They charged me $5.00 for the blankets in the truck that we did not use. We used the dolly and paid $5.00 for that gladly as it was useful. We have our own but it is much smaller and less useful. We were charged a $25 cleaning fee, which, I doubt there is any way to get around that, so, maybe it is automatic to just levy these fees and maximize profits for U-Haul and hope the customer does not notice ? It is the weekend, but I am eagerly awaiting either a refund of the $5.00 or some kind of communique from you guys.

This was no reflection upon this dealer. They were very courteous and helpful when I had to report an accident. Fortunately, I had paid the small fee in advance!

Anthony BThe truck was clean and in relatively good condition but it might need new shocks or something. The sign on the side said “gentle ride van” but it was more like a bucking bronco. It was literally the worst riding vehicle I’ve ever been in. Terrible! Something with the suspension system needs work. The only other thing was the load share. They asked me to tow back an eight foot trailer for a discount. I agreed because I’ve seen small aluminum 8ft uhaul trailers. They’re light and can’t carry much weight. The big box I brought back was over 2500lbs(box & trailer). My fuel mileage really suffered so had I known what it really was I probably would not have done it. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with Mckays hardware, they were great.

leevon mThe 26-foot truck was not electric, could not adjust mirrors. Didn't have much power, no giddy-up. Not a smooth ride at all. I've driven 26-foot U-Haul trucks recently with a much smoother ride. I'll have to make sure to check for an electric up-to-date U-Haul truck, next time I rent. I definitely will not rent from this location again. I asked to use the facilities when I returned the vehicle, truly had to pee but was told they didn't have a public bathroom. I was taken back. Anyways, enough said.

Stephanie OMike was very helpful and courteous, and even offered tips for driving and backing up with a trailer, and tips for future trailer rentals if needed. QAnd their hardware store is really good, and everyone there who I've dealt with has been extremely nice and helpful.

Jamie GThe truck I got needs to have the tires balanced and the allignment checked. It would shake pretty bad at higher speeds (>50 mph). IT made the drive slow and dangerous. IT was worse than other rental experiences.
Michael HThat person who I turned in the trailer stated that the trailer had just been serviced. Yet the trailer had no tail lights, all were out except too left rear light.
Sabrina FOver a month after I rented and returned the truck I rented, I get a 265.00 charge that claims I was in an accident or damaged the truck. I did no such thing. In fact 2 weeks later I rented the exact same truck for a week.
