It said the office is open until 2 but when I got there the doors were locked and people were outside of the dealership that watched me drive around the parking lot and didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was back there for so long. Then I couldn't get the key because I could not figure out which box it was or where to find it. I had to go around the back of the building where other people were about to leave and sitting on picnic tables to ask for help. It was very unpleasant I was out there for 2 hours trying to figure things out on my own just to know that the people I rode past were the people who were renting out the U-Haul and that they were all about to go and no one even cared to ask why we were there did we need help or anything. Then he had the nerve to tell me oh Yu asked on time it's a slow day we were just about to leave. Yeah LEAVE ME IN THE PARKING LOT TO LOOK STUPID AND TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO HET THE KEY ON MY OWN.Eboni W.

The actual Uhaul customer service was abhorrent. Not only was my location canceled the day prior, but Uhaul found a location 31 miles away, not Miller's auto. I had booked my truck over two weeks prior for pickup the 7th. No additional compensation was offered from Uhaul, and if it was not for the efforts of Miller's Auto Center I would have not gotten a truck. It was just by chance there was a cancellation. Uhaul needs a OVERHAUL of your customer service and again, if it wasn't for Mr.Miller and Mary from the auto center I would have not been able to be moved.byron K.

Would not recommend Smart's Towing, the original preferred drop location. When asked if an attendant would be available, they said yes if the trailer was returned after 10 AM. The next day I was notifed that the location was changed at the request of Smart's Towing to a location that did not accept trailers. I had to call customer service to request Millers Auto who were very helpful. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SMART'S TOWING. 1 STAR AND NOT HELPFULAndrew C.
This location screwed the ball into my hitch and only hand tightened it. I asked them to tighten it with a wrench and they said it was not necessary. After a very bumpy ride, we found the nut holding the ball on had almost fallen off, and if it had that would have been dangerous. Once we fully tightened the nut on the tow ball, as it should have been in the first place, the trailer ride was much smoother.Jonathan R.

I was mistakenly charge $265 by a representative at the customer service. I was already charged the correct amount of $166 from the pickup location. It took a while for the phone representative to acknowledge the mistake. However, she told me that a manager was going to call me right a way. It's already 9pm and I have not received any phone call. The online check-in process was complicated. The truck was dirty. The truck only had 1/16th tank of gas - barely enough to make it off the lot and to the gas station. The truck had trouble starting and had the check engine light on. We had to wait 30 minutes to talk to a roadside assistance person who then just said to drive the truck with the light on. This was all before we even left the lot. Overall, a very disappointing experience with U-Haul. We're going back to Penske!Charlotte M.
They were friendly and thorough in explaining the rental process. They helped us get our car hooked up and undo a nasty twist in one of the tire straps. The only negative and this probably doesn't fall on them, was that U-Haul moved us from the Parham Rd location which is 10 minutes away, which is why we chose it, to Millers which is 30 minutes away. Driving a 26 ft truck those extra miles was unexpected. But it all worked out in the end and we received extra days and miles for that switch.David M.

I rented a truck, and then got switched to a different location, then was emailed two different locations to pick the truck up from. I showed to one and the truck was there, but had problems using the app to sign the truck out, so we got in touch with someone at UHaul, but they told me that because we were not on site until after our rental window started, that was the reason why we couldn't get the truck signed out on the app. She said she had to manually go in and do that. With the headache between not knowing the location for pickup with certainty, having the locations switched around, and then there being an issue with showing up after my rental started (by a matter of minutes) and never being told that would be a problem, on top of the time it took to have it manually switched over, I cannot recommend this service.Ben B.

I rented a hand truck with my equipment. I asked the girl at the counter 3 times, in 3 different ways if the hand stuck was in the back of the truck. When I got to my first loading destination, there was no hand truck. I had to call someone to go and buy a hand truck form me, because the Uhaul location closes every day at 1:00 pm. I call the following morning, and explained. I am supposed to be refunded for the hand truck rental.Terry G.
