ernesto gYour locations should have the necessary equipment to complete a check in. For instance, no scanner meant we had to try your app to upload the drivers license. I do not allow any app to access my camera so this did not work. total frustration for everyone. Just one example of a check in system designed for you and not for the customer. In general your check in system is designed for you and not for the customer. Come on-two references?

JOE Nmy return time was after location was closed. app wouldn’t work. had to make 2 phone calls to u-haul to get drop off address (customer service on phone is good). return equipment called into tell them, they couldn’t return my equipment because i had left location… they charged me $25 for sweeping a truck out that was clean. did we sweep it no but there was no trash or anything. it was windy, raining and 40 degrees… we left the back of truck opened because that is we were told to do when we had a franchise… it was just as clean as it was when we picked it up.Very disappointing with u-haul.
Jaymie SI was originally scheduled to drop off to a location less than have a mile away. Upon arrival the lady told me if I could not unhook the trailer and secure it back to a specific location I should go to another location because the man responsible for the U-Haul was not available left and attempted to call him with no answer. I didn’t expect this lack of customer service very disappointed and scary

George AI received a phone call from a very rude woman. She didn’t ask me if I returned the equipment, she asked when I would be brining it back. I returned the equipment the previous day as per my rental agreement. I don’t appreciate being called and greeted with an abrasive tone suggesting I didn’t return equipment, I am extremely angry about this interaction and have never experienced this with any uhaul employee in the past. This woman does not belong in customer service

Celina CWe had to keep the U-Haul for an extra day due to not having the dolly’s we requested. A job that could of taken us the allotted time of 6 hours with dolly’s took us two days manually with no dolly’s. Dealer said he forgot to put them in the night before but that we wouldn’t be charged for it. Overall the U-Haul was great and easy to rent/pick up. Customer service online was great as well. Dealer was nice. He accidentally forgot to put dolly’s in and that could of been done differently. Customers rent what they need and should expect to receive what they requested to make their job easier, as it should be.
Serena SMr. McKinney was kind and professional. We arrived early; he took care of his opening tasks then waved us in to get started. He loaded the dolly and blankets into the truck, swept it out, and started it so the cab would be cool for us. Great customer service by a very sweet man!

David BThey charged me a $25.00 cleaning fee claiming it was dirty and coffee stains everywhere. We left it clean inside. I did not drink ANYTHING in the unit. Nor was there any food items in it.
susan dBetter communication about pick up location. I could not get through the phone line to find out that my pick up location had been changed. If an email or text had been sent it would have been more convenient for me.
Lisa BWhen I dropped off the truck the Uhaul facility, it was unorganized. The staff person did not check the fuel gauge to ensure the tank was full, or the truck for cleanliness. I did not receive a print out of the charges. When I got home and looked at my email to review charges I was first charged the fee for not filling the gas tank which I did, and a charge for cleaning the inside of the truck. Both things had been done. Please review my rental, and refund the money taken from my credit card. Thank you
