It would be great if we knew of the rigidity of reservations. Don't stop in a bit early to pick your rental up (we were 30 minutes early), they will charge you an extra day! Make sure you check the details of the contract before you sign it! They did work it out but we lost a valuable time to use the rental. We were not happy that the location was not open on Saturday. Therefore we had to reserve the trailer the afternoon before and wasted time in which we could have used it on the following afternoon, 3:20 to 3:20 versus 8:00 to 8:00. Not to mention the ridiculous number of contact information/ numbers requested. This was a huge learning curve as it was our first rental. We will rent again but will ask more questions before deciding on what we need.kathy B.

The location was great. The problem occurred when I tried to return the truck. Your location indicator failed. I checked all my location settings, including my browser. Your website would not verify my location. I had to make a second trip to the dealer to finalize the return.DON L.

When I returned the truck I was not able to access the website for checking it in. I tried a number of different ways to access the website and I continually received error messages. I went home and returned an hour later and was not able to access the website. Despite following the directions on my contract I was not successful. An employee who was in the parking lot noted that others had this difficulty. I don't if this is a U-haul system problem or a location problem.James Y.

Give a heads up about what steps are involved picking up the truck with a smart phone. Needing to provide two phone numbers of other contacts was time consuming, annoying, and seems unnecessary. I could have had my passport at hand if I knew you needed additional ID. It seems like those authorization steps could be done ahead of time rather than in the moment of picking up the truck.Kevin M.

It was good overall, but it shouldn't be so complicated to drop off and return. It took us about an hour to get an account made on the correct browser. Get the pictures taken after we already had it locked up, then see we didn't think we had enough gas in there, after already putting gas in once. So we ran up the street to get more gas. Was exhausting going through all that after a day of moving.TERRY M.

I love how U-Haul asks about its pick-up and drop-off vendors, but not about its actual performance. Sounds about right given my experience. On a scale of 5, I'd give U-haul itself about a 1 or 2. Many problems, all fully avoidable.Robert S.

The only complaint I have is that one tire was under inflated. It was at 36 psi when the other three were at 65 psi. I checked tire pressures after I loaded the trailer and then filled the low tire so I would not have problems on the road. Apart from that everything was great.David R.

Everything ran smooth until I returned the truck. The website wasn't reading my location and I was unable to move past that. After numerous attempts to correct the problem I called and was on hold for 17 minutes only to be told the instructions for iPhone are incomplete. After the needed update was done I had no further problems. Please FIX YOUR SITE!Matthew Y.

The drop of location stated i was supposed to drop it off on May the 4th by 2 pm as someone ends was supposed to pick it up around that time. Yet, my paperwork stated the 5th by 3pm. I had to hurry and unload it. Your system needs to be updated to correct this issue as it produced undue hardship upon my family. I am upset about this.CHRISTOPHER T.

I arrived to my truck being blocked by another truck. Completely impossible to get out. Absolutely 0 way of getting in touch with anyone to get the truck moved out of the way.. Thankfully I have mechanics on hand and knew how to put the truck in neutral and enough man power to push the 20ft truck out of the way.. Only took and hour and a half to get all of this done... I've got some great pictures and a viral post about to be made. Thanks for the absolute worst experience with Uhaul I've ever had.Kenneth V.

The app/web experience was difficult. Google chrome location is not working right, which complicated the check-in. I ended up using another browser, Opera, to be able to check in. The whole process took 30 minutes. Should have taken 5 minutes.Dan F.

My experience with your Truck Share 24/7 was terrible! When I picked the truck up it wouldn't accept photos of my license after multiple tries so I had to go inside where the vendors kind of treated me like I was inconveniencing them. Then when i brought the truck back it wouldn't accept photos I took of the dashboard so i could check it in so i had to call your customer service line. I waited over 15 minutes to talk to someone and then they put me on hold for another 15 minutes until someone else finally picked up and got me checked in! I spent 53 minutes in the parking lot total trying to simply drop off the truck! Most of that time spent on hold listening to your promotions touting how wonderful Truck Share 24/7 is! Lucky for Uhaul that the second customer service rep knew what she was doing and got my checked in or I'd NEVER use Uhaul again. As it is, I'm going to think long and hard before I use Truck Share 24/7!Steven M.
