ADAM Crystal W.I placed my reservation for 9:30 A.M. at Shamokin Dam U-Haul on Saturday the 28th at about 4 P.M. on Thursday the 26th. All was good, but suddenly on that Friday my reservation gets changed to 2 P.M. at Mount Pleasant Mills. On top of that, my reservation was for 2 P.M. couldn't be picked up until 3 P.M. I would not recommend any U-Haul locations for anyone. The people in stores were fine but the U-Haul corporate was way below subpar.

The night before our move, uhaul changed my pick up location, from the uhaul store 0.3 miles from my old house to about 30 minutes one way ( about an hour out of my way ) At the Shamokin Dam location, the man working there insisted that even though I'd made early reservations, they don't have a truck and I was welcome to cancel. Being a day before the move I didn't have much of a choice. Also, I was told I was going to have a discount for my trouble. I paid full price. “ this happens all the time†- Shamokin dam uhaul clerk.

Michael Y.Have the clerk wear a mask! She was efficient, helpful, quick, and friendly, but we are in the midst of a pandemic and masks should be worn in the store. My reservation was supposed to be for the largest utility trailer, but it was switched to a smaller one without my consent. That very nearly mixed our whole move. Please note, this was company policy, not the clerk's fault.

Larry T.We made a mobile reservation and were expecting a quick pickup with our cell phone (it was also noted with our reservation confirmation to “make sure you bring your mobile device†however, we had to wait for a TERRIBLE internet connection for over 45 minutes to reservation confirmation and a receipt to sign and were never asked about a “mobile†checkoutâ€. Also we only needed the truck for about 24 hours and returned our truck two days early but still had to pay a three day rate. Would like more of a variety of rental rate options!!!

Donna M.I ordered at 15 ft a month and a half ago and two days before I was to pick it up I got a call that the closest place I could get one was in Herndon, PA which is about a hour from my home. I couldn't do that so they said they had a 10 ft. available so I took that. I feel that since I called way in advance I would be guaranteed the 15 ft. I don't blame Martin's Hardware for this. The people I talked to at Uhaul were very nice but I just don't understand why the 15 ft wasn't there for me. We managed with the 10 ft.

keith U.Although they had some slow computer connections, the location people were very accommodating and followed up above and beyond in my opinion with making sure I got a credit for the furniture pads I never received with the rental. Awesome folks!!
James K.The equipment was not clean! When I got it to my house and opened the trailer doors, the smell almost dropped me. Who ever had it before me, carried hay and tomatoes in it. The location that I picked it up at did not clean it out. Nor did they help attach the trailer to the hitch. I am most upset with Uhaul because I set it up for me to pick up the trail in Shamokin Dam. Uhaul's website listed Shamokin Dam as having the trailer. The day before at almost 5pm I get a text letting me know that the trailer can be picked up at this location. But in fact the preferred location did have this trailer so I am wondering why I had to travel even further than I had plan. Done with Uhaul because of this experience.

LARRY T.When reserving a truck I haul never seems to have the right size truck when I go to pick up it's not the renters fault they do charge me a lesser eater even tho the trucks are bigger ones problem is I do venues and fairs and some times I need a 10 ft. Van then when I get there they only have a 15 or 20ft. And the venue I have I can't always get a bigger truck into the spot and yet I drive by other u haul people and there sit 3 or 4 vans like I need
