrible. The lady with the super long eye lashes seem to have a terrible attitude. She did not seem to want to be there and her tone was beyond terrible. She was talking to the other workers and no one seem to care customers were in the building. I would never return to this location and I rent a lot of u-hauls. Everything went fine. I reserved a truck but didn't realize I could have gotten one much closer to my grandson's apartment. But that's what happens when you make your reservation on line from out of town. Not only that but locations closer to his place (by A&T campus) either didn't answer or said my wait time for them to answer was 15+ minutes. You answered and were very accommodating. No one helped get the rental unit onto or off of the hitch. They basically said "It's out back." I was told it would cost extra for someone to help me! I about broke my back getting that thing on and off my hitch. I hope they don't treat little old ladies like that.CARL M.

I will never recommend UHaul. My moving date was July 31. On July 27, I set up a truck rental and movers on the UHaul site. I went to the location directed for the truck pick up at 9:30.a.m. on July 31. The store employee said nonchalantly; the truck isn't here. I was convinced that the lackadaisical customer svc was attributable to a 3rd party.. Surely at an actual UHaul site someone would make a call or show a modicum of interest as to why a confirmed truck rental had disappeared into thin air on the morn of the move. But no. At the UHaul site on Market St in Greensboro, NC I was informed that since I didn't rent from that site - they could not ( would not) assist me. By then the movers were at my house; on the clock. This single mom on a budget who had sacrificed to purchase a home and pay for movers and a truck was left on hold for over an hour. Thankfully my resourceful daughter went online and booked another UHaul at a different Gsbo location. This is that rental. We rushed to pick it up since I had now paid for about an hour of the movers time while they were unable.to work. And as we sat in the rented truck I got an email from UHC of Central NC Regional Traffic Ofc assuring me that there was no rental available.for me. Sorry for the inconvenience.. Evidently a regional ofc could not summon the same resources that a Gen Z with a smart phone could to correct a snafu. The svc that I received was unacceptable but the worst was the failure to communicate and the utter lack of responsibility from a national corp. I will not use Uhaul again and I will gladly use all social media platforms to save others from the same experience.Miriam H.
Required customer to hook up and disconnect trailer. Failed to communicate regarding a request to keep trailer an additional day. Employee advised me they would check into it and call me back. I didn't receive a return call and followed up on my own accord only to find I had to turn the trailer in before the end of the day. Then I was charged late fees etc.Marcus M.

I have rented uhauls in the past and have gone more miles. Well this one i got a smaller truck and was charged way more than usual. Yea not good place t0 get a uhaul or car from!DENITA B.

Had a problem with person providing service. She was rude and inconsiderate to the fact that I didn't know the dimensions of the vehicle that I wanted to rent. I had renal vehicle about two weeks earlier and wanted the same size. I was told none available. Went outside only to see 3 onsite. Went back in questioned another rep.about the trucks , she asked rep#1 about situation. Basically just too much negativity. Especially after being a die hard over the top customer for 10yr. Had a very long wait before I was assisted by an employee. I was made to hook up my trailer myself with no assistance from the employee. She went inside after showing me which trailer to use. Lastly, the motorcycle trailer exterior was covered in dirt and grease from the previous renter. The trailer tongue was very badly cracked as well and was shoddily repaired with two welded on metal patches. It was crooked and caused difficulty when unhooking.OLUFEMI B.

The truck they let me use didn't even have 1/8th of a tank in it yet I was required to fill it to a 1/4th a tank. I also requested and paid for an appliance dolly and was not given one to use. There was a utility dolly on the truck I was able to use and I was charged for the appliance dolly and utility dolly. I was also charged a fuel fee and gas refuel fee even though I filled the truck back to what it was at when given to me as I was told to do when I called on the phone. Since I had to do a mobile pick up, it messed up my return time and while the nice lady on the phone fixed my return time and told me I wouldn't be charged for a second rental period, I still was. So my bill almost tripled when it shouldn't have. I've been calling to get this figured out and the phone hasn't been answered. As soon as I got the truck on Friday night I called about this and got answered yet those answers were no honored and I was still almost triple charged. This isn't my first time renting a Uhaul but it is from this location and doing mobile and I do not plan to rent from here again or do mobile pick up again.Ashley T.
