ROBERT WMy first truck was blocked in and needed a different truck assigned to me. The interior of the truck was dusty. The truck felt out of alignment.
James HThere was almost no internet, so we had a lot of trouble uploading documents/photos to check in/out the truck. Apparently the van we rented was unavailable, which resulted in an error message when we got to the lot and tried to start our reservation. We called and the person on the phone switched us to a truck (which meant we ended up getting charged for a lot of gas we didn't need). Then the website asked for verification of identity, none of which was possible on a weekend from a parking lot (e.g., employer verification or a passport). We had to contact support again, who suggested adding an additional contact, but we didn't have anyone (since we didn't know we'd need to have friends on call to rent a stupid van). Knowing we'd need this stuff in advance would have helped _a lot_! Finally, when we returned the van the website still didn't work because of the poor internet service, so we ended up having to call them and have them check the van back in over the phone. The whole experience was miserable and I never want to go through that again.

Alasdair PEmployee nasty, no inspection of the truck, the truck was dirty. I came back the truck at the same level of gas but they charged me 15 dollars ! To know I just drove 18 miles !! This is unacceptable !! My worst experience with U-haul…
Alban PThis is my 4th time renting a U-Haul at Modena Automotive, and I was once again pleased with their service. The mobile check-in and check-out procedures for U-Haul make the process safe and painless.
Christopher SPlease update your Google location. I was next to the trucks and lock boxes but I was .7 miles from where I was supposed to be in order to use the truck share 24/7. Had to call customer service in order to get my truck. They said I needed to drive farther away so the system recognizes I'm at the "correct location". Customer service was amazing, but it was an extra half hour of troubleshooting that was really unnecessary.

FABRIZIO MThe equipment was great and easy to find! The locks were hard to figure out and the location didn’t match what the app told me (the app said the lockbox would be on the rear door). Additionally, the app was horribly obtuse and unreliable — but that’s not a location problem.

VASHTI FCharge them the correct amount and not for equipment that wasn’t even received. Then after they call you to tell you fix the problem don’t make them call back 3 times just for the issue to still not be resolved
Fantasia THave the keys to the vehicle that was reserved. Don't send an email stating the rental was capable of being a Mobile 24/7 rental when it isn't. Ensure replacement vehicle is clean. Have some one on site who has a clue and doesn't pass off responsibility to the owner of the building who isn't there.

Dawn MThe aft chain clevis was bent and unusable. I had to remove it, heat it and bend it back into position. I also needed to add 10-20 psi to each tire. Other than that the trailer worked fine, and the shop owner was very friendly and helpful with hitching up the trailer.
Joshua HEverything was wrong right from the start and I’m still having problems with uhaul. You guys think I still have the vehicle. I was to drop it in Modena ( where I was finishing my day moving) and I get a text saying I have to drive 40 min away and return it. How was I supposed to get back to my truck in Modena?
TOM FI did not receive the moving pads I had requested and the vehicle I received was rather filthy. I am currently contesting my bill for being charged for moving pads I never received and for the cleaning charge as when I picked up this vehicle the back of the van was caked in dried mud and the cab was filled with dried mud as well and what also seemed to be dog hair. It is a true shame as this vehicle seemed to be relatively new with less than three thousand miles on it.

Dakota RDrove only 47 miles, bought insurance, brought the van back with a full tank and was still charged almost $100 without being given a receipt when asked at this shop. Called today 10/15 and was told there is no way to access a receipt or any information that I gave when I rented this van for not even three hours. No receipt was emailed to me and no answers were able to be given.

nancy WWhat can uhaul do to improve? Next time how about you call me to tell me you didn't have the trailer i rented at the location that i requested 10 min from my house so that I don't have to call you and find out i have to drive 30 miles out of my way to pick up the trailer i reserved a month in advance. The independent business owners that are uhaul locations are the only good thing about uhaul. The experience i described sadly is the second time uhaul hosed me. I don't plan on letting it happen again because i don't plan on using uhaul again.
Matthew MThe check in process was frustrating because the lock was old and not very easy to get open. Check out was confusing because the website wasn't working and I was prompted to drop the keys off prior to being asked to photograph the odometer. Over all great resource to have in the area. I will be better prepared the next time I rent a vehicle.

Christopher II rented to dollys to move a piano and the rental equipment is never on site. If it's not available it should be on line for that location. I had to go to lowe's to purchase one.

Ross SService at location was very nice. However, the van absolutely reeked of fuel, to the point where I had to have the windows all the way down -- wasn't the warmest day... - and I still was getting lightheaded. Seemed really dangerous.
Max LCustomer service was horrible. I reserved a truck for 12 noon and didn’t get a truck until 7pm. I had the worst experience and the rep did not even compensate.
