clerk was rude and told me one price and when I turned it in. told me a totally different price that was much higher. Will never go there again!

Truck was filthy, had love bugs all over it. Windshield had so many bugs on it you couldn’t see safely. I had to clean it in order to see clearly. The gas tank level was inaccurate according to contract. Personnel was not helpful or friendly.

Felt unsafe in the van that you gave me. There was two on the lot and you choose to give me the the older one. The passenger side air bag did not work and we had a child riding with us. We were suppose to get six furniture blankets but you only had three of the blankets. We paid the same prize as if we would have gotten six. Will not use this location ever again.

The employee responsible for the transaction was nice, but the Point of Sale system was not working here and it took an hour for the transaction to complete before I could leave with the trailer. On top of that, the U-Haul representative that eventually sent the transaction through overcharged me by roughly $50 compared to my reservation price.

wasn't notified of change in pick-up location. went to original location and was told it was changed. I called u-haul and was told where to pick it up. Original pick-up spot was less than 10 miles, new spot was 25 miles. i received no phone calls notifying me of this change.Truck should have been sent to original location. Customer service SUCKS. last time I will use u-haul

Drop off reservation was not in the uhaul system. Had to call corporate to get them to change it before attendant would work with me. Once in the system, the system would not allow attendant to complete the turnin, has to drop off (create a hand written receipt) and wait for the official turnin and system receipt to be generated. For a nation wide rental business like Uhaul, this experience was not a smooth one. Most of the problems seemed to be with the Uhaul database. The company should invest in system improvements to ease the customer experience. These frustrations make me hesitant about future use and business with Uhaul.

with hauler ask more questions are more clear questions. hauler 10 inches to short for long wheel base truck .spent $67.36 unnecessarily. time out 9:46 am time in 11:12am same day never used.

It seems that every trailer I rent, it has a light on the rear that is not in the hole or not sealed. It would be nice if someone would see that and fix them. thanks.

There was a trailer running light burnt out and when I mentioned it to the attendant she just said she couldn't help. The trailer is heavy and there was no assistance in hooking it up so I had to call a friend. You need to install jacks on these trailers. Too bad Penske doesn't rent trailers as my last two experiences really suck!!

Attendant did not assist in hooking up trailer to vehicle and left myself and my friend to do it ourselves. He provided zero instruction on the operation of the safety/brake chain attachments. He did not verify the lights were operating appropriately.

UHaul Rep put the wrong trip type in the contract. had to drive 30+ minutes back to the pick up location because they put the trip as in town rather than one way

The truck was returned in the same condition as pickup, but I was charged overly because the clerk didn't feel like checking the truck at that time. I waited and no results. I went back to store and it doesn't take 30 minutes after to adjust to your mistakes. Extra fees is not on me. I paid for my rental but not the extra.

Truck was not clean. Had sofa cushions still in the back of truck. I paid cash 100 deposit and when i used the app to return the truck it charged me for cleaning fee. But truck was not clean from last renter. I tried to call and talk to someone..was not succesful had to call 1800 number still not resolved. I just want my change back. Think ill stick to regular uhaul sites

Sent email. Was charged more than I expected. Price I contracted on line less than charged at location. Did express check in but had problems when I picked up trailer. Get trailer several times a year, may have to seek another company.

This location was okay. I had been through so much back and forth with U-haul that I was over the whole process. I had to sweep the back of the truck upon return in order to not be charged a fee. There was nothing but miscommunication between myself and the company from start to finish. I will not be using U-haul anymore. Changes were made and approved without me even agreeing. This is my second time and this experience was the worst. The pick up and drop off locations were fine. U-Haul as a whole really needs to get its act together.

Tonya Sanders gave great and quick service. I would definitely refer this location to other people. They should have boxes as well considering their convenience to so many apartment complexes. I had to drive all the way across town to buy boxes for my move.

There was only 1 employee at this location. He had to take care of the customers for the convenience store and the uhaul customers at the same time. This location needs more than 1 employee at the time.

It was very difficult for a handicapped person and I had to hire extra help just because their was no step up into the truck and no rail to get into the cargo area. Also I was overcharged as well. I am going to file a claim with the ADA regarding the handicapped problem and a claim with the BBB regarding being overcharged. I paid almost 200.00 in cash and then the location charged an extra 92.00 on my bank account. I returned the truck clean, and on time, an within the estimated mileage and should not have been charged that much more!

The clerk asked me several questions that I already answered when I signed up. She also asked me for a name and phone number of a person who could vouch for me. I don't think this was her fault; she appeared to be asking based on a prompt from Uhaul's computer program she was using. I also had to wait until she rang up all of the customers buying gas, food, and lottery tickets.

The people working there were very rude. I had a horrible experience and will not recommend anyone for this location. I’m sure management is aware that the workers are lacking customer service skills but they do not care enough to change the process or hire better employees.

First the price of $19.95 a day was advertised on the truck but I was told it was $29.95 a day. I was sold insurance for another $14 or so but it was never explained that it was optional until after I returned the vehicle. But, because this is a dual role location of gas station and rental location. Their primary customers must get care of before rental customers. Although it is understandable because of the slow speed of a rental transaction. They should be at least 2 people at this dual function rental locations so that customers don't feel like they are not the businesses main focus when then are being taken care of and asked to step to the side for other customers.

They were supposed to call me the day before to schedule a pick up time, but they didn’t. I called them and left a voicemail, but they didn’t return my call. I had to go over there the day before and ask them in person what time I could get the trailer. I was never told that the trailer needed a 1 7/8 “ ball. (I had been told when I arranged the rental that I would need a 2” ball.) When I got there to pick up the trailer, they knew nothing about it at all. They didn’t know what size ball was needed, and it caused me to have to leave and go purchase a different size ball which delayed my pick up, thus delaying my loading (which I ended up having to do in much hotter temperatures.) They also did not know anything about hooking it up, and advised me that maybe another customer (the location was a Marathon Food Mart/gas station) might be able to help me. As a paying customer, I found this experience completely unacceptable.

One thing uhaul needs to do is too have a longer rear ramp. If a person gets in on a hill the ramp is too short and the incline is to steep.

The lady never went out to the van with me to verify that it was clean inside and the gas level. I got charged for the trash that was in the van when I got it and I also got charged because the van had less gas than her paper work showed when I got it. Being this was my first time ever renting I had no idea that I was going to get charged for leaving the van exactly like I got it. I will never use uhaul again and I will never recommend uhaul to anyone.

The truck needs major work. The steering is bad, breaks barley work, windshield wipers dont work, and we had to clean out the trash in the truck before using it. My military background help me deal with the driving problems. We got tired of fighting with the truck and returned it before we were done. I really hope they get the truth service before leasing it anyone else and they get hurt.

This is my first experience with Uhaul and my need was for couple of hrs only. But this location doesn't have hourly rental and 24 hrs rental was $29.99. I assumed that will be my total charges but in addition to that every mile i used was charged. I had used for around 50 miles and finally i end up paying around $80. This is costlier than having someone deliver the items and paying them. I don't understand the purpose of saying $19.99 or $29.99 rates if the miles are also going to be billed.

This Marathon station does not represent U-Haul well at all. My contract took over an hour. Then it was entered incorrectly as one-way rather than the clearly explained local rental. I was over charged as a result. Therefore when I returned the trailer I was told I could not return it where I had picked it up. The attendant was totally apethetic and said she couldn’t multi-task so I had to call U-Haul myself to correct the mistake. I had to call customer service twice and still was unable to get a receipt that I returned the trailer on time (actually early). The trailer functioned perfectly, but the incompetent service at the Marathon on Zebulon Rd in Macon GA made the experience very unsatisfactory.

The trailer was clean on the inside but dirty on the outside. The biggest problem is that the lift gate has not been lubricated and was binding so it took two people to get it up and down. Also, since this is a convenience store/gas station, the clerk is the only employee on duty and is not available to help. When I picked it up the person came out to make sure it was the right trailer but left us to hook it up ourselves. When I dropped it off there was a woman on duty, the store was very busy, and I was alone so I had to unhook by myself. The trailer tongue is very heavy and difficult to lift off with one person. Had I not rented trailers many times in the past, this could have been a disaster without any instruction or assistance in hooking up.

There was an issue with the gas pump at the dual location. The personnel did not want to assist with getting that situated. I had to wait 30 minutes before the drop off process could be completed. The customer service needs improvement.

Not pick up at the marathon food mart in Macon. Horrible staff, lazy, system broken. Tried to get me to give some random person on the phone my credit card info to get my truck. When we dropped off they tried to charge me for 2 days when I only had the truck for a few hours. During my move I think I was on the phone with uhaul for over an hour combined.

This was horrible. I'm still disputing the charges. These people were unaware of uhaul rules and we had to call while we were in the store to get things taken care of. They charged a cleaning fee just for having to go outside and removed a plastic bag out of the back of the truck... my husband went and did it for them, but they still refused to remove the extra charge. They also charged us for having the vehicle dolly and extra day when it was returned over 8 hours before the end of the rental day. They were rude, unhelpful and just inconsiderate. They didn't even help direct us where to park and there's no signage on where to park. Just the worst uhaul experience I've ever had.

The young lady helping me did okay. The thing that I noticed was this wasn't just a Uhaul rental place. It was a gas/convenience store/fast food restaurant all in one that rented Uhaul equipment. It is hard for any one person to manage all that at one time. The thing that I really was displeased about was that after I reserved the trailer online I was encouraged to fill out a easy pre-check in to insure speedy service. I did that. So when I got there to pickup the trailer I had to do it all over again. What's the point with pre-check in if you have to do it twice?

The lady at the desk gave me the wrong truck. She was unable to answer my basic questions (i.e. What is my mileage limit? When do I have to return the vehicle? What is my total price?). Needs more training.
