Your website allowed me to reserve at my closest location but switched me to another. Your customer service rep said I could drop off at the closer site at no extra charge. When I picked up the trailer the cost had doubled. I'll think twice before using uhaul again. What saved you was the excellent service Marks provided.

Hard to navigate lot. Lot is mud/gravel combination and the inside of the cargo bay had dried mud footprints throughout. Staffing is minimal and it took about 30 minutes to pick up the truck once we were on-site.

Great people. Just a lot of equipment parked there! Wow! Glad I did not have to drop off here although the sign does say leave it in the ditch if you drop off. That makes it easy I suppose. He forgot to give me my moving blankets. I just decided to let that go and decided I was not going to go back and get them.

The location was perfect for me as I was dropping off the contents nearby. The location was not dirty, but it was very crowded due to it being a trailer sales business quite packed with trailers and there was a great deal of snow. The staff that checked me in was terrific.

Make sure the lights on the trailers are working before a customer picks up the trailer. This one had been sitting for awhile (buried on the lot) so pulling it out prior to the scheduled time might have been nice too. The personnel on site were thankfully able to manage fixing the electrical issues with the trailer within about 15 minutes.

My pickup location was moved about 12-15 miles from where requested, which wasn't ideal for day before a move, but workable. Truck was clean but in mediocre condition.

We requested a different location for pickup. We had used them for 2 previous moves and knew they were very helpful in loading the car but uhaul assigned us to the alternate place and would not let us change. They were OK but not what we preferred.

My experiences with Uhaul in the past have been absolutely horrible and that is usually because I have rented from places that were strictly Uhaul centers. This was an auto shop that does Uhaul on the side and the way they handle customer service is way better than any other Uhaul service centers I have had the unfortunate circumstance to deal with in the past. I actually prefer to use Penske because how horrible your company is but unfortunately they don't have a presence where I live now. If you would like to improve your service, take notes from these companies because that contract with you. These companies do a much better job than most strictly Uhaul centers. I would also like to say that the online reservation system totally sucks. I made a reservation for a location that was close to me and when I made it the website made no indication that the center was changed on me. The center that the reservation was actually made for was a location almost 10 miles away from me and I didn't realize this until I clicked on the link in the confirmation email that was sent to me. So yeah... Uhaul's customer service really sucks but the auto service center that handled this for Uhaul as a contractor did a really great job, you guys can learn a lot from auto shops like the one I just worked with.

The gentleman who received my vehicle didn't know what to do about finishing the transaction and the guy who was the person who did U-Haul is not available. Dropped off my vehicle at 9:30 in the morning and get a receipt for an extra day charge to because they said I dropped it off at 4:30. There's also not much room for maneuverability at the location

The right turn signal light did not work (discovered later) and the inside had not been swept out. No blankets were available, and no furniture dollies available. I do understand these things must be ordered in advance at smaller locations.

Trailer i rented was in good condition with the exception of the tire that blew out on me. The response time to get it fixed was ungodly terrible 4 hours on the side of the road, this put my whole day 4 hours behind. Would think if you rent a trailer that it would at least come with a spare.... not very happy at all.. i sure hope i will be compensated for my troubles...

You can let them know if you are going to switch their pickup location. I had to backtrack a half-hour to pick up the trailer, because I wasn't informed of the change. I wasted an hour on a day I didn't have time to waste.

I arranged my rental with Valley Pools in Hudson, WI. At no time during the paperwork did they explain the rental process including the trailer might be supplied from another UHaul agent? This left me very confused at the time I called about picking up the trailer. Further, Valley Pool did not clarify the process at that time leaving me very upset. This aspect of customer service is worse than poor thus lowering my perspective of UHaul.

We rent every year for 5 days. Marv has been great to us. May not be the cleanest but the people are great and so easy to work with. Earlier this year I needed to rent a trailer and you sent way way north of my home and Marv's was able to help me out then. I enjoy working with them.

The person who checked me in (Mike) was very pleasant. He questioned why my reservation was from 8-12. When I explained that was the only option when I made the reservation online, he asked if I would need the truck longer. Yes. I really would not be able to move everything in 4 hours. I was hoping I could extend the time. He told me I could bring the truck back by 3 or I could bring it back the next day (24 hours). I was pleased. He told me it was a "newer" truck and that I should have no problems. He did point out the a windshield wiper was missing and that the driver's side floor was muddy. Because there was no rain forecast, I was okay with no wiper. The floor was very muddy, but I was okay with that. The driver's side arm rest was broken completely off; I wasn't sure how to close the door at first. I had to place my fingers inside the window well to pull the door closed. At 11:30 Mike called me to tell me I had to bring the truck back. He explained that he was unaware that the truck was reserved for the rest of the day by another party. The problem for me was that I was only half moved. If I had known I had to bring the truck back by noon (as per online reservation), I would NOT have taken the truck. I would have gone down the road to the other U-Haul dealer and gotten a truck for the full day. SO, I had to race to unload what was in the truck and get it back to Marv's Consignment. I was upset. I was only half moved. When I voiced that I was upset with the mix up, Marv (the owner) turned around from his desk in the office and was very rude to me. He did not know the full extent of the mishap, but he told me that he had been in business since 1995. Well, if this is how he treats his customers (no apology for the mishap), I don't know why anyone would give him business. Mike, the employee who had done the paperwork for me, was very apologetic. But he had trouble printing out the receipt, so I had to wait another half hour while that glitch was fixed. He then handed me a receipt from some other customer. I left VERY UPSET. I have used U-Haul many times to move and this is the first time I have not been totally satisfied. I'm very upset that Marv was rude to me and made no attempt to get me a truck for the day. He suggested that the "next time you use U-Haul..." I be aware of the reservation policy. I WILL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN IF THIS IS HOW THE DEALERS TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I remain half moved. I am a school teacher. I don't have tons of money to rent a truck again. This has been a terrible experience.

The truck had damage that wasn't stickered, cab had cigarette butts on the floor, back needed sweeping. Speedometer is off at least 3mph. One rental agreement said the odometer was at 50,000+ while another said 70,000+. I called Uhaul concerned that we would be charged for going over our mile limit depending on which agreement was looked at by drop off location.

The truck was a piece of crap, the trailer was crooked and to make a long story short, it was a rotten trip from Wi to Fl. and they are trying to charge me an extra $350 because it was late coming through a blizzard and driving slow because the truck was constantly pulling to the left. and I couldn't make contact with the drop off point.

This location did not have the dolly we rented online so we had to rent one from somewhere else which cost double for twelve hours instead of twenty flour. Also our uhauld was blocked in by a mound of snow and frozen to the ground. It took a good chunk of time to get it out. Then who ever had the trailer last dragged the wires for the lights so that needed to be replaced before we could leave. When we arrived to our destination we realized the door wasn't latched to the trailer and frozen shut. After that the door wouldn't latch we tried everything and had to bungie it shut. I have rented uhauls a couple of times and never had a problem until now. It took over an hour to get our trailer from the dealer because it wasn't ready and then it didn't work.

This was an awful experience all around. When we got there they misplaced the key to the truck which took a long time to figure out. When they finally did figure it out they told me the truck had 1/2 tank and when we got in the truck it was at less than 1/8. Not cool. It was a wry shady place and I would never recommend it.

I reserved the 6x12 trailer online at Star rental in New Richmond, WI, they didn't have the reservation, the dealer called around and located my reservation at Marvs Consignment in Somerset, WI. All in all it worked out but not without a little frustration. Special thanks to Kent at Star rental for taking the time to locate my reservation me.

I got to the location early, and that was a good thing because it took them at least 45 minutes to get me the u haul vehicle and get me on my way. There were only two gentleman working and one of them was on the phone the entire time we were there. It took so long to get me on my way because their computer was locked and no one there knew the password. I was extremely annoyed and would not refer anyone there.

The person at the drop off location was very rude, because the blankets were not folded, and charged me a 30 dollar cleaning fee for folding them. Never again. Place is an absolute dump. please check for yourself.

Through no fault of the rental location, my reservation was messed up. The owner went out of his way to help me, even driving to a different location that morning to pick up some equipment. But because of this, the paperwork had to be almost entirely redone, which took about 45 minutes as opposed to the expected 10-15. You could improve by having the equipment I reserved actually available. The rental agent was very helpful.

no good drop off area when store is closed. You have to park just off busy road. Not good if it snowed over night because you can't tell where the drive area is

The men working there were very friendly and willing to help, but when I received my U haul it had less the half a tank of gas, almost a quarter tank, yet they rounded up to half a tank, a tail light on the trailer was out, which resulted in me getting pulled over, the truck gave frequent notifications stating that it had less then 1% oil life left, which concerned me, and instead of giving me two copies of the rent contract he kept one set of copies.
