Overall, the experience was satisfactory, but there were some cleanliness issues inside the truck. The interior of the truck, including the car inside, had a foul odor and dirty, sticky floors. Additionally, both the driver and passenger areas were unclean, with even Q-tips littering the floor. The storage compartments for coffee and bottles were also extremely dirty. Despite these issues, the individuals who handled my reservation and return were pleasant and helpful.

jordan hVan was not clean bed was full of yard waste (bark, leaves etc.) Broken side door latch. Waited for 20 mins for the employee to come out to assit customer. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! No pre walk inspection with McLendon's employee, before I drove the Van.

DOUGLAS WLocation appeared to be short staffed. Guy that rented me my truck was also in charge of gardening center so long wait times for pickup and return.
Mike KLow tires pressure sign appeared on the dashboard. I notified staff member and nothing taking care before I leave the lot. I put yes for recommend a friend to this location due to convinient but customer service is below average.
Timothy NI used the mobile checkin. After I checked in there was no further instruction to retrieve my u-haul van. I called customer service and they advised me to go inside. Inside the store the lady who helped me start my reservation looked annoyed to help me. The van itself had dog hair on the seats and the cab floor was dirty. The van overall was easy to drive and maneuver. Upon returning the van the gentleman who helped me was very upbeat and friendly. Have definitely received a better experience from this location in the last.

KYLE GVery easy transaction. Out in 5 minutes and returned in less than one minute. Great counter person as well. My issue is the $1.19 mileage charge. It makes the $19 per day cost soar when you add the insurance, plus fill up the tank. I understand why a charge is needed for wear and tear on the vehicle, but that cost is excessive in my opinion. Other than that, I had no issues.

DOAT CThe van was extremely dirty on the exterior and the previous renters had clearly used it to haul rotten trash as the smell inside was almost unbearable. Had to keep the windows down while using. Only 1 part of the 2 part side door could be opened.

I will go back when I need it and I will let everybody else know about it. Because I've been to three of them so far and it wasn't happy with the service but this is a plus. Thank you!

Ian FOverall it was a good experience. I needed to adjust my reservation from a truck to a van- the uhaul store was able to accommodate my need. The worker was friendly and allowed me to turn my keys in even after they were closed. The location was a bit unsafe and I had concerns about leaving my car while I used the van. But that is not anything that the uhaul workers can control.

Sonja BThis store is closing at standard office hours 6:30 PM. There are no options to return the vehicle after 6:30. Also this facility does't have key drop off feature. IMPORTANT thing is, this information is not posted when you are booking online.
PANDIAN PSafemove was added to my bill, when asked in person at pick up I replied no. And even when setting up the pick up online. I said no. Still charged 15 for no reason.

Kathleen IPlease make sure that your equipment is well maintained. I recently rented a 10’ truck. Drove it like less than a mile to my place, parked it then loaded it with our stuff. When we’re about to go, the damn thing won’t start. Called fot roadside assist and they took like forever to decide what to do. After 4 hours they finally decide to try to salvage the damage by towing our the truck to our destination(which is just 2 miles away). So basically, I only get to move 1 load and I still charged me full. Then after that day, customer service keeps on texting and calling me to return the truck which they towed that night. This happened for the next 3 days. You need to communicate with your dispatch and customer service assistant. I already notified the store in which I’ve rented the truck the very next day and yet they have no clue on what’s happening. Freakin’ bad experience!

Kelly MWhen I picked up the van the gas was on E. Van should have been at 1/2 tank ready to go for the next renter. The van was filthy inside and out. Trash was left in the van from previous renters, paint residue was spilled all over the floor of the van as well as the smell of cat urine. Note: I was reimbursed for the gas. The employee at McLendon’s who performed the walk-thru was rude and LACKED people and customer service SKILLS . Would I rent from them again…NO

laura mThe fuel level reports needs to be looked at. When renting I was told the vehicle fuel tank was quarter but it was totally empty and the warning light was on. This please needs improvement. Otherwise the vehicle helped me alot. Thanks
MARTIN MOverall very good. Very fair on equipment. $1.19 for mileage is extreme for long trips, there should be some scale to make things fair on miles. Next time it will be cheaper to BUY the tow trailer.
