We rented a 10 foot, but the night before, someone put a hole in the gas tank, leaving the truck inoperable. That’s not the store’s fault. U-Haul called us five minutes before pickup time and explained the situation, offering to only charge us for a 10 foot truck, but the store was unable to change the price. Not the store’s fault. However, the 15 foot that we rented was in rough condition. The gas tank level was lower than the paperwork indicated, and it was dirty in a way that cannot be cleaned in a few moments. I don’t really blame the store, but I wouldn’t recommend the location, to be honest. Sorry.

I was charged a coverage fee when I declined at pick up, and was also charged a clean up fee and I only picked up two chairs in a 10' truck. I even put an extra half tank of gas in the vehicle upon returning it.

All we did was transport a sectional sofa and we were charged a cleaning fee of $25.00. The truck was returned in the same condition it was rented. We will dispute that charge with our credit card company. Never have we been charged a cleaning fee, and we always return the truck clean. Apparently that's how this particular location makes their money. To rip off their customers, so they never come back!

Fix the truck! I rented a truck that had both a problem with the rear brakes and the left front wheel. This was apparently unknown to the rental location as they had to write up the problems. This was not a new problem and it is something that would have been disclosed driving the truck around their parking lot. I was very glad that I accepted the basic insurance because the front wheel might have fallen off while I was driving the truck. My rental was driven 9 miles in total and these problems were easily seen. One of the moving helpers that I had backed the truck up and immediately jumped out and looked around saying "What did I hit?" This was the problem with the rear brakes.

Actually have a dolley/trolley available like what was ordered. If you don't have it - communicate it - instead im left to manually lift and move everything myself. Will not be using again.

I drove a total of 12 miles and put almost 4 gallons of gas in the truck before returning and still charged $33 for gas! Unless the truck get around 3 miles a gallon which I doubt than that was not right to charge me!

This location was a smoke shop and smelled. The person who took our keys was not very helpful and we have been charged way over too much for gas for one truck and not reimbursed for a second truck that had more fuel that when we started. Thr original location told us we would be reimbursed if we went over with the fuel.

The gasoline tanks of the trucks must be filled to the full so as not to confuse and deceive customers when returning the rental truck with inaccurate fuel measurements.

You should let the renter know before hand that not to lock the truck and drop the keys before using the app to show the return. The app asks for pictures directly from one’s camera and does not ask/allow access to one’s pictures. I had already dropped the keys when the app asked for pictures directly from the camera. Fortunately I was able to take a picture of the pictures I took on my own when I dropped off the truck.

They did not walk out with us and inspect the vehicle.. We made the mistake of Not checking the milage when we took the vehicle.. We went about 23 or 24 miles.. I showed them the route on Google maps.. They said I went 60 miles, at $1.09 per mile.. $93 charge for using the truck for less than 2 hours.....

I was over charged once I left. I didn’t use 25 miles I used 7 miles, replaced the gas. Swept out the back. When I left my card was charged extra. Been having the hardest time contacting the store owner. So now I have to find the time to go down to the store to have the man fix it. Idk why but he gave me the vibe he does shady stuff like this all the time

I was charged for cleaning when I barley moved anything. I moved a small love seat, table and chairs, tv and stand, and some cloths. Hardly anything that would dirty the truck. Completely ridiculous to be charged a cleaning fee of 35 dollars. Ball is in your court now. I want to see how this is handled.

Truck was old and had zero suspension. Should be retired. However, about my experience, I drove 14 miles and the truck gets 12 mpg. I put 1.377 gallons of gas in and the joker working at this odd ball location still charged me a fuel surcharge. I sent email with the detail outlined about and he didn't have the courtesy to respond to me. I operate ethically and expect those I come into contact to do the same. If no response is received soon, I will dispute fuel surcharge with my credit card. Last, begs the question, was that $9.75 worth pissing a customer off? Probably not.

Aside from the fact the truck had graphiti on the side, it was also dirty. If you brush against the side you would get a streek of black soot or dusty dirt in your clothes. Also the cabin was noticibly dusty/dirty. I could tell it had not been cleaned or washed for some time. When I dropped off the truck the shop attendant was talking on her cell phone on speaker, while texting on her other phone and not helping anyone. After a minute or two she finally looked up and noticed me, then just continued her personal call for a few minutes more. That felt a bit rude to me. I didn't like that. Afterwards she did get down to business and got my final invoice sorted smoothly, but I wouldn't want to go back.

The young man who helped me on the the 21st was great. The woman who was there was AWFUL! She had incorrect information, no idea on lights, etc that I asked about when I took possession of the truck. The truck was dirty, dusty, windshield a mess and she said :”oh, it was windy yesterday.”The prior renters contract was still in the truck. At first, she handed me the keys and said “have a good trip.” At this point I didn’t even know where the truck was! Again, the young man was GREAT!!!!

This experience was a rip off. Charged me 18miles extra even though i only drove it for about 5miles. The pick up location is only 1mile away from my parents house and drove it to move the items from their house to another house that is just 1mile away and only did one trip then i return the truck which is then another 1mile drive so overall that is just about 5miles. The guy insisted that i drove 18miles. No wonder this location gets low ratings i should’ve have trusted what people said that this is a bad location. Never again will i do business here.

I had a terrible experience at this location. It was very dark and desolate, I would not recommend going alone. After I was at the location trying to figure out my reservation, a man came and told me to get out of the truck because it was his. He showed me he had the same reservation number. I left the truck, and was on the phone with costumer service for an hour, until I could resolve the issue. By then, my storage unit was closed, and I could not moved as planned, I explained the situation and requested an extension, but I was charged for another day.
