From the beginning of the rental (no appliance dolly and waiting at the site for an hour with Customer Service) to returning the truck (an hour late because I wasted an hour, had to go to Home Depot to purchase an appliance dolly and talking to Customer Service agent that was rude like she was the one that had the bad experience). Overall it was BAD.

After the Worcester, office in the triangle corner gave away my trailer maid them come back just to leave again mngr supposed to have given me a $80 discount cuz I had to drive to Ashland, $451.44 charged at the other place dude didn't ilaburate any prices & or paperwork so I, take it and later is charged another $546.44 total of $997.88 mind you this is 29th till today I get a email to leave a comment about there service 8 business day's later still no response! or refund from "head honchos" 2mrw IAM reporting fraud to my Bank!!! Watch yourself if your moving on a budget, this folks will ring you a new 1 🤪!!! 8(~Be Very Careful~ 8(

This was the worst experience by far ! My original reservation was to be picked up in Milford after sitting there for about 2 1/2 hours trying to call customer service and getting the lock box code we finnalt went to a new location were they had to completely re do the whole reservation smh I was originally scheduled to pick up a U-Haul at 4:30 5 o'clock and I did not pick it up until 730 I do not recommend the contactless pick up to anybody!!!!

Explain the contract more in depth. I was charged for an additional day when I requested on line two days. I asked the clerk if I was complete when I checked out, he said yes then I was charged an additional day.

Well I only needed the truck for 4 hours only. It was pretty expensive for the price. They should change the cost if u only going to use it for a few hours, maybe you will get more business that way, but companies always like to screw people over to make money.

When we arrived we had many problems picking up the truck. We never received the code to unlock the box and our Uhaul reservation said it was cancelled. We tried to update the time as it suggested, but it would not let us. Eventually the wonderful man at Marathon Mobile was able to help us, but even then we never the received the code to unlock the key box. The man at the Mobile had to unlock it for us. The whole process took about an hour.

Drop off was 100% different. First, the truck worked out great. Clean, gas savings, ramp worked great, etc...What I would have expected. Again touchless drop off worked I have to say I will think hard about using uhaul again. The pick up process put my life and my wife's life at risk, not to mention we were 2 hrs late. I guess the difference is uhaul is in business to rent products versus a gas station owner who also does rentals...he put me and your business at risk. At what point do I get a refund or reduced rate for doing all the work for uHaul? I realize you are not responsible for Covid 19 but if I have to check myself in or drop off check out...should the pricing model be based on what level of service? Grrr....

The experience was not good. We were automatically changed to a 24/7 ride share without being asked, and I was nervous because that meant we wouldn't see a person when checking in. My fears were confirmed. When checking in, the website told me to see an attendant about a key, but there was no attendant there because it was after hours. I clicked the “help I can't get my key” button and all it said to do was to go see an attendant. I used the chat feature, and eventually got a number to call. While typing it in my phone, I accidentally clicked some button on the website; when I hit the back button, the phone number and the rest of that chat history was gone, so I had to chat with someone else. Once I got a hold of someone, he was helpful and I finally got my key. All told, it took me an hour from the time I started the process until I was driving away with the truck. There was a gas station attendant there, and he told me the issues I was having seem to happen often.

Stay away from this specific location. Very unhelpful. In this instance the key for the truck was behind the counter for counter pickup. Person on duty denied it was there until I got national representative to speak to him and then have the regional manager speak to him. Only then did he take the key off the hook, which was right I front of him, and said ?here is your key!” He knew it was there, but preceded to sell gas and other items in store, rather than complete my rental. It took 45 minutes to do a 5 minute pickup. If you plan to use this location do not use counter pickup option. When I spoke to the owner of the location on the phone, to put in a complaint, he was no better.

When I arrived my email said to go to the front desk to pick up the keys. I went inside and the clerk told me I needed contact Uhaul and get a key for the lock box. When I called the Uhaul rep they were very nice and professional and told me that I should be getting the key at the front desk. They tried calling the clerk and he didn't answer. The Uhaul rep gave me the codes to the lock boxes to try. Two were empty and one wouldn't open. The uhaul rep got ahold of the site manager who was able to get ahold of the clerk. The clerk walked outside and handed me the keys. He had had them the whole time and had me waiting almost an hour. It was a horrible experience. He was also extremely rude to me. The Uhaul reps were great but this clerk was horrible.

I found having to process the return through the website to be frustrating and cumbersome. At the end of a long day, I didn't want to have to try navigating to the site on my phone, figure out what to click on to process the return, deal with slow cell signal, taking photos, etc. in the middle of a gas station parking lot. I understand that we are in an unusual period with coronavirus, but I strongly prefer to have representative there who can help process the return.

In the COVID world in which we live, it is apparent that NO steps are taken to clean the rental vehicle to ensure driver and passenger safety. I brought my own cleaning supplies to wipe down the vehicle to ensure I was protected as much as possible. The amount of dirt and dust taken off off common high touch points such as the door handles (in and outside), window roll down, arm rests, dashboard, steering wheel, seat etc, was proof that the vehicle had not been cleaned in a VERY long time. UHaul should do a much better job ensuring that their rentals and the services they provide DO NOT contribute to the spread of COVID. It was apparent to me that this is not the case. That there are no assurances that a driver or passenger can feel confident about the cleanliness and and risk they are taking when renting a vehicle. It comes across as a lack of respect to the customer.

I was billed for twice what I should have. I notified the clerk that the gas meter was incorrect, and he drew a new line on my paper and this change was not reflected in my billing. I was not told to check my mileage meter before leaving, and consequently, I was billed for twice as many miles as I used, because the vehicle was not checked in properly before I used it.

I did the one reservation but the guy at the counter had me redo my application and WITHOUT telling me added safe insurance. I never take the insurance and he up charged me without saying anything. Poor business model. I will not be back unless I really have to. ??

Mitt was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous! I stopped by first on Saturday to ask questions and he was informative about the services U-Haul provides. Thank you so much for this rental! Whenever I need a moving truck or van again, I will definitely be using this location.

Staff were very friendly, but the dropoff location was not a full service UHAUL dealer, like my pickup location was. I was on my own figuring out the dropoff procedure. The automated UHAUL text message I received helped, but could have been more clear. All that said, the location was extremely convenient for my cross-country move. I will likely work with them again when I buy and move to a local house.

No one was there to process the truck when we returned it at 2 pm the same day we picked up the truck. Then we were charged a $20 after hours fee without our consent. The email with the receipt for the $20 included an email for questions, but my email to that address was ignored. The fee was charged to our card to 4 pm the same day we picked up the truck. We will contest the charge to our credit card company.

The truck cabin was not clean and it reeked of cigarette smoke. It literally smelled like a chain smoker lived in it. That cabin needed to be completely wiped down and sprayed with a deodorizing agent.

We were happy to have the newest truck we have ever had. However, the pick-up location we had reserved was not this location. This location was farther away from where we lived which added more mileage to your reservation that was not accounted for. This location could not get the system up and running so it did not have any of our information and gave us no paperwork for our reservation. They also had none of the equipment we reserved and gave us no help in trying to get said equipment. We had to drive the truck (yet more mileage) to another location to get the much needed requested equipment we needed. This was the location we initially made our reservation with in the first place. This was very frustrating because we had a small window to move and this added a lot of time and mileage.

It took the man 45 minutes to figure out how to fill out the information on his computer. Meanwhile, customers were coming into the gas station and he alternated between helping them and ignoring them to the point that they put their items back and left the store. He was the only one working in the whole gas station. He was not able to print a rental agreement for me. Finally, we got into the truck only to find that the seats, floor, etc. was completely covered with shards of glass. We went in to report the situation and the man told us that someone had replaced a broken side mirror on that truck yesterday and must not have cleaned up. He came out with the broom and sweeped the glass out the best he could, but there was still a lot in there. He did take pictures to prove it was like that before we got it. I asked him for the utility dolley that we had ordered and he said that they didn't have any. By the time we left the parking lot it had been well over an hour. The worker truly did try his best throughout this process, but it seemed like this gas station just did not have an efficient system with renting out the trucks or maybe they don't train their workers well. Either way, we were very unhappy with our experience, especially since we are now getting questioned about the glass and the dolley at the location where we dropped it off.

I was expecting a confirmation call on Friday, May 17, around 6 pm to confirm pick up location. It never came. I had ordered a dozen moving pads, an appliance dolly, and a furniture dolly on line, none of which were available when I picked up the truck. The truck itself was new and clean.

They would not take a check for payment and I did not receive a printed contract. I locked my key in the truck and AAA got it unlocked but I was concerned that I could not show any paperwork that I was authorized to drive it.

I didn't realize it would cost so much money to not return the truck with the same amount of gas. I filled up 10 dollars and was good to go. Otherwise I would have been charged 30 for gas and 30 for gas service fee...

Location was new to U-Haul so he struggled with the system. The U-HAUL system did not work correctly on the laptop so customer support had to be called.

The truck stalled on me several times. The doors would not close due to previous damage to the side of the truck. The truck was clean and the attendant was very pleasant. According to him you owe me a refund on mileage.

The mobile/app pickup was more labor intensive than I thought it would be. In hindsight I would have preferred meeting with a human since the app wasn't functioning properly. We actually weren't able to checkout and needed a person to complete the transaction. The radio also didn't work in the truck. The facility was easy to access and the truck was clean and ready.

The gentleman who was working there was a new gas station/convenience store employee and not the U-Haul rep. I had to hook-up the auto transport trailer to the truck myself because he wasn't familiar with it. Thank God I watched the video on the UHaul site before my pickup appointment or I wouldn't have known what to do. You owe me a partial refund for doing your work.

My biggest issue with Uhaul was that the roadside assistance, which failed to repair a shattered windshield which made for a terrible drive. Uhaul needs a better process for helping with this situation.

Clerk took forever to get rental going on computer. Once completed didn't help customer get equipment hooked up onto customers vehicle. Also needed an extension for the lights which the clerk knew nothing about. Not the greatest customer experience that I've ever had.
