I would only say to rent and return the vehicle during hours they are open. The check-in over the phone took an hour to do because internet access for my phone was terrible and didn't work at first. It was the same for returning it.jerry Y.

Third time I've used Uhaul U-boxes to ship cross country. I've had EXCELLENT service the first two times. This time my boxes were shipped to a location that does not deliver the pods. When I complained the customer service rep told me it was my fault because I did not yet know my new address when I ordered the shipment. It was the most RIDICULOUS answer I have ever heard. I tried MANY times both online and by phone to set the delivery date for my pods to the new address. I was NEVER told there were no deliveries from the address they were shipped to. Exactly what kind of furniture shipping service picks up from your home and then sends to a location without a delivery option??? NEVER AGAIN will I use U-boxes. BEWARE!!KATHLEEN H.

I found the procedures to turn truck in on off hours quite onerous. Took 20' and five pics with my camera to prove cab and bed are clean and for mileage and gas level. Let's have a little trust for folks-not too much to ask. Rented Uhauls 7 or 8 times in past couple years. Guess I always brought it back during working hours. Will try and avoid this process for off hours or use alternate group.Stephen C.

Actually call us so we can get the key from your lock box as I was told by the UHaul representative at this establishment this is not a good setup.Wasting two hours of our moving time trying to get the key put us way behind schedule. We felt like we were being accused of trying to steal the truck because the way we were being treated by the phone representative .This is the worst system I have ever encountered.I would appreciate a full refund over the traumatic time we encountered.Jeffery B.

They were very helpful and asked if we needed anything. Having the dolly already in the truck would've been nice and the floor of the truck was rather dirty and the gas cap was open for some reason on the truck, but all in all it was a good experience.Krissie L.

Make sure the gas tank is full. I got it at 34 miles until empty. It cost me $77 to fill to Â¾ tank and I only got a $56 discount. There was no dollie to move big items. I was told I was going to get a 20' truck but ended up settling with a 15' truck. The truck was clean. Overall I had a bad experience getting a U-Haul at this place.JERRY M.

When I was trying to return it by using the app the app kept messing up. I got to the step where I guess it wanted me to take two pictures of the U-Haul being clean but had no option to take the pictures like I did for the odometer and fuel level. It was a holiday weekend and I wasn't keeping it any longer to charged more money. I dropped the key in the drop box.KAYLA D.

The guy at the desk was rude. He didn't turn the truck on to calculate gas. We put gas in and he charged 20 dollars for gas.... ridiculous!Sophia E.
There were no issues at the pickup location. This was in a very small town in Indiana, so not expecting a â€œmegaâ€ U-Haul operation. Very nice and modern local lumber yard, good communication.MARK W.
