I interacted with 2 different ladies on 2 different days and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. I have used uhaul in the past and was pleased with my service. BEWARE of the bogus $21.95 "fee" for dropping off your trailer after hours! If you don't "check out" your equipment online they automatically charge this fee. Guess if you don't have a Smartphone or cell service, you're just screwed. I have called two different U-Haul reps to try and get this fee reversed because they gave me the wrong link to the equipment at check-in, so I didn't bother to do it. They WILL NOT reverse the charges. Have been a loyal U-Haul customer for over 30 moves, and thanks to this stupid policy they just lost my business to Penske! BAD MOVE, U-HAUL!!!Michelle L.

I was charged a $20 fee because I didn't do a return on my mobile phone. That wasn't my fault. I tried multiple times but your so froze up when asking for location and it couldn't find me. Personally I feel that I should be credited and U-Haul should find another way to do returns rather than putting trust in a cell phone. I even tried when I was halfway across town with great service.MACK H.

The folks in the Michigan Ave Uhaul were great. They were professional and assisted me with my needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move or need the use of a UHaul truck, trailer or Mini Warehouses ( 1058 ) My situation was a little different than a total move. I had to empty out my garage and store the contend in the truck. Therefore there was little to no mileage, as the truck sat in my driveway all the time. For situations like this maybe you could do away with the mileage charge !Ray S.

Everything was quick and easy I used the online portal to sign in so I just walked in got my key and was on my way. Drop off was easy as well again with the online portal just follow the steps drop your key in the box and be on your way.Christopher I.

The contract stated a different drop off location for the date I needed to drop the truck after hours. The actual drop off location changed to a location 3x further away from the original and I was notified of this via text without option the day after picking up vehicle. This should have been discussed with me at time of rental, not after the rental contract was executed and I took the vehicle... thus contract was changed without talking to me first. That is not right and frustrating, considering I had to drive an hour to return it. Furthermore, the process to return the vehicle was completely unnecessary as well. First, the website would not allow me to log in and associate the contact # with a drop off. Then the UHAUL app would not allow me associate the contract # to either my app acct or my uhaul internet acct while having a customer service rep on the phone assisting me and trying to get it to work 3-4 different times / ways. I called the uhaul customer service and waited on hold for about 20min at the drop off location, all the while trying to get the website and app to work. Not good. Furthermore, the uhaul CS rep could not get the website or the app to associate the contract number to my accounts either in order to "conveniently" return the vehicle. Ultimately, we were able to get it finalized after the several unsuccessful log ins / log outs (neither ever worked correctly)... The CS rep had to finalize the contract thru email, which could have been done immediately instead of all the website and app drama. To top all this off, I had to call to verify all of this nonsense this AM when the alternated drop-off location in Cleveland opened this AM ... so I had to verify all of this with a rep on the phone, on the internet thru email and via the phone this AM...all of this was quite frustrating and unnecessary. I have rented dozens of uhaul trucks and trailers in the past and never had such issues dropping trucks or trailers off after hours. Two things. One I rented a 26' truck three months in advance. Two days before my rental was supposed to happen I get a call about availability. I had to drive 240 miles round trip to get the equipment I needed. I had to take a day off of work to make this happen at the last minute. 2nd Please ensure that your drop off locations are open and not on an extended vacation.James T.

Having rented another UHaul recently I have found that the knowledge and respect for the customer that Cayci has at Michigan Avenue is not normal with UHaul representatives. Yes, I told her that. I will not go into complete detail on this but I stopped in at the UHaul rental place that is closest to where I have breakfast several times per week, and this man is rude and unprofessional. When I walked out of his office I said to my self â€œI will not be renting from himâ€ and I did not. I â€œlucked upâ€ and found someone else that is just as bad as he was.
