We reserved an appliance dolly, but there were none at that location. He said there was one at another location, so I went over there. No dolly. Went to a third location. No dolly. Ended up renting from another company. When you reserve some thing it should be there. I will never use U-Haul again.David E.

The uhaul was dead, had no blankets or dolly as requested AND WAS CHARGED FOR. We went back inside to request some assistance and was told they have nothing to do with uhaul.Gayla S.
There were no clear directions; the trucks were parked on the curb of an access road that was separated from the pickup box by a field of junk cars. My wife and I sat out in the rain for 1.5 hours while she tried to navigate the online checkout process and I spent the vast majority of that time on hold. Even when I did get to talk to someone, all they could do was walk me through the website.John W.

Drop off location was 13 miles from the destination. Signage was almost non-existent, didn't realize for some time that the gas station was also a U Haul franchise.John M.

This was a disaster. The employee did not know what he was doing, he did not have the supplies I had ordered and did not know about them, his printer was not working, the location itself felt unsafe and was dirty and disorganized, and the employee said he "hoped" the truck worked. We spent over an hour trying to just pick up the truck, and the next morning we had to go to a different location to pick up the supplies we had ordered. He was incompetent and the location was poor.Ed S.

The owner of the property went extra miles to explain everything I needed to know of U-Haul services. He did provide me excellent service and I would highly recommend this location to a friend or my relatives. Nice job!Mahesh P.

We we're told if we had it back by 3pm the next day...which was same time of pick...we would get some of our money back. Not true according to drop off in Springfield. Vehicle was well maintained and got me here in one piece!WINDEA Q.

Truck had papers, debris and dirt on the floor.Sign inside said clean it or be charged $25. The truck had to be cleaned by my wife before we could begin loading it. Took the truck anyway because we had to move that day. Lady at the store loaned us a broom to clean it out. Think we'll try Budget next time. Sorry. PS. Have the correct equipment available per the reservation. They did not have my ordered moving pads or dolly - I needed to drive to another location to pick up the pads and never did get a dolly.TOM S.

Maris is a disgusting place. If you read about the owner in the newspapers over the past year because of his store, you wouldn't want UHaul to be associated with it. They didn't know how to work the computers to check me in and check me out from using the truck. It took an hour to get the truck which cut into the time that I had rented it. AND when I reserved the truck over the phone with Uhaul I went over ALL the fees associated. I was then blindsided by a fee when I went to check out. I would NEVER recommend UHaul or this location to ANYONE!AMBER D.

1) The owner did not show up to take care of this as they told me they would be there the night before when I spoke with them directly. 2) The staff had NO CLUE how to take care of this. 3) The store is nothing more than a glorified head shop. They sell a lot of drug paraphernalia. This is a pitiful representative of UHaul. 4) I reserved/paid for 10 blankets. They had to search for some and gave me four (4) blankets. It was a very distressing experience. I will never rent from UHaul and this location again. We actually notified the DEA for Missouri about this place.Stacy D.

This horrible person waiting on us there not once but both times told us we would have to WAIT TIL SHE WAS DONE WITH HER LUNCH BEFORE SHE WOULD WAIT ON US !!!! On 2 differant Uhauls we turned in!!! She was very short and rude both times. Not bothering to look for us to go over the uhaul w her when she did finally go over it as we were waiting in her store to finish her lunch and said oh I didn't see you, well oh she didn't bother to look then she was just really rude the 2nd time worse than the first I recommend her uhaul trailers be taken away and given to someone else who wants to do the job and wants to wait on people not just eat lunch all the time !!!!Dawna T.

When I walked in to pick up the truck the person at their counter didn't know they rented them and told me "this isn't Uhaul." All downhill from there. Waited several minutes once someone else came to help me. Ended up their computer wouldn't work and she had to call Uhaul and I had to relay all the information i had entered online again. Wasted my time twice as i had even used the express check-in on the website. Took 15+ minutes to pick up AND return the truck.Brian C.
The cashier kept taking store customers after we let him know we had a reservation for to pick up ou uhaul. Also he couldnt print reciept because of lack of ink in his printer. Before we left he was able to give us one.sherry G.

The initial problem was the location at Business 70 West in Columbia where I was given a confirmation which was changed the day before to a location that was 99% filled with trash, papers, and looked like a dump. The location didn't open until 10:00 a.m. I had lined up movers to be at my house in Columbia at 8:00 a.m. The man that ran the location didn't have the two dozen blankets I ordered so I had to pick those up at the Columbia Business 70 West location where they told us they had a 26' foot truck available. Ridiculous poor customer service. Man at Prathersville did not know how to make a revised reservation for us and we had to wait a total of 2 1/2 hours to get our truck. I was also only given 29 miles when the move location and drop-off location was more than 50 miles away. I had to put $50 worth of gas in the truck as it only got 5 miles per gallon. Very dissatisfied with U-Haul in general although this location was as poor as it could possibly be.STEVEN W.

Inspect the trailer for starters. My husband spent an hour trying to get the lights to work only to find that the cord on the trailer was cut. I will not rent from uhaul again.GREG N.
This site is a disaster. The owner uses a storage room off of his convenience store for his U-Haul business. He did not have the correct dolly I asked for - only had an applince dolly. Had requested 12 furniture blankets, he only had 6 and those were covered in saw dust, in a heap on the floor. Finally, I could not get the truck until after 11 am, seeing as he was the only 1 able to process the order AND only if his convenience store employee wasn't busy. Recommend closing this site completely. Again, this site is a disaster.LEE H.
