The clerk who checked out the truck was rude. She failed to explain the check out procedure before asking for personal information. The truck was parked in a tight spot with back access and tight room to maneuver the truck out.Ehab A.

My entire experience was absolutely terribleâ€¦ Nothing to do with the location as much as the overall companyâ€¦ You have shown me that you truly did not put me first I was extremely inconveniencedâ€¦ I believe I was misledâ€¦ And I am very disappointed in the level of customer service provided to meJOSEPH T.
1) Vehicle box was filthyâ€" Approx 6 wasted/dirty blankets; fist-sized clods of dried mud; overall muddy floor; grasses/hay mixed with mudâ€¦ the vehicles are supposed to be clean/ swept (enforce it) 2) The cab was filthyâ€"stale with cigarette smoke, and left-over un-used cigarettes were in the dash. The inside wind-screen was coated in cigarette nicotine, obscurring vision when I turned into the sun. The floor was very muddy. The cab should be clean, inoffensive in odour and free of dirt. The windscreen should be free of visual problems 3) In winter, there should be a snow-scraper/brush provided for safe drivingSarah K.

You could accept debit cards for the 9' van. I drove to this location to specifically rent this van and was told I could only rent the 10' with a debit card. Ridiculous I spent almost double what I had expected, I won't be renting again.derek D.

There was a screw sticking out of jack apperatus that was very sharp and almost caused damage. The steering wheel shook whenever the brakes were applied,very scary. Still haven't seen email that gives me total for billBarbara T.

We pre-ordered an appliance dolly and was disappointed to try several attempts to 1 800 # then drove to another uhaul location to rent. At the end of the term, we finished 2 days earlier than we booked for. We returned truck to same location as the dolley and then were instructed to drop off truck out of our way then charged an extra $54 for extra mileage and gas AFTER we already had put in the gas we owed! Terrible customer service by phone. Long waits and very little answers.Laura G.

Very bad Cutomer service. The personel at the location does not know much about my reservation. I was not given a utility dolly even though i made a reservation 1 week ahead. And they started blaming me for not calling the location and informing them about the dolly reservation. The truck was clean but i had to wait for 30 min at the store to get the keys, even though i completed my checkout way aheadSudharnath K.

The out going mileage was 63,869 my bill which I received by email had it at 63,686. When I returned the truck the mileage was 63,956. I only put 90kms on the truck but was charged for 435kms, I now have to wait up to 5 day for any resolution from the area manager. I was over charged approximately $345.00, the pick up location was no help and there is a bit of language barrier, with the people at the pick up locations, all I was told was they (u-haul) would take care of it.....worst experience I have ever had with u-haulDAVIDJ K.

Not give me the problems of flagging my rental from a previously solved issue. Costing me valuable time, causing my belongings to be left out in my exes driveway in a torrential down pour, ruining many items. Subsequently the "keep the peace" police escort left, my valuables were damaged and I ended up being assaulted, harrassed and a fractured finger. Only recovering 20% of my property, damaged and now must initiate a civil lawsuit. Timing is everything U haul. Less than sub par service, over 3 hr on the phone or on hold waiting for the right person. Really terrible outcomeðŸ'©Wesley S.

I found the whole process of renting a truck very stressfull. I had the worse conversation with the dispatcher of ontario she was rude rushing and not helpful at all. Very very rude didn't offer to help me book a truck a size I needed just kept repeating herself who she was and what she did and if i wanted to cancel my order. just wanted to get me off the phone. She should be spoken to and correct her customer service. I rate her -10 secondly kept getting e mails saying that they couldn't fill my order and downsized me to a small truck. Very stressfull will really consider if I will use your company again.Ronald J.

Trying to finalize the rental while customers are walking in and out of the store is very awkward. There was dog puke and dog food on the passenger side floor, and orange peels as well. I had no time to call the Uhaul customer service to address this and i was also not going to touch it. There was only one employee at the gas station, he was unable to leave his position. The passenger side front wheel is an All Terrain wheel and the drivers side front wheel is an All season tire with different tread. This caused the truck to be imbalanced and made it difficult to stay straight while driving. All Terrain wheels are also not as fuel efficient. Uhaul is slipping. Or maybe it's that these 'neighborhood' dealers don't care as much.Jeff F.

We were to receive 50 free kms due to our truck not be available and having to change pu locations and time. This was confirmed at the pu location. When it was mentioned at drop off we were told the transport office would look after it. Thankfully we didn't use any where near that amount because the final bill only showed 30 free kms. It.wasnt a big deal because we didn't need or use.it, but if we had it would definitely have been a problem.NICOLASJOHN M.

I returned the UHaul at 12:30pm to the Mobile Gas, yet the Invoice says after 3:00pk so I was charged double. I filled the tank, parked it, and handed the key to the woman working the counter. I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do and she said no, she checks it back into the system. I than had a UHaul rep call me later in the afternoon at 2:42pm and I called him back 2:58pm told him it was returned at 12:30pm, he said he had called them several times and no one was answering the phone. I am not impressed by being charged double, after the fact that I spoke directly to UHaul and said it was returned at 12:30pm.Amanda M.

Very unorganized filled stuff out on line then had to do samething again in store. Could not understand due to language barrier at pick up and drop off and they were getting upset because i could not understand what they were asking of me. My boyfriend was with me at the time and had a hard time with language. Truck was dirty garbage was left in it. Dog chew toy a used mask barretts and dog hair all over seats.Cheryl R.
The store is new and it was a bit slow due to the way the system is at the store but the gentleman was very kind and did what he could to help us out.. very friendly and I'm sure when they know the full system it will get easier.. other then that it was a great experience.. thank you!!Lisa L.

The vehicle was fine. Unfortunately, because the location has minimal staff (1) when we encountered problems with verification at the time of pickup, we kept having to step aside for gas customers and lotto. It took 45 minutes to clear the paperwork even though I pre-booked online. The girl was very polite and patient but still was not the best experience at pickup time. Great pricing!Carol L.

Trucks fuel was below its recorded level and I was charged for it. I took a pic. When i got there the computer had different info then my reservation. After the guy called uhaul on phone the representetive on the phone said it was fixed but was charging me an extra $120 and did not want to fix it. Everytime I rent uhaul they try to scam some way they have zero coordination between their online registration and the actual retailers. I have rented a truck 8 times and have had 8 horrible experiences. They have zero transparency in their company and fail on every aspect with a complete loss of integrity. If uhaul went bankrupt I would not weep.Brock F.

Uhaul left me stranded for 8 hours on the side of the highway in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. They don't call back to your service calls, they are slow and they only have 1 tow truck company they use in all of southern Ontario. The uhaul representative even asked me if I would drive the uhaul truck with an extremely unsafe wheel bearing to a hotel (minimum 20 miles away down a major highway). The experiance was absolutely terrible, the truck I picked up had used car tires in the back, I got charged on my credit card as soon as I picked it up, shouldn't be till I drop it off?. I got 3 calls while I was loading my uhaul because they didn't think my equipment was dispatched and couldn't figure it out. After I was finished unloading my broken equipment at 5pm, nobody picked it up till the next day, because of a miss communication with the tow company on uhaul end. I can't believe they want me to pay for this, unfortunately they already took out the money. Also I for some reason now got an email stating I owe $109 for the trailer being dropped off in the wrong location. The trailer was towed from my location. And I now see my truck rental is still active although I've returned my equipment I'll be posting this review everywhere on the internet unless my money is returned in full. I don't believe it's fair I pay $1408 for such terrible service and inconvenience. Paying to be stranded in the middle of nowhere for 8 hours without food, drink or anything. And no way to obtain it while I wait for a call back from uhaul. This all after driving 20 hours(1700kms) straight by myself and being only 3 hours to my destination.Joshua M.
