We were treated very poorly given the fact that we are homeless. They didn’t have any compassion towards the fact that we needed the truck for an extra couple days. They wanted to turn around and charge us with stealing the vehicle, which is ridiculous. All we were trying to do is be able to find a place to stay.
Danielle SpeedThe check in process and vehicle availability / choice was great at this location.. I was disappointed that, having a reservation, the truck wasn't cleared of snow. Fortunately I had a telescoping scraper as a regular scraper would not reach. I would expect the vehicle should be cleared of snow and ready for a scheduled reservation!!??

JEANNE O NEILThey could have cleaned the box out. It was full of sand. A quick hosing does wonders. Wires for lights were sketchy. Had to plug and unplug a number of times and clean terminals in order for the lights to work.

trevor stempskiThe location was fine. My problem was that the location sold boxes etc, yet would Not let me return the 20 pack of unopened boxes still strapped together. I could understand if they were damaged or the location didn't sell boxes...I'm 100% sure they will be resold.

Joshua BrooksRatchet strap was broken. Tires were in poor condition. One went flat had cut and screw in tread. Lights stopped working on left side of trailer 1 hour into drive. (Driving when dark outside as well since I had to wait so long for tire replacement). Overall absolute worst u haul experience no equipment inspection seems to have been done.

Norm ScheinI couldn't not believe that this is how uhaul operates. I booked a trailer (6x12) and it was confirmed for pickup on Saturday at the Stoney Creek location. When I called the lady at that location told me that they don't have any trailers and that my reservation was canacelled. At this point I was at the pinnacle of being frustrated as I needed a trailer. She sent me all the way to Brantford. Note my friend with a truck was doing me a favor and assisting me with the process of moving. When he got there after several hours they gave him a defective trailer after charging me money. I had to be on the phone calling customer service which only could assist me with booking another truck as they were not able to assist me with any form of monetary compensation for lost of time, inconvenience and giving my friend a defective equipment. We had to reserve a truck for which they also charge me over 300 dollars. So uhaul have taken almost 500 from me and have not see the decent to compensate me for the gap in their communication and the utter confusion. This is unacceptable!

odisho OdishoTrailer exterior was covered in mud, tires on trailer were only 20-30% life left, when I inquired about a spare just incase of a flat the fella at the rental desk laughed and said I wouldn't need one. As it turned out I didn't run into any problems with the trailer, but a spare is a piece of mind!!
David PollockYou should insist that all vehicles are returned with a full tank of gas instead of trying to fill to partial level. I found it difficult to calculate how much gas I had used because the tank was not full. It is much simpler to insist on a full tank for each rental.

Tom GacekI book the truck at Mario and Sam in Brantford when I got there they told me their truck was off the road fir service and I was sent to another Brantford location 6km away when I got there the office was closed till 9am and I had an 8am pick up then I spoke to uhaul HQ and they gave me a third location to go to in Brantford that had a truck. When I signed to document ts it said that the extra mileage would be at .30/ km over the allowed 150km when I originally booked I was told the km overage would be .20/ km so this whole experience was not good at all!!!
Mark LitmanThe truck is unsafe. Shakes wildly when braking. Air conditioner didn’t work. Smelled like cigarette smoke and I was charged for fuel when the original fuel log was incorrect. Extremely unhappy and you will never see me again! You have stolen 100.00 from me today by incorrect recording and then blamed me because I didn’t do your job.

Timothy BurnsThe location itself wasn't horrible the truck wasn't great. The cab wasn't clean, smelled like smoke and I could hardly see out of the windshield because it was so dirty on the inside.. Mechanically it wasn't much better. No AC, no pick up when I put my foot on the gas and the brakes make the truck jump as though the wheels aren't round. Was terrified ai wasn't going to stop a few times. Didn't feel safe in the truck Not sure the truck I rented is road worthy .

BRENT GAGEI was so thankful the process was so easy. I had to change my rental at the last minute and they accommodated without any difficulty. Ali and his team were fabulous. I heartily recommend them to anyone looking to rent a U haul.

DAVID BERGERI would never go back here even if I was desperate , this location only cares about booking in as many people as they can. I was not Finnish working and they text me to bring back the truck before I was done . it would be nice if they care more about the current customers then their next one . I don’t really know why they were texting me from a random cell phone in the first place trying to rush me. Late return or not . This place threatened to report the vehicle stolen . I needed to complete a move and it was pretty stressful thinking they were going to call the police … I will never go back here.

Robert LairdThe location was fine, it was U-haul that made my experience not so good. All I wanted was a pick up truck to haul a trailer and none were available, so I had to rent a huge 26’ van that cost way more in rent and fuel.

If someone calls me I can explain in detail but 1st off they automatically assumed I wanted the insurance. without discussing it with me and tried to just get me to sign. as well as double billed me for the truck. which I havent made the call or visit to deal with yet. the truck is more damaged than the pictures say it was and it was the dirtiest truck I have ever rented in the cab as well as in the back. Call me if you wish and I will share more. their excuses were funny and did not make sense. I didnt complain much but just let them know about the insurance without getting into the rest with them. 519 717 6880 DON
DONALDWILLIAM BACKWELLUhaul truck was in good shape. When we received it it smelt of weed and cigarettes. I requested a call back from customer service which was quick and responsive. The customer service rep apologized and made a note so we would not be held responsible for the smell. Overall process was easy. The location we found could have had a bit better service - often left our check in to help others with lottery. Overall excellent experience
Jonathan BatesEquipment had a lot of debris in the gate. Chains were very very long and no way to adjust them. Even looped them through the hook, attached to the hitch and both sections still dragged on the ground.
James TerejkoService was easy and good. Location was easily accessible, however, I found the truck very difficult to drive. The brakes seemed to have a lot of give and it had a difficult time accelerating. Since it was not an easy drive and there were no gas stations nearby or enroute off the higher traffic areas I didn't fill up the gas which resulted in paying more than I originally planned for. I would prefer drop off areas with a gas station for ease of use at the end of a moving day.

Karen AllenAgent was rude truck was disgustingly dirty and they tried to say the gas was more full than it was which I had to go back and show them with a picture when I went out to the truck that it was not but they said it was it was a quarter tank below what they'd originally indicated it was. Overall the worst experience I've had with a U-Haul and I rent U-Haul trucks about once a month I think for my next one I will most likely go to home Depot or somewhere else that rents trucks because this was such a bad experience

Andrew BetlejI rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer, the trailer generally was in good condition. The major issue I had was that the trailer did not have a jack and was extremely heavy to place on the trailer hitch when is was empty and impossible when loaded. Someone will get hurt, connecting or disconnecting to this trailer.
