Hector A.Problems when I returned vehicle nobody there to accept it, then charged me for gas when I returned it with a full tank. I took pictures so I have proof it was returned with a full tank. When I spoke to the lady at the location all she would say is that its not her problem she doesn't work for uhaul.
Jennifer L.Everything went fine on pick up aside from they made me wait 20 minutes before serving me when there was no one in front of me. But when I took the truck and went to fill it up with more gas to assure I brought it back with what they stated 1/4 tank, it was on empty so I took a picture so I could show the when I returned. I called and asked for a couple more hours and it was no problem but they never told me they would be closed and how to handle the drop off so when I got there at 4:30p it was closed and I had no idea what to do until a mechanic was walking out of garage and pointed me to the drop off key box. So I locked up the truck and I dropped the key in the box.when I went on I haul. Com it asked for pictures and mileage. I couldn't get the mileage as truck was locked by then. I called on Monday and told them about the gas, how I wasn't told they would be closed and what to do and that there were three blankets I would be rerun that were forgotten at the unit we moved out of. She was rude and said I had to call Uhaul. I wanted her to see my photo of the gas gauge but she took off to lunch just as I was walking in and a man came to help me and saw the gas register and said he would let her know. To date I have not received a credit for the gas or blankets and calling hauls number is a joke when you wait 1-1/2 hours and no one gets in the phone. I am very upset about the 3/4 of my experience and expect a refund.
lisa O.My only problem came when trying to return truck. The link given to go through steps to return kept throwing me out. After 3 or 4 times I attempted to call, w a on hold for 25 minutes. ..unsuccessful at emailing I did reach a live chat link and waited 26 minutes with no help ..and at the 2 hour mark of trying to return truck tried calling again and call was answered quickly .. very unpleasant

ALICIA W.One thing that was a problem was I got a text about returning the truck after hours. You're supposed to click a link to finish up the process. We were in a hurry and I dropped off the truck and we left. after we were driving, I went to do the online return and found I needed photos of the truck. it was too late. We had already left and were 20 minutes away. You should have it IN THE TEXT with a heads up that you need to take photos after dropping off . I didn't bother checking the link until after it was dropped off , and that caused the problem.

John J.The self serve check in is horrible. I was in the parking lot for 1 hour and it took your customer service staff 1 hour to finalize everything. They never called me back. I called back several times and finally got through to someone who was about to give me the code to access the key 1 hour later. Horrible! I would not recommend this service to anyone, ever!

Nobody checked the condition of the truck before I left. Poorly lit secluded area to leave truck after hours. Hard to get a hold of anyone. Phillip T.One of the worst experiences I've had as a customer. I scheduled my pick up on July 29 at 530, got a call the day before saying they couldn't do that time, and instead had to change it for 9 AM. I told them that put me at a big inconvenience due to scheduling conflicts, and there was nothing they could do to compensate me. So the next morning I drive about 30 miles from my house to pick up the truck (because that was the closest pick up location).I arrive at the pick up location at 9 AM and I get a call from the area manager saying that The truck is not available for pick up at 9 and there was nothing they could do about it. So I wait about an hour and a half and still No update of my trucks arrival. Instead of waiting there longer with my wife and kids in the car I go home (which by the way is 30 miles back ) . Probably 45 minutes after I arrive home I get a call that the truck is ready for pick up at that location, so I have to drive 30 miles again. All I got for this huge inconvenience was a measly $50 credit from U-Haul this is not acceptable in anyway or form. Also got charged for extra miles too, and they couldn't even compensate me there. Will never use again. Unacceptable and despicable.

Elgie L.I was told the fuel was slightly under a 1/4 tank but when I jumped in the truck and turned it on I saw that the fuel was completely empty. I explained to the lady at the cou tr and was told to go on the app to dispute, she also mentioned I would receive a credit for fuel. To top it off I was later charged a bogus $25 cleaning fee when I brought the truck back as clean as it was when I got it.

Cristian A.your dealer was not a help they wanted me to to do their job they never had me me sign the contract their for I never rented this truck the contract shows truck had 1/2 tank and I showed the dealer how took picture of the gas gas gauge which showed under 1/4tank before I left the lot he said he would send you the updated picture but they are trying to charge me $30 refuel charge and $83 for gas but I brought it back with more fuel than it had so if they do not fix this I will tell my corporate aco until that this is a in correct contract because they did not have me sign the contract I am not a u haul employee and will not do their job witch is what they wanted me to do thank you Nicholas Bommarito ps. correct this and I will not dispute it the charge is only one day and no gas or refuel charge witch is $123 and change or I will tell corporate and dispute the whole thing this was bad service the worst I have ever had thanks again Nichols Bommarito

nicholas A.The truck was in empty- the girl who assisted me was a mess. She stated, that if I take it on empty that she'd charge me $1.67 when I return it. I filled up half tank for $50 and she didn't keep her deal, she still charged me an additional $30. She was pushy and wanted to charge me after I left, I just assumed she had a customer so I was considerate of her time and left. I saw the receipt afterwards and noticed the charge. The place was a pig sty- did not look like a place of business. Do not go here! Plus the truck was disgusting.

Craig L.The representative wasn't able to get our card to scan in her machine. It took three or four tries and then she still had to add the number by hand. I'd like to see this working better. (I was afraid 3 charges would show up on my account.) That whole process just made me a little nervous. But the people were great and other than that the process was fast and easy.
Kathy S.The employee that we rented the truck from was extremely rude and asked my husband if he had enough money to pay for the rental. Also the dolly we rented online was unavailable, which meant we had to drive around and find another location with one. We have contacted uhaul already and received a partial refund for our rental. I think uhaul should evaluate the location that we rented from.

Vivian J.Interior was not vacuumed. The gas charge of 9.50 is incorrect. The gas meter was between 3/4 and 7/8. I told the young lady about this but she was on the phone and did not make the time to view the gas meter. The system to get the rental was easy but, the follow through left me disappointed.
