They charge an after hours drop off fee of $20 even though I dropped the van off at 2:00 pm on Thursday. I have a picture time stamped showing the van at the drop off at that timeFrank W.
Several families were waiting outside of Mobile 1 for their uHaul, including myself for 30 mins in the hot sun. I did not receive the code to the box for the key so I called the number on the rental agreement and the voicemail told me to call another number. A lady got on the phone and was extremely rude because I questioned why the building had two neon lights on that indicated they were open but the building was locked. She hung up on me. Another family's uHaul was blocked in next to the building and what looked like a car someone was living out of. I texted the number this out of frustration "I'm reporting your terrible service to BBB, uHaul and the State. You will be shut down soon!" And this was their response "I don't work for Uhaul stupid. Idgaf who you call or report to. How the fuck you mad because YOU didn't do what you were supposed....just like black folk, always loud and WRONG! Go suck a dick cuz you sound like thats your cup of tea. I will still be here for a very long time ðŸ˜ Self made and self EMPLOYED MF" . I'm following through with every complaint. They were very unprofessional and a terrible reflection of uHaul.EARL S.
website stated location hours and we arrived at 8:00 am neon sign said location was open but it was locked. i called the location number and was told where to drop keys. last night, we received notification we were charged for dropping off 'after hours'. another frustration. chatted on line with uhaul and they could not find the charge; however, credit card shows pending charge for $20.00 would not recommend this location especially because of the charge and the false website information on hours of business; however, it was very convenient for our moveBradley W.

I planned my move from renting the truck with an appliance dolly, furniture dolly and furniture pads. I set up the rental on Dec 3rd for Dec 14th!! I scheduled paid loading help at the originating location and final destination. I mapped out the pickup and drop off locations to account for mileage. I thought through and planned my move. I didn't plan on Uhaul messing up my plans. One day before my move I get a text message from Uhaul to call them about my reservation. I call Uhaul and they don't have my truck and equipment at the original location and route me a few more miles out. Note here's how much Uhaul cares - they need to change our agreement yet they don't call you, you have to call them and wait in hold! That should have been my first clue. So since I took a Lyft to Uhaul, I have time to look around the neighborhood as someone else is driving. The location I was rerouted too was absolutely in a very depressed area of town. I felt very uncomfortable in the area and the Uhaul office is a dilapidated and probably condemnable garage. If I had to pick up in the evening I'd been concerned if not downright scarred. Uhaul should be embarrassed to have this as a location. It's nasty dirty and reeks so bad smoke you will gag and be afraid to breath the air. So this deplorable Uhaul pick up location has the truck. But they do not have the appliance or furniture dollies or furniture pads! They have just a parking space for the truck! So as deplorable as the working location is the people there are nice. The lady gets on the phone with Uhaul and they try to find the rest of the equipment I reserved for my move. She calls one and there either not open or don't have it. She calls another and they have the items. They do not offer to bring them to me! Why do that since I'm the customer and I've already gone out of my way to change locations. It's now 10:25 and I'm meeting my movers at 11 am. And here Uhaul wants me to now chase down the equipment they were supposed to provide at the location. Did I mention they wanted me to drive in to downtown Atlanta! I picked the original location because it was away from downtown Atlanta. I declined based on that I already have a 30 minute commute back to my location as Uhaul as already moved me farther out and has wasted my time with delays trying to find what should have been provided as planned in the first place. I asked and received confirmation they would not charge me for the items not provided. I did receive that credit. Did I get a discount for my inconvenience? Nope! Luckily my movers had the appliance dollies but that delayed the move and I had to use my personal blankets to protect my items. Bottom line Uhaul doesn't care about your total move! As long as they get the truck rented at your expense of time and inconvenience they could care less. I'm sure they would have been happy to charge me for the others items had I taken my time and put mileage on the truck to go get they items from a third location. Horrible customer experience example! There are other rental truck companies out there that I will forever use and advise you to explore other options. It says it in their name Uhaul (you do all the work) and still pay them. Not ever again Uhaul.Kraig W.
