susan R.The location and employees were more than pleasant and helpful. The problem was not the location but the online reservation, check in, check out procedures. I went online days before to reserve a truck for a specific date and time. Got to the location and the truck was not available. When I made the reservation online it would only allow to select a day and time where my truck was available. Why even bother making the online reservation if the truck won't be there?? The gentleman at the store went out of his way to make sure there was a truck there the next day. Luckily the move was a local move and we could be flexible. We got to the store the next day to get the truck and it was there and clean and ready to go. The check in process requires pictures which is ok, but having to do it 10 times before it accepted it was ridiculous. We were able to retrieve the key from the lockbox no problem. We came back to return the truck and there is a check in process you have to go through where you take pictures of the odometer and fuel level. I must have tried about 20 times and my friend did as well. Every time we got an error message please submit a picture of the odometer. We could not get past that point. We tried calling UHAUL customer service and waited for 15 minutes on hold. We finally decided to lock the truck and put the keys in the lockbox for the store and leave. It should not be this hard to rent a UHAUL with the technology available today. The location and staff there were wonderful and accommodating. I am sure that if we have been able to SPEAK to a person on check in and check out it would have been a better experience.

Dionysus G.Im a frequent transport renter, i was threatened with additional charges for leaving the transport at the nearest uhaul location in Concord NC which is the city of my final destination. There was an inadvertent indication that I'd return the transport to its original pickup location which caused unnecessary threatening voice-mails of possible additional charges. I'll continue being a loyal customer because u-Haul cost and convenience is 2nd to none and the fact that my HOA wont allow me to park a privately owned transport in my yard. Just honest feedback.

I can tell you at that cost every time I need a trailer I'll personally look at purchasing one . But my overall experience was what I expected. Thank y'all for your service.

We were going to be charged upwards of $300 due to a scheduling change, which was brought about by Uhaul over booking trucks at our original pick up location. The person at the location we picked up from was keen to Uhaul's bullshit, and treated us as a walk in customer. We were able to get out the door for a fair price, no thanks to Uhaul. The person who helped us had to spend 30 minutes trying to get our order confirmed before just scrapping it, and starting from scratch. A clear indicator that Uhaul's online ordering application, is a literal piece of shit. I am unlikely to do business with Uhaul again. The staff at Mitchell were the only redeeming aspect of the entire process, and they represented Uhaul better than Uhaul represents itself.

Richard K.I was not able to use the 24/7 check out at this location on the pick up truck. I had to wait for the facility to open before I could get the truck. It cost me an hour of my time. There was no point in using the 24/7 check out.

Llewellyn H.Inside of cab had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. When I got truck to loading site, I washed the seats, dashboard and door panels with cleaner and let air out. Found a nasty hair brush in door pocket.

No washer fluid when I tried to rinse windshield. Nice store, nice people but pick up truck should be cleaned a little better between customers.

William S.The equipment was not ready for rental . Equipment missing: My handtruck waa unavailable and caused major delays . My moving team was already on site and I was required to go to another location to find a hand truck which required mileage against my purchase contract and labor time with my movers. I must be compensated for my inconvenience.
