The kid who filled out the contract at melody muffler made a type o mistake and said.i wanted the truck to go from imbler to Elgin 6 miles and charged me 400 dollars for 1/2 a day in my on-line application says I needed the truck to go from imbler to enterprise for 1/2 day I turned in the truck on time and ful of fuel and even after I straightened this out between melody muffler and DJ auto today DJ auto tried to bill me for 84 dollars more and it states clearly in my on-line contact I wanted the truck for 1/2 a day from imbler to enterprise please straighten this outEdward M.

I do have a major issue with reserving equipment at a specific location (five minutes from my home) and then getting informed a few days before my pickup that the closest location to get the equipment is over an hour away. After explaining that wouldn't work to a rep he then found a location 35 minutes away. You need to specify more clearly on your web site that desired pickup locations or anything even close is NOT guaranteed. BIG BOLD LETTERS ON YOUR WEBSITE WOULD BE BEST!James H.

Customer service that isn't rude, this location was great. But the customers service rep I spoke to on the phone was I considerate and rude. Uhaul has no right to change location of pick up 40 miles away. And just expect customers to deal with it. You should of never accepted my reservation if you could not fulfill it. Embarrassing and certainly not keeping your promise.Mike C.

The truck had dog food pieces as well as pine needles, and small branch pieces in the back. There was a light on indicating the tire pressure was low. I was told buy one of the attendants that they had to replace a tire recently. I have had the same experience with my trucj, so I ran with it.Bryan C.

Drop off location when closed. No dolly inside.Linda W.
I rented a 6 x 12 utility trailer and the attendant incorrectly hooked it up to my truck. Blinkers were reversed. Upon returning the trailer 24 hours later, there was nobody at the location. The doors were closed and locked, open sign was turned off. I waited for almost an hour for someone to come and receive my rental. Eventually the owner arrived and I asked him why they were closed. He said they were on a lunch break. Who closes down for an hour lunch break after being open only an hour and 15 minutes? They are supposed to be open from 9 o'clock till 5 PM, I arrived back there with my trailer at 10:30 AM. I did not believe that they were on a lunch break, I believe that he was late to getting to work. To make matters worse, I was double charged for my rental. While I was waiting, two people came and went wanting to rent a U-Haul. If he was open, he would've had sales. I would NOT recommend this location under any circumstances. Never lie to a customer. Had a bit of a problem picking up the truck, the gentleman behind the counter was saying that my reservation wasn't showing up. After him making a few phone calls it was cleared up. Also FYI, if you are doing a pickup in person (not mobile) the building is very dark and sketchy when you first enter and his desk is at the very back. But once inside the gentleman at the counter was friendly.Andrew H.

I had a hitch installed in Pasco, then went to this location, only to discover there was no ball. The man sent me with specifications to the store and when I got back with what he told me to buy, it was too large to fit into the hitch, because he forgot to tell me that dimension. He then blamed it on the personnel at the store, even though it was his fault that I had to return to the store and get and adapter. The place was filthy. The "office" was a desk in the back of the shop. I had to get around car parts, etc. to get to the desk. I do not recommend this location to anybody, in fact if I'm asked, I will never send them here.Linea E.

I really wish we can get a survery about the online booking/customer service experience. I would definitely give a below zero for that. Your process needs to be improved 100%. Yhe location we reserved was not the final location they were trying to send us. They wanted to send us an hour away with a mandatory return to same location. We ended up changing equipment and they said we can return a different location no problem, but didnt mention that they were going to more then double the final bill. We ended up returning to same location ourself and still waiting for a reverse of charges. I hope uhaul looks at this process and try's to improve. I shouldn't be allowed to reserve a trailer at a location if it is not available. Makes me feel like the one I reserved, they gave to someone else that came earlier.Cierra H.

Too many trucks for the area. Had issues parking truck. One vehicle with trailer blocked the entrance to the area. Complete inconvenience. Utility dollies were not with vehicle. After multiple attempts to get this reimbursed I was redirected multiple times with no resolution. After finally speaking to customer service was told it would reflect when I returned the vehicle and I would not be charged. Upon return of the vehicle I was charged still. Not happy. Vehicle was not clean in the truck after full inspection. Will NOT be recommending U-Haul specifically THIS location.Mason M.

Explain the contract. Odometers reading on contract was less than on the truck. They said they just brought it back from tire store replacing two rear tires. I am guessing that is why. Charging for another day when you couldn't have rented the truck is excessive. On top of that, it is my understanding the location isn't open on Sunday either. Is your additional revenue of $35 worth a disappointed and frustrated customer?DARRELL G.
