I was to call Sat to confirm pik up on a Sun. and got a machine. I asked for a call back confirming and no reply. Stressful to me. The guy running the place was very nice but he was running a rental company, convienece store and gas statio all by himself. NOT efficient, took awhile, he was stressed out and all customers had to wait.Alfred P.

U-Haul ruined my entire move less than 24 hours before it was to take place. The pain and suffering U-Haul caused me with their lies and deception should be illegal. Everyone along the way at pickup and drop off was kind and helpful, they didn't cause the problems, but U-Haul themselves screwed me royally and were uncaring and did nothing to help me but force me to bend to their will. I will never be a U-Haul customer again, and will actively campaign against them to my family and friends.Jeffrey G.
We had reserved a truck for 7:00am and there was no one there to get the key until after 7:30. The truck was dirty and had cigarette ashes all over. The tire pressure sensor was broken. Customer Service was very helpful when we called. We will use a different location next time.Kelly P.

The experience was poor and I'm reconsidering ever using uhaul again. Reserved for the truck to be dropped off at Ashland, I read bad reviews and ignored it since I thought dropping it off would be okay. This location is not your typical uhaul location, it's a gas station and a convenient store. The man working behind the counter of the convenient store told me to park the truck and give him the keys, I asked several times of there was a receipt or anything I had to fill out to confirm I dropped it off and he said no, just as long as I had a reservation for the truck to be dropped off there. A week later I got an extra charge, the man never checked in the truck and I got billed 3 extra days! I chatted with uhaul and I was told I would be refunded, refund never came. Chatted again with uhaul and they told me the manager would contact me IF the refund was approved. The manager refunded me an incorrect amount, I emailed him back immediately and received no response. Absolutely ridiculous experienceBrian D.

I didn't get the fuel credit I was promised. Fuel was at 3/8 full when picked up and I returned it 3/4 full. I was told that I would get a credit for the extra fuel.Ken P.

I did drop-off my truck during after hours and it was all dark and hard to see around. The good thing is that I was able to return it even though no one was there to receive it, which was really convenient for me this particular time.Eduardo R.

Check Engine light was on. There was no notice or email explaining how to retrieve the key from the lock boxes after hours.ROGER L.
When I arrived, the trailer was ready and clean but the attendant pointed to the trailer number and that was it. No offer to assist in hooking up trailer, no paper work.Robert J.

From the beginning of the rental (no appliance dolly and waiting at the site for an hour with Customer Service) to returning the truck (an hour late because I wasted an hour, had to go to Home Depot to purchase an appliance dolly and talking to Customer Service agent that was rude like she was the one that had the bad experience). After the Worcester, office in the triangle corner gave away my trailer maid them come back just to leave again mngr supposed to have given me a $80 discount cuz I had to drive to Ashland, $451.44 charged at the other place dude didn't ilaburate any prices & or paperwork so I, take it and later is charged another $546.44 total of $997.88 mind you this is 29th till today I get a email to leave a comment about there service 8 business day's later still no response! or refund from "head honchos" 2mrw IAM reporting fraud to my Bank!!! This was the worst experience by far ! My original reservation was to be picked up in Milford after sitting there for about 2 1/2 hours trying to call customer service and getting the lock box code we finnalt went to a new location were they had to completely re do the whole reservation smh I was originally scheduled to pick up a U-Haul at 4:30 5 o'clock and I did not pick it up until 730 I do not recommend the contactless pick up to anybody!!!!Brian L.

Well I only needed the truck for 4 hours only. It was pretty expensive for the price. They should change the cost if u only going to use it for a few hours, maybe you will get more business that way, but companies always like to screw people over to make money.Rosa D.

When we arrived we had many problems picking up the truck. We never received the code to unlock the box and our Uhaul reservation said it was cancelled. We tried to update the time as it suggested, but it would not let us. Eventually the wonderful man at Marathon Mobile was able to help us, but even then we never the received the code to unlock the key box. The man at the Mobile had to unlock it for us. The whole process took about an hour.Dean C.

Drop off was 100% different. First, the truck worked out great. Clean, gas savings, ramp worked great, etc...What I would have expected. Again touchless drop off worked I have to say I will think hard about using uhaul again. The pick up process put my life and my wife's life at risk, not to mention we were 2 hrs late. I guess the difference is uhaul is in business to rent products versus a gas station owner who also does rentals...he put me and your business at risk. At what point do I get a refund or reduced rate for doing all the work for uHaul? I realize you are not responsible for Covid 19 but if I have to check myself in or drop off check out...should the pricing model be based on what level of service? Grrr....David W.

The experience was not good. We were automatically changed to a 24/7 ride share without being asked, and I was nervous because that meant we wouldn't see a person when checking in. My fears were confirmed. When checking in, the website told me to see an attendant about a key, but there was no attendant there because it was after hours. I clicked the â€œhelp I can't get my keyâ€ button and all it said to do was to go see an attendant. I used the chat feature, and eventually got a number to call. While typing it in my phone, I accidentally clicked some button on the website; when I hit the back button, the phone number and the rest of that chat history was gone, so I had to chat with someone else. Once I got a hold of someone, he was helpful and I finally got my key. All told, it took me an hour from the time I started the process until I was driving away with the truck. There was a gas station attendant there, and he told me the issues I was having seem to happen often.Andrew T.

Stay away from this specific location. Very unhelpful. In this instance the key for the truck was behind the counter for counter pickup. Person on duty denied it was there until I got national representative to speak to him and then have the regional manager speak to him. Only then did he take the key off the hook, which was right I front of him, and said ?here is your key!â€ He knew it was there, but preceded to sell gas and other items in store, rather than complete my rental. It took 45 minutes to do a 5 minute pickup. If you plan to use this location do not use counter pickup option. When I spoke to the owner of the location on the phone, to put in a complaint, he was no better.Earl K.

When I arrived my email said to go to the front desk to pick up the keys. I went inside and the clerk told me I needed contact Uhaul and get a key for the lock box. When I called the Uhaul rep they were very nice and professional and told me that I should be getting the key at the front desk. They tried calling the clerk and he didn't answer. The Uhaul rep gave me the codes to the lock boxes to try. Two were empty and one wouldn't open. The uhaul rep got ahold of the site manager who was able to get ahold of the clerk. The clerk walked outside and handed me the keys. He had had them the whole time and had me waiting almost an hour. It was a horrible experience. He was also extremely rude to me. The Uhaul reps were great but this clerk was horrible.Brigid S.
