The doors were locked when I arrived to rent the truck on Monday and The doors were locked when I tried to return the equipment on Thursday. I ended up waiting 40 minutes and calling the number multiple times before the employee arrived to unlock the door and complete the transaction.andrew L.

Returning the trailer was a bother. Even though there we no other customers present Stephanie struggled to check me in. She said this was because I was returning the trailer prior to its due date. She struggled with her phone and the computer to get me a receipt. After 19 minutes of waiting I just asked her to print her name then sign and date any piece of paper stating I had returned the trailer in good order. She failed to put her last name on the paper until I prompted her and it is not signed. She was friendly, but I believe either the U-Haul software needs updating or she needs a little more training with the software. The Midgard location is spotlessly clean, well presented, and inviting. I do understand that computers can be troublesome and do not wish to throw Ms. stephanie under the bus.Jerry R.
Contact info is all over the place. Time was 1:30pm at dropoff, door was locked. I called number posted on the door for these occasions, call went to voicemail. Called number of location on contract, same result. Callled a second number of location on contract same result, voicemail. Called number for pickup location and spent 20 min convincing then I did indeed pickup from this location, his solution was to use dropoff app. Spent 10 min and the app was not finding my location by then someone drove over in a golf cart and I finally got it returned.David S.

Uhaul could be a leader in consumer hospitality 1. The environmental fee of $1 is just pure profits for the company and uhaul does nothing for the environment with the trucks they own 2. Mileage charge on top of refueling is a double charge and you pay more for the service by 2x the truck fee - double dipping 3. NO - NO maintenance or repairs on trucks that are damaged but charge the customer 10x the charge it would normal cost to repair - BUT again Uhaul doesn't do the repairs and instead keep the $$$ for their profits 4. False advertising on green energy and $$ mpg dial that doesn't really do anything for the mpg saving - big hoax - uhaul doesn't have green energy 5. False representation of insurance costs and coverage- although some people do not have appropriate personal insurance- the scare tactics uhaul places on society that the charges are to repair damage is so high they are forced to buy different levels of insurances by uhaul - JUST HAVE 1 overall insurance and charge $9.99 for it and more people will likely go for it - I use my own insurance 90% of the time depending on situations because I call my insurance and ask the coverage questions Stop gouging the people for your bottom line it is the problem that people have with capitalism- corrupt capitalism that is - I believe in capitalism but not screwing people Oh and the truck I used had old dirt around the steering wheel and the steering wheel was horrible - the material was worn down and slick The ignition was hard to turn over and I had to jiggle it to get it to turn - AGAIN maintenance that is not doneROBERT B.

I was supposed to be picking up truck AND trailer together but when I arrived I was told they didn't have my trailer and that "this uhaul thing isn't worth it" by the guy working. 3 phone calls later on my own - not by the customer service rep behind the counter. I found out that my phone number didn't get updated in your system so you sent a text to the wrong number telling me that my trailer had to be picked up at a separate location approximately 30 minutes away.Sarah B.

I reserved an appliance dolly, but found out at the last moment they had no dollies on sight. How do you take a RSVP but not have the equipment? I gave an estimated mileage and was told I wouldn't be charged for what I didn't use. I was still charged even though I was easily 20 miles under the estimate. I was given zero information as to my final charges with said mileage. I was then charged an additional charge that didn't show up until the next day with zero explanation. Perhaps had the guys actually checked the truck in instead of just taking the keys, I would've known about their shady dealings.Jacob S.
