Include the correct phone number for the location in the confirmation. The number on our confirmation was for a location that was closed. I spent 30 minutes on hold with Uhaul trying to find out about the pickup.

Attendant was not friendly nor personable. Did not help in unhooking trailer at all. She did not move from behind the counter. Did not inspect the trailer. Worst experience at any UHaul location and I've been a U-Haul customer for years.

Hated the online pickup and return. Could use major improvements. I rented the trailer but used my dad's vehicle to pickup. My dad dropped it off for me and because it was rented under my phone number he could not walk through the return process online. There was a $20 service charge for not using the online return which is ridiculous. We won't be using the online reservation again.

Truck came to us dirty, I asked for the location in Pella and had to be re-directed to Ottumwa. Very, very, very inconvenient. Also, once I arrived it was like they had none of my information on file so I dont know what the point of the online reservation was.

I NEVER agreed to a over 50$ moving safe charge, my bill should of been 48$ Like I was charged and then four days later you guys charge me over $59 for some moving save charge you need to credit my account now or I will never use U-Haul again and Or this location!

We dropped of the dolly after hours. which i knew we were going to, so i called ahead and asked where to place the dolly. The direction i was given were clear and we had no trouble placing it where it needed to be.

I would not recommend anybody having to deal with the personal at this location. They were rude and not helpful at all. Apparently U haul sent me across country with a stolen tow dolly and when I dropped it off at the Ottumwa location 3 days early they would not report it as dropped off because it was stolen and pretty much accused me of stealing it....I was told that they could do nothing personally to help me so she didn't know what to tell me. Not a good experience at all ..I pick up a tow dolly in California under contract and deliver it back to Iowa 3 days earlier than I was expected to and I get an email stating I did not return my equipment and when I go to Mobile 1 in Ottumwa to show them the dolly I dropped off sitting right there in their lot they tell me it was stole and they could not help me. Not cool...

They have to train their personal better! The man that helped me did not check me in to the system to let U-haul know I had returned my U-haul, that caused other people to call me days later to question me about where the U-haul was at...or if I had NOT turned it in! Just makes me think how much they could affect my account if those days go charged to my account ...just because that employee didn't check in my U-haul rental .

I rented my uhaul 5x8 trailer at 8am on 6/30. It was due back by 7/1 at 8am. I was told that the whole amount I would be charged was $28.28. And that it was due back in 24 hours. Well because the location was closed on Sunday, when it was to be returned, I not only got charged the $28.28, but I got it charged an additional $24. When I called to dispute that, the representative told me that I had rented the trailer for 3 Days so I better be thankful that I didn't get charged for 3 days. And I wouldn't be getting my money back. I explained to her that I had to return the U-Haul around 10 p.m. on Saturday night, June 30th. I have a picture that is time-stamped once I had Parked the trailer. She told me she would have to see what she could do, but I would not be getting my money back more than likely. Then I look on my credit card statement about 10 minutes later, and there is another pending charge for $28.28. Needless to say this is happened before and I will not be going through Uhaul again.

The lady who received the Uhaul was very good at parking it for me. That was an excellent skill. I would off probably taken about 30 minutes to back it up. I was really glad to have a great experience returning it.

Don't price gouge the customer on fuel when 5 gallons short. Charged $58.80 overall to add 5 gallons of gas to the tank - gas station is right across the parking lot. Returned the truck and trailer 1 day early too so uhaul could utilize their equipment for another rental.

I tried to tell the guy that I was only suppose to be charged for 2 days and he made sure to charge me for 3 even though the lady I talked to on the phone from u haul told me the 1st day was on them bc they told me I had to pick up Friday instead of Saturday bc of the holiday weekend.

1st off went to get the uhaul and she said your going have to wait awhile until we finish this car. 2nd off we had to drive 40min to get the uhaul. Which yes we got an extra day but that made no difference when we went over miles because of this!

Great people, didn't know we would have to drive over 50 miles to get trailer (as the items we needed it for were in Ottumwa) we reserved in Ottumwa as someone had taken trailer from lot and not updated it on computer - so we were not notified by email or phone it would not available in Ottumwa until we arrived at 8 am 4 April, Mon, 2016. Attendant could not find trailer, was worried it was stolen. People didn't know location of trailer but found one - a round trip of 50 miles for us before taking off to our destination. We feel you owe us mileage for 50 + and that we should NOT be charged for rental as we and your distribution centers did everything right, but your office did not. Please send us a full refund. I had visited with this drop-off spot prior to leaving Ottumwa to receive an approval of my trailer hitch, and then returned the trailer when we arrived home. In both cases, staff at this location were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Sorry I do not know their names, but a lady and a gentleman assisted us. It was also a pleasure to work with them.

I will never do service with Uhaul again. A horrible experience. I ended up spending $60 extra because of going over 105 miles. When you have to go outside your radius because Uhaul can't provide you with local trucks, it's ridiculous to overcharge your customers. Uhaul can go ahead and keep my money this time, but they will never receive business from me or my company again.
