Terrible experience. Took over an hour for pick-up. Clerk had no idea what they were doing. Ended up being charged over $900 for rental. Was quoted about $400. Car trailer was covered with snow and I was offered no guidance on how to hook it up to my truck. VERY disappointed with the experience. Will not rent again.JAMES B.

our drop off was switched without warning to a town 24 miles away. it took 3 phone calls with 1/2 hour wait time each call to get this switched. I will use a different hauling company next time with this kind of customer serviceterry M.
I reserved the truck at a Uhaul location in Schenectady NY on Hamburg St. They quoted me $268 for one way to Rochester NY. I then recvd an email that my pick up was changed to the 6030 Duanesburg Rd location which was around 10 mi away from the reserved location. I was told that there was no personal to get the truck to the reserved location so I had to go and get it at the new location. Upon pick my charge was changed to around $330. I when asked about the additional charge ,I was told that's the cost from the Duansesburg location. I paid it but it seems that the initial charge based on the expected pick up should have been honored.ron P.
I wouldn't recommend Uhaul period. They never keep the right reservation I called the day before was told the truck was a 20' at Perrones in Cobleskill went there at 11 am my reservation time they had no truck they showed me an email telling Uhaul they had no truck for Sat on Friday yet you still told me friday it was there and all set for Saturday. Then was told the closest was Johnstown over an hour away which was not happening with my 2 month old and 5 yr old in the car which was the whole point of renting one in Cobleskill to begin with. So I had to go with a 10 ft truck and make 5 trips instead of 1 or 2. My helpers with moving had to sit at our house because you didn't do your part. I had to waste my gas driving further away. My whole day got messed up and this isn't the first time. We had the same experience 4 yrs ago and had to drive to Palentine Bridget because there was no one there to give us our truck last time and you had confirmed that too. I don't understand how a business can be run this way. Last weekend the same thing happened to my cousin when we helped them move. Something's gotta give to tell your customers one thing and it doesn't seem to matter. I was super disappointed yet again with the company.Peter D.

It was just a drop off location at a mini mart so nobody checked to see whether or not I damaged the car soâ€¦ It would be helpful that somene inspect it so customers don't get surprised later with someone from U-Haul saying that they scratched the rental. Thankfully I have pictures in my phone of what the truck looked like before I Picked it up.John G.

They aren't staffed to run a gas station and U-Haul at the same time. I reserved for Schenectady, if I wanted to go to Duanesburg I would have reserved for Duanesburg.Joseph B.

Mikey Mart has been nothing but outstanding for our Uhaul experience. I would recommend having the owner (I believe that is the guy we interact with) of Mikey Mart running a Uhaul subdivision. He provides excellent customer service and really goes above and beyond to make sure the Uhaul experience is great for the customer. You should really consider promoting him or giving him more business. He is a true asset to Uhaul.Holly Q.

The young man who checked me in was very helpful, but since he had to attend to his primary job at the convenience store, he could give me great service. This was not his fault. Poor planning on the part of UHaul the equipment was never checked before I took it and I had to make all the connections.tom A.
