The rental key was not left in the automated checkin box. I had to wait 20 minutes for a return phone call, then wait another 30-35 minutes for them to drive back and give me the key. I sat outside on the curb as the business was closing. I missed an appointment and was not happy.Terrence E.

the worker sits in a van , it smelly , she takes forever the building is horrible .Manecia S.
This location was not clean and did not have the equipment that I requested even though my order was changed to this location specifically for the equipment. The personnel also did not leave me the keys for the equipment, so I had to wait for them to arrive 30 minutes after my requested time, and have me go through the check-in process while I stood outside their car. I would recommend cleaning up the location, either having personnel there during requested pickups or using the drop boxes, and having the equipment needed to fulfill orders.Ian M.

Miss Evelyn was very nice when I did meet her. This location is run out of a car at an old service station. Did not have all the shipping blankets I needed. The station inside was dirty and unorganized. I terms of the appointment I showed up early but no one was there. The appointment was at 2 pm but I came around 11:30 am. I called the number on the door and left message but my call was not returned. I called back at 1:30 and confirmed that someone would be there. Also the truck box was dirty and I had to sweep it out. There was a Bud Clamato can, soda can, and plastic cup behind the drivers seat and residue of a drink spill on the seat that I cleaned up. It is safe to say that Covid 19 sanitation was not performed. Luckily I have been vaccinated. On the positive side, the truck did perform well as it was almost new with 6100 miles. After I was able to calm my wife down over the delay, she reflected in the end that the overall experience was positive when we were finally moved. I would recommend taking a chill pill before using this location.JIM K.

That poor woman sits outside in this heat, during Coronovirus pandemic or any other day. This location needs to conduct business from inside the building. She can't go inside because of the mold and medow. What U-haul can do is fix that small building for this woman that conducts U-haul business from her car. That's what needs to be done!!Melinda H.

This location was totally unacceptable. The agent was sitting in an old beat up car in front of what looked like an abandoned building connected to a tire shop that was operating on the other side of the building. The truck was full of what looked like white dog hair and was sticky. The agent gave me 1 Clorox towel to sanitize the truck. I was completely grossed out by the time I got to my parents house before being able to at least Lysol the truck.Cheryl M.

The roof leaked and got a lot of my stuff wet. My couche and clothes and bed. I had to to unlock the gate take pictures of the mileage and the gas. Then I had to u lock door and get the dolly I rented. It was very un professional.APRIL S.

My scheduled time pick up was at at 10a. No one communicated this to worker, who was at home when I called. I had to leave and then come back to meet her there. I was then asked to unlock the store, while she sat in her. Older lady, so I didn't mind at all, but then had to dig through filth on the floor to find the key. The place is very unsanitary.Charles H.
I was very happy with the service I received. I was scheduled to pick up the truck by 5:00pm - but I got lost, turned around and just plain pressured to get there by 5:00pm. The lady who answered the phone was so helpful and wasn't too worried about our time factor even though she said he liked to leave at 5:00 because it gets dark early. We didn't get there until around 5:30-5:45; and I thought they would have closed, but he waited for me to get there. I was so relieved, and he didn't act like he was angry or put out because I got there so late. He didn't rush the check out process, showed the mileage, showed where to put the key, etc. I just wish to say a big THANK YOU! Not to many companies would have waited.Elizabeth G.

There was no key drop box (contrary to what they said) so we called GO-UHAUL who told us to leave the keys and contract in the glovebox and lock the vehicle doors. They said they put this all in our file. We then received a rather rude call from this location a few hours later asking where the keys were and they were upset with us about what we had doneAnna D.

You all charged we 300 and sum odd dollars after i had already paid a 100$ cash for two and didn't use the miles i paid for because I couldn't return yall truck due to flooding from Harvey i think that's wrong so no i wouldn't recommend yall anAnnie M.
Have personnel capable of determining which trailer is necessary for a Scion FRS. We were sent to MLK by Gulf Freeway to get thee proper trailer. MLK did not have it. They removed all the equipment from the truck they did have and required us to get the equipment from Gulf Freeway. They told us that we would have to contact the 800 number to find a trailer. We went back to Gulf Freeway and they discovered that any of the trailers they had would carry the car. We did not finish getting the truck trailer and equipment until 2:45 --- the original pick up was scheduled for 11:30.Russell G.

The location was in a semi-good neighborhood , but the actual office was the nastiest place I have ever seen in my life. Dead rat, cigg buds in the floor, all wood rotten, dust and smell. The place was surreal! No electricity, no good functioning printer. The lady at the rotten and putrefact counter was kind but absolutely a turtle. There was one lady infront of me, I waited almost an hour to get the keys to the truck. If sanitation passed by the location they would instantly get a heart attack, not kidding. This place is not good for Uhaul, its the worst marketing for ur conpany. Check them out for yourself. If any question feel free to contact me. Had a 10am appointment to pick my uhaul up. There was no one there. The brother of the woman who rents the trucks was there but could not rent the truck. Then he told us if someone came with cash they would probably get rented to instead of someone with an appointment. My boss was with me and I was totally embarrassed. I then told her brother that we were going on an errand and would be back for the truck. When we got back around 11:30 she still was not there. Then she tried to tell me she was there earlier but decided to run an errand because we were not there at 10. We were there at 10. She said we should of called the number - we did call the number 4 times. Unacceptable.Ann G.

The address on the site is incorrect. There is another MLK Blvd in Houston. This location is MLK, Jr Blvd..it was raining when I picked up the equipment and the place leaks like crazy! Manager was very nice but not much there to work with.Ronald M.

Only thing was i got stucked in mudd I took the insurance out but i called to get help but unfortunately due to the truck not on a warranty they could not help me so...I had to pay 300 to get it unstuck not sure how can i get reimbursed or at least some of my money back......AISHA EUGENIA B.
There was no one at the location when I got there. I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to arrive. To her defense she said my rental had been canceled. I didn't cancel it. Finally got my rental right before noon for what was originally a 7 am rental in Pasadena, Tx. Received a text the night before telling me the pickup location had changed. I clicked on the address and the map told me the MLK address was in Humble. After arriving in Humble I quickly realized the text sent me 30 miles to the wrong address. Not a very happy customer. The pick up location was horrible! It was a run down gas station that was no longer in service. The shack that you had to go in was disgusting and the roof was falling apart. The associate that helped me was not able to move and swiped my card 5 times before it was completed. The whole process took an hour. I need someone to contact me because it was just HORRIBLE!Tyler G.

Very dirty office, lazy personal, extremely hot environment, very misleading about information concerning truck. They asked me to check gas gauge so I did and I returned vehicle at same marking, then they charged me for fuel and a service charge saying I didn't read it right. Should have known something was wrong when I went in to check on getting the truck the lady in front of me was also arguing about a fuel charge.MARIA DEJESUS C.
Arrived and found the place very unprofessional and trashy. I had to personally check the U haul truck to see if it was clean. Due to the lady not wanting to do it. Then had to get the Uhaul trailer out from the back of inclosed lot and hook it up ourselves due to the lady not wanting to do it. We then found the signal lights and brake lights not working to trailer. The employee advised us to kick the lights to see if they work. If not for us to call the number on the paper work. I had no time to mess with her so we went ahead and took the trailer. We just had a bad experiance on the pick up. Then on the way from Houston TX to Corpus Christi Tx the wipers fell off so we had to repaire those as well. Not a recommended place for U haul.NOE G.
