Chante DMy u haul experience was horrible, I reserved my drop off with a location and then it was changed for me to drop it off far away. I had to waste more mileage and gas and then when I got to the new location it didn’t even exist there was nothing there so u haul sent me to another location which was even further. Wasting more gas and more time and more mileage. A very stressful drop off situation. Wouldn’t recommend u haul.

Robert HSome how the pickup location was in Winton, CA, but short notice-I went to the reservation on my computer print out-Maxi Mart Food & Liquor Gas, 1911 Atwater Blvd, Atwater Ca 95301 & the manager/clerk was very understanding & helpful & professional in providing me with the truck! Maybe under such notice-the compartment for loading was kinda dirty? Overall I was satisfied to get the truck on time, and the business deal was very smooth! Compliment to the manager!

mandeep sMemo Date: 9-12-2022 From: Michael and Shelly Ioane, Contract No. 18780507 To: U-Haulk, Customer Service Dear U-Haul, We have concerns about our rental; we picked up the trailer, and all brake lights and signals worked when checking the lights. Since it was daytime, it had not occurred to check the running lights; but in the early morning, when we left, it was dark, and we noticed that the running lights did not work. So cars behind us could not see the trailer. We were pulled over by CHP and warned about this; we were forced to pull over at a rest stop until daylight. This was a considerable inconvenience and cost us time and money. (2) Your trailer had no jack, so when we first received the trailer, we removed it from the truck to use it in town; i.e., we had not left town for two days. After filling the trailer, it was impossible to lift the trailer onto the hitch, and we were required to borrow a neighbor's jack to get the trailer up; on the trailer hitch, it is "shocking" that your trailer did not have a jack built onto it, "Shocking." (3) We noticed that the trailer had no spare tire or jack system in case of a flat tire, although this was not a problem for us – what would have happened if we had a flat tire? Overall we were very disappointed in the rental, and we believe we are entitled to a refund or a significant discount because the running lights were not working; that issue cost us a 4-hour delay of sitting in a rest area until daybreak. I will definitely be back if I need a rental and have already told other to get their truck from Maxi Mart and Food.

Heriberto MFelt like my boyfriend was interrogated. “Strange you brought back fuel where you checked it out.” Are we not supposed to do that?? That is what we were told To do at the uhaul we picked up from. “You barely put any miles on it.” Our move was not that far. Didn’t want to pay more for gas than we had to with these gas prices. Wow. Won’t use them ever now that we live here!!!!!
