This was not the location that I had a reservation for. After arriving at the The Cove in Great Barrington, an unmanned location, and unable to access the truck that was parked there, I was redirected to Lee and my reservation was changed by Uhaul. I was informed that I would be credited for the time, mileage, and inconvenience of which nothing took place beyond my inconvenience

Fix and pave the lot, check in vehicles when they come in... not days later. Input the correct mileage for billing! Vehicle had an additional 26 miles than what was noted when we dropped it off.

Everything went well except return after hours and website prices. I was just instructed at pick up to return key in drop box. Which I did and then read the instructions. There was supposed to be many steps required before I put key in drop box that I wasn't advised of beforehand. I stressed overnight thinking I was going to be charged an extra $20. Also website said I was going to be charged $.10 per mile but was charged $.79 per mile.

Better cleaning. The Cab interior was clean enough and The truck portion was clean and well maintained. But the Cab floor mats were never touched and caked with significant amount of mud. There should be sometime of sticker indicating the vehicle was cleaned and disinfected; when and by whom. During covid-I think it would be most helpful to insure renter's confidence Otherwise, the location itself was great; It was manned, the staff was very helpful and personable. I had called them to verify their availability and they were very accommodating. Based on our friends experience-this is the place to rent in this vicinity. I highly recommend aa well.

The people at Meadow Farm Equipment were fine. U Haul the company was horrible. I lost the key to the truck for 2 days and they were unhelpful, told me to find a locksmith and pay for a replacement key, blah, blah. A guy from "corporate" called and was a total smart ass loser.

Well we where told that we would save $800 if we dropped it off at a certain location and that turned out not to be true. We went to drop it off there and they had no clue. They where very nice and let us drop it there but no savings on our end

U-haul needs to improve their on-line system, it took very long to both check out the truck and same issue to check it back in. Each location was courteous and knowledgeable but they were frustrated with the U-haul web site. I had to do a hard copy form at the pick up location, they told me "system was down".

Staff was friendly and helpful but the available selection in Berkshire county was pretty small so we weren't able to get the size trailer we were looking for.

Clearer info on fuel. I get the truck with 1/4 but no where does it say how big the tank is so how to know how much to put in? Good think prices are low:) Otherwise all good, thank you.

In and out in 5minutes. Only had to wait for one customer. For me it took less than a minute. She asked for the keys and said I would get an email with receipt. Later receipt came showing I owed nothing. All prepaid. What a great way to do business.

I was given a larger truck than the one I reserved. I was made to pay the rental fee for the larger vehicle. The local office blamed U-Haul central for the problem. Moreover, I returned the larger truck after just a few hours because I found that I had difficulty backing up the larger truck. Not a happy experience.

Car carrier rental process at Meadow Farm was awful! Everything was excellent until they tried to enter my card into the payment system. Twice they used their tablet to image the bank card: both tries come back “declined”. Then they try swiping, then two manual entry tries: all come back THEY SAY “declined”. An hour before I had paid for the truck on the same card with no problem. So I call my bank and discover there were no charges from or attempts to charge by Meadow Farms Equipment. The “nice people” at Meadow Farms say its my card not them or maybe its the UHaul system itself. have to pay cash to get trailer. I do. The next morning I check with another dealer who looks up my account. I am told Meadow Farms never managed to get the payment into the UHaul system even though she could see they had attempted 5 or 6 times. Apparently they have a bug in the store level of order/payment entry. They said it was my fault when it was their incompetence, forced my to pay cash, and were pretty short with me about the whole thing. Use a different dealer if you can!!!!

The staff and location were great! I did not appreciate the bait and switch tactic. On line I am shown options for a a van and pick up truck, the reality, those options are NOT available. However, the more expensive box truck is available. When asked if I could reserve a van for future use I was informed that this location cannot obtain those vehicles. Even though the website for this location clearly advertises them.
