Limited equipment available. Had to request help to unload trailer, it was not offered.
David BentleyDrop off 30 miles away. Then charge me gas because wasn’t close to where it was. Tried to change drop off point got transferred around 7 people. Never help out. So just took my personal time and drove there. Drop off was closed by 3:00 Saturday afternoon.
Jeff RehaMake sure the extra equipment is with the truck you ordered. I ordered a two wheel cart and it wasn't even in the truck and the location was closed
Jeremiah HerrickThe parking lot was so congested with trucks and trailers, no driveway into the lot. I got my car caught on a trailer hitch that stuck out out that it Damaged the fender liner of my car. When trying to get the UHaul truck out it too got caught on a trailer hitch. I'm being accused of damage to a vehicle because there was absolutely no room to maneuver a truck. Stay way from this place.
Carol MadsenLikewise, Midway customer service was welcoming and friendly. The check out was complete and non-threatening. Again, it was so handy to have a drop-off eight blocks from our new home.

DWIGHT GINGERICHThe trailer was reserved over two weeks prior to pickup. It was to be picked up in Albia but was not at the pick up location. I had to drive 2 hours, each way to pick up the trailer that I reserved over two weeks prior. I don't think that is acceptable. I'm not happy with the service that I received.
Brett BrunnerNo one there to check in . Over charged us $20 for an extra day, when returned it on time, in the morning at 10 am Had to drive over 30 minutes to return it when there where closer locations. Btw we are in our 70's and my husband hurt his back trying to lift the trailer off the hitch.

LAVERNE LOGANWork on your rules for renting a dolly. A jeep Wrangler can be pulled with a Dolly if the transfer case is in neutral.

Julia KramerI dropped off after business hours. U-Haul traffic control called me mid-afternoon and informed me I had to drop off my trailer about 30 minutes further away from my destination. U-Haul self return app did not work (couldn’t verify my location) so I had to call.
TIMOTHY ERICKSONI was rerouted right before dropping off my trailer. We had planned a week in advance where we would pickup and drop off the trailer. We had to drive 45 minutes out of our way. I don't see why this happens when planning trips one to two weeks in advance.
Sarah DobrowolskiMy friends had a terrible time returning vehicle. First of all, I reserved Iowa City but they overbooked and needed to drive 15 miles the wrong way. It said East drop off after hours but they couldn’t get in with access code or find key drop off.

ROBERT LOUGHREYI selected a different location when reserving my trailer but was informed about 48 hours before my pickup time that I would actually need to go to this location. Also I was called a couple days later informing me that my drop off location needed to change as well because the one I selected reached capactity. It seems your inventory system needs updating.

Wasn't sure my return went through until I received this request for a review. It still shows active on my account 10 hours after the return was completed at 1250pm on July 17th.
David DolecheckThe location was fine, the trailer was old, but relatively clean. The staff was extremely helpful, considerate and kind. They knew that I was in a tough spot and really worked to help me out. I couldn't be happier with how they worked for me to solve my problem. Bottom line - - - they cared and that makes a huge difference.
