You changed our puck up location twice and made it farther away to get ? The mileage was wrong , damage wasn’t added from previous customer ,, and wouldn’t let us rent it longer than 2 days ?

While the origin point should have been equipped with at least one truck out of three locations in Orillia ON, the destination location was very convenient and only blocks from home. We returned the truck on a Sunday and had no interaction with the staff at destination. All in all, a very good experience.

I was given a rusty old utility dolly was told it will work , “no discount on it “ should be almost perfect for full price in my opinion that’s what I’m paying for . Secondly I rented the truck from 8 am to 8 pm there closed at 8pm was told I could keep it until 8am no problem long as I was there when they open to pay for KMS we had a snow storm it made my move almost impossible so I called an said I was going to be late 5 extra hours got a break an was done in 3 I called again to say I was coming in at 11 instead of 1 so they can call the next customer an let them know “uhaul was next customer they had to take truck to another location” found that out afterwards no matter who it was I constantly communicating with uhaul an Mcarthur . Put in extra gas to save them some money “make up paying employee” I got NO thank you NO nothing then was charged an extra 24 HRS , I laughed an said well next time I’ll keep an extra 24 hrs if I’m gonna be 1 minute late if this is how it works an was “joking around “ straight face was told then they will charge me extra fine blah blah an extra fees. Not Friendly staff at all you don’t get exactly as you pay for from here . Side note truck heater temperature knob is stuck full heat setting . Thank you Uhaul , see you in couple weeks hopefully things are better.

The strapes for the totes are to small had to use my own , running lights didn’t work, and the tie downs I had to oil would not move when I picked it up , besides that the trait worked great and towed really nice

The only issue we had was the fuel gauge showed slightly below full when we left after pick-up.We had only just left your office when we noticed.On return after filling up the gauge was as much above full as it was below on pick-up. I have photos that will verify this.

I realize McArthur Tire is not open on Sundays but it is difficult to drop off a Uhaul trailer without an available lifting device., as the tongue of he trailer is too heavy to lift by hand. Luckily we own a small one and brought it with us, most people probably wouldn't be able to do this type of off hours return due to lack of equipment.

24/7 pick up was easy to use. Drop of when they were open was less than 5 minutes and she was very friendly. Extended my reservation online. Easy process.

The location was fine for pick up and drop off, however the uhaul company itself is very poor customer service! And a complete rip off. I had already paid for the uhaul and I returned it a day earlier and got charged an additional 277$! What for, I have no idea why I was charged again. Plus I asked for a 10ft and they gave me a 15 ft truck and was supposed to be the same rate as the 10ft. Of course day comes to get it and I'm charged the rate of a 15ft and now have to call uhaul directly to sort this out when it should have already been in the system.

Have the vehicle ready when it is booked for. Based on the fact people have made plans well in advance even the on line sign in locations should have someone on call for when they mess up and do not have the keys ready. My moving plans were very messed up and cost me double because McArthur tires blamed drop off customer previous to me for not leaving keys in right location. Lame excuse. It is your business not the customers you need to make sure the vehicles are ready properly.

I used trailer for 6 days but paid for 7 …I expected a discount for that 7th day but was told “no” that is not UHauls policy…many you could return my rental fee to me for that 7 day

I had to travel over an hour to get my trailer because the location I requested for pickup had no trailers at all. It was great that I was provided with the next size up at no extra cost but it was a slight inconvenience during a busy move. And although we used a lock, the doors did not remain properly closed leaving a gap at the bottom so we lost a few small items along the way.

The truck was too big, the gas was too much, I didn't even fill half of the truck, lost a night of sleep bc of anxiety over being forced to take a 26 ft truck even though I requested a 15 ft truck. Awful and terrifying experience.

Uhaul it’s self was a great experience sadly the location where is is housed (MacArthur tire ) does not appear to want the business. Staff member stating multiple times I don’t have ******* time for this and how horrible uhaul is. I would avoid at all cost dealing with this location due to this.

The truck we rented ended up being too small. The description matched my apartment but our stuff didn't fit. We needed the 26' truck. The 20' loses a few feet because the mothers attic space is included in the overall length. I still have stuff at my old place and I don't know how I'm going to get it. Also, we made the reservation 3 weeks prior and when they called the day before to confirm, they told me it wasn't available until 3pm. That's not acceptable. Moving is a huge, stressful task and learning the truck you've rented isn't available when you need it, the day before moving day, is extremely stressful. On a positive note, I did like the upgraded website, check in, and online return feature. That was an upgrade since the last time I used Uhaul 4 few years ago. I will continue to use Uhaul but I do not trust the company as a whole.

The hardest question for me to answer was if the equipment was maintained, truck #JH 5353 D is in need of Canadian winter tires, shocks, and definitely an alignment. It rode like a lumber wagon and steered like one too! Overall, it did what I needed it to, but if I needed it to go further, I absolutely wouldn't be happy.

Location and staff were very helpful but the truck did not meet the requirements/specifications stated online. This caused us to not be permitted to do our scheduled road test. Do not attempt to use any of their vehicles for a road test as they are not registered properly and you risk being turned away and losing money. This Ended up costing us a lot of money and we weren’t able to do our road test and left very disappointed and frustrated.
