For a 1450 miles one way rent, please give a better truck. It is the first time uhaul gave me a truck that old and in such a bad condition.

Normally I tend to avoid things such as leaving comments, or even writing a review about things. I have chosen to write a review this time because I feel as if what happened to me was wrong and unfair. The first big problem I encountered was that upon renting my truck no employee was courteous enough to inspect the vehicle with me in order to verify that the truck has no cosmetic issues as well as other possible problems. I needed the truck for a simple task that would take me no more than a couple hours and I was not driving a far distance. The paperwork that was given to me posted incorrect mileage on the truck. The starting mileage of the truck did not match the mileage on the document that was printed for me. The mileage on my document read “42,870” but my Uhaul truck had “42,879” I returned to the rental center and I told them what happened and they said there is nothing they could do for me and that they had to charge me for the 9 mile difference that I did not drive on that truck. I tried to explain to them that this is why they need to go out and inspect the vehicle with me so they see that I'm not lying to them. I was able to resolve my moving issue but as far as ever renting from Uhaul again? I highly doubt it. The saddest part of all is that this comment will be swept under the rug since corporate couple care less about this but still has the audacity to say they care about their customer's opinions. I hope this never happens to anybody else. Please everyone learn from my stupid mistake of blindly trusting Uhaul and check the mileage of your truck. They might just shaft you and make you pay as well. Thank you for reading.

The agent did not speak any English, they told me they didn't have the truck but after calling U Haul they said they did. This is an inexcusable way to treat customers and it would certainly make me consider other options when I need a truck.

They charged me two days instead of the one I used it for, returned it within 12 hours but it was a weekend so they just decided to assume I used it till Monday. THEY SUCK

Mal servicio , mala atención al cliente por teléfono me cobraron un día extra el cual estoy reclamando porque me dieron el carro 11:30 am 11/23/2019/ y lo entregó una hora antes al siguiente día y me están cobrando 40$ Mi molestia es con la compañía uhaul no con las personas que me entregaron y me recogieron el camión
