First â€" the proprietor was excellent in his service and quickly, easily resolving the problems that arose. I would definitely rent from here again. To improve, having more recent and *accurate* check-out photos of the 9'-foot van I rented would have been good and saved me time & mileage. There was a major scrape on the rear driver's-side lower panel which neither my partner nor I noticed at the check-out inspection, and we were thorough. The van had been parked so close to its neighboring truck in the lot that I had to enter from the passenger side to access the driver's seat in order to drive away. This made the already existing damage difficult to see, either from the front or the rear. And , this pre-existing damage was not highlighted at my check-out, either by the online inventory nor by the proprietor himself. Despite this, my overall experience was positive. Being able to refill the gas tank right there at the check-in location was a convenience plus and their gas prices were fair and competitive. doretta S.

my reservation was for 9:30 and I didn't get my truck until almost 10:00 because the person who was in front of me was having issues with picking up their reservation, so my reservation was delayed. And the person who was doing the reservations was also trying to multitask and help other people who were coming to get gas. I was charged for 3 days and I only had my U-Haul for 2 days.LATOYAL B.

I was over charged for items I did not receive and a second day of renting despite returning the truck within the window. If I am not refunded the over paid amount I will not only never rent from uhaul again but encourage everyone I know to also never use uhaul again.RYANNICHOLAS B.

Allow changes to made when you pick the truck up. Listen to the person rentaling the truck and their needs. Don't assume you know what they want and please make suggestions to cut cost or make for an easier move.TERRI J.

Horrible management here, did not have equipment that was agreed upon in the contract. Was not able to work with the agent very easily to get the problem solved which made the whole rental process very lengthy and delayed our entire move.CHARLESWINDOM B.

We rented a U-Haul truck (16 ft) from here. The next day, we rented a 12 ft trailer from another location. About 20-30 minutes after we began driving, the trailer's rear tier blew. We exited the highway and pulled over and called U-Haul. Fortunately, the person who fixes tires was near by and he arrived in about 15 minutes (good), and he and his assistant changed the tire and had us on our way quickly. Kudos to them. As for maintenance, I understand some locations are not equipped to do in-depth maintenance, but I wonder if there's a way to enhance preventive maintenance. Again, the trailer was not picked up at this location, but at another location. Thanks.Jonathan M.
Personnel was helpful, but not overly friendly. It was an adequate place to return the rental. I really didn't understand why it is right next door to a UHail location. I went to the wrong place tonstart. Remember, this is the Marathon station not the UHaul place.SCOTT F.
After already having issues with our pickup, we went to return the truck at this Marathon Gas station, which we scheduled to return at, and the owner came out to tell us that we could not leave the truck there and would have to call uhaul to change our drop off location. When we explained this was our drop off location and we had it scheduled he said he didn't care and couldn't take anymore trucks that day. We then had to drive down the street to another uhaul location and the employees there said they have been having issues with the marathon gas station location turning away customers/drop offs all day despite the scheduled drop offs. The employees at the official uhaul location on Columbia pike were extremely helpful and changed around the drop off locations, even though they also had a surplus of trucks dropped off that day. I would definitely recommend the official uhaul location on Columbia pike, however the marathon gas station drop off location was small, difficult to navigate, and had rude and unhelpful personnel.Melissa H.

very helpful guy, but terrible location. At least a dozen shift characters hanging around, complete chaos and a filthy, disgusting site. No clear place to park, dirty and poorly maintained. The entire Uhaul experience was terrible and I would recommend that people avoid Uhaul if at all possibleALLEN P.
First after calling the location they said to drop off the truck anytime. Then they call me telling me the lot is full and I had to call customer service to find a new location. Customer service had a 1.5hr wait time and I could not want to wait that long since I just moved 8 hours away and took 3 hours to move my stuff in. So we went to the â€œfullâ€ location, found a spot and parked it. Of course the Uhual App wouldn't load my order so I had to bring my laptop and use a hotspot to complete the return process. The website doesn't accept .HIC files (which are default iPhone photos) so I had to download them to my computer and re-export each one as JPEGs. After all that, the key return was a hand written sign that said â€œkey returnâ€ with a mail drop off slit. Who knows if this was the correct place to drop off the truck but not my problem anymore. Uhual better figure this shit out because it was absurd to deal with after working for 11 hours to move into a new city.Austin E.

You should really clarify that the Marathon Go location is NOT the UHaul lot right next door. I wasted 2 hours waiting to pick up my truck when I was just at the wrong place. I also had to wait those 2 hours because my rental did NOT end up being the self-serve 24/7 option that I requested during my reservation and that I was assured over the phone it would be. When I called customer service to try to get answers, because it was before the pick up location opened, I received no help or answers and instead was automatically hung up on. This was insanely frustrating and does not make me want to use your services again.MIRELLALYS E.

The truck was provided with 1/4 tank of fuel and I was charged over $43 for fuel charges after driving a total of 20 miles. My reservation was for 8 am and U-Haul delivered it to the location at 8:10. That driver should have been responsible for the fuel.LARRYALLEN C.

It took an hour and a half even though I had a reservation and through the mobile app. I was under the assumption that it was suppose to be contactless, but you still need an agent to get the keys. I really wish it was a code box. Then the two locations were side by side with no clear direction. Once I was in the right spot, the app crashed. Upon drop off, there wasn't clear instructions from the agent. Overall it was extremely frustrating, and the pick up made me late to a very important styled shoot. In the future, there should be upfront instructions for the overall experience.Becca M.

Slow service. I had to reiterate all the information to the service counter even though I did all on-line prior to arriving. Had to find blankets myself as no one helped. Gentlemen at second building said, â€œWhy the f@&k does he send everyone up here?â€ Three workers were sitting in the tree line eating lunch. Realized the blankets were all wet when I got home. Truck only had 1/4 tank of gas. Didn't receive a furniture dolly that I paid for. Avoid this place.MICHAEL M.

You really need to specify that you cannot pick up the trucks 24/7. If the location had not been open early that day, the link I got told me that I would have had to wait until it did open to grab the key (over an hour past my reservation time). The 24/7 advertisements are false.ANNA S.

I did not like the fact that I had to pick up a truck that I would have to take 500 miles north from a random gas station. It took nearly a half hour before the attendant gave me the keys. The gas tank was under a half tank when I picked it up, so I had to pay nearly $70 worth of gas at the same station before driving out of the lot. That is really unacceptable.Rahsaan M.
This gas station pick up was horrendous compared to the u-haul location right next door. The difference of one number on the address made it very confusing. The gas station clerk had no idea what was happening and it took him far too long to rent the truck to me. The truck itself was fine. Did what I needed it to do.
