The Interior of the truck I rented was filthy, had not been cleaned at all. Interior windshield had residue of something splashed all over the passenger side. An ashtray for a cupholder was found in the cubby hole under the cupholders, truck had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke.Jeremy C.

I reserved it for 9:30 and I got there and was told the man that rents them wasn't there and to return at 11. I called uhaul and they found another location I could pick up from. The second location was a disaster. After almost an hour there they had to call the supervisor to process my payment which took about 45 mins because of their payment system. The whole process of picking up the u-haul took 2 hours at the second location. Now, once I got the keys and unlocked the truck, the cab was dirty and sticky especially the cup holders. The back loading area of the truck was not swept out or cleaned at all. There were leaves, dirt, and even nails. I had to clean the truck before I could even load my items into it. It was absolutely horrible from start to finish. I should have received a full refund for everything I had to deal with. The drop off location was great. Great customer service.Rebecca L.

Make sure the truck was safe to drive. I was driving 70mph on the highway when my door flew open. The gas cap needed work and the check engine light was on.April B.
When I arrived, the business was closed for restructuring. None of their trucks were on the 24 hour rotation and could not be checked out by phone. I had to get customer service to track down the owner to come open the store to fulfill my reserved order for a truck. The insurance on my reservation was $24. His computer would not allow him to change it from $42, which I had to pay. I ordered a hand truck but they didn't have any there. I ordered a mattress bag, same thing. Clerk couldn't operate computer and had to call customer service to check me out. It was a horrible experience. I feel I'm owed a huge discount.Leslie H.

They read our fuel wrong. We left the truck on 1/4 tank of gas and it is reading empty on the paper we received via email. We got overcharged on the fuel when we made sure to go over what the truck was on when we picked it up before we dropped it off.Dustin D.

I felt I was over charged. I put the fuel level back to original levels. Yet they took a additional 30$ from my account. I use uhaul alot in my business. As a mover. This hasn't happened to me before with you. I also have a account with penski. At this point probably be there moreRockie W.

Equipment ordered was not available at original location and UHaul upsized the truck to something that was really 3x the size needed and changed to location. This resulted in being unable to move several items as the larger truck could not access the destination location because of its size. - which was the reason for the 10 ft truck. Also, Appliance dolly was not available as ordered.Krystal M.
There is nothing you can do to improve for the next customer. The gentleman I dealt with was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. In fact, he came to work an hour early on Memorial Day to help me. Very much appreciated.CHAD E.

they did not make sure the dolly i rented was in truck, and their service was not very friendly..i had to drive back to location to get dolly, which was a total of 40 minutesJesscelyn S.
I didn't realize until after I dropped the vehicle off the contract stated the truck had 3/8 of a tank of gas. It had 1/4 tank when I picked it up and dropped it off. Now I'm being charged for the gas. I will never rent or recommend using uhaul to anyone.jesse R.

U-Haul needs to make the pick-up location more convenient for the customer, I had to drive 15 miles out of MY way to pick up the vehicle. There was a U-Haul location less than 2 miles from where I was moving from.
