The van had not been cleaned in between rentals. With the current situation with the pandemic I expected it to be cleaned and sanitized. Overall, this location is very easy to deal with and the process of checking in and out is speedy, which is why I deal with them and the fact that they are close to my home.NELLIE C.

The only problem I had is when I dropped the truck off the attendant told me I had to sweep it out or he would charge me $25. I understood this requirement however, I asked him if he had a broom and he said no! This is a real racket to not at least have a broom in the shop that I could have used. This felt deliberate so that the company could make an extra $25. I'm sure a lot of people pay this just to be done but I went and got my broom out of principle!!!Michael A.
Van was horribly dirty, nasty! Finger prints and fast food grease on everything. Light colored dog hair completely covering the interior. Huge air leak in driver's side window so loud couldn't hear the radio, actually quieter with window opened about an inch. Circle of glue (or something else) on inside of the windshield in direct line of site. This guy doesn't care about anything but revenue.patrick T.

The manager, Kevin, refused to wear a mask! Had my family known this ahead of time, we would have taken our business to another company and not UHaul! This individual is putting the community, himself, his family and visitors ALL at risk. I told him that and how he could even be asymptomic and STILL be a carrier and transmit this virus to others! Blatant defiance is deadly. We will NEVER use UHaul again and I am telling every person and business owner in Placer County and beyond!janice I.

Check to see if the tires are flat or not. Clean the truck out better. There was dirty diapers behind the seat. I also sat for 3 hours 50 miles from where I picked up the truck to get a flat on the rear tire fixed.Patrick H.

I had cash. My son had to give them a credit card to avoid an extra $100 cash I didn't bring with me. I asked the representative if his card would be charged or if I could pay with cash when I got to my destination U-Haul? Twice I asked and twice he assured me I could. I WAS UNABLE TO once I arrived at the drop-off U-Haul!!!!!! My son is an adult and will not let me pay him back now. This was totally unacceptable! I WILL remember this!Jennifer K.

I have rented U-Haul's from a number of locations in the last couple of months, and this time I was charged a cleaning charge. When I asked what the problem was he said it was super dirty, I asked what was wrong said it was super super dirty. I don't agree, but I'm not gonna fight over $25. If he had a better description for me after what was super dirty, I may not have written this review. Additionally they would not answer the phone when I called yesterday to ask a question, and the day before I asked about getting some equipment, and he help me load it myself. Which is fine, but it's just not the way other facilities do it. I will just be sure that I use the other facilities from now on.Dale H.

I checked in for the truck rental on the Uhaul app, and was told by the clerk that I was "all set" and he gave me the keys. I got a call later that evening, indicating that the rental process had not been completed. The person I spoke with said that because there was no signed contract, I would have to return the truck immediately. I made it clear that that wasn't possible because I was using the truck and it would have been a HUGE inconvenience if I had to return it at that moment. The person warned me that "if you're pulled over by the police, you could be in really big trouble." To seemingly blame me for something that was in NO WAY my fault, and to insinuate that I could be in legal trouble for (again) something that was not my fault, is completely unacceptable. After a half hour on the phone (most of it on hold when the Uhaul rep said "I have to talk to my supervisor" multiple times), I was asked to call another number the next day, and speak to someone in the Scheduling Dept. To leave me hanging like that, not knowing what was going to happen, and forcing me to take action to resolve the matter, was completely unacceptable. The issue should have been resolved immediately, and there should have been an apology for my inconvenience and stress. I would appreciate it if you would speak to the local clerk, and make sure that he is not giving keys to equipment if the rental process is not completed. And please talk to your customer service people, and work with them to resolve issues without blaming customers when they did nothing wrong, and to enable them to resolve issues without having to inconvenience a customer by asking THEM to call back the next day. I would expect better customer service from a large company like Uhaul. I have always been satisfied with your service, but this experience was a BIG exception.
